I've been coming here for a few years and I can't believe I've yet to review it! I recently decided…read moreto pull some pictures with my camera since I felt it was the right time, they had great options available. The ambiance always feels like fall here too, even in other seasons. I went to grab a 6 count of their apple cider donuts without sugar coating and a pack of their apple fritter bites coated with sugar, truly one of my favorites! I can vouch for their pies as well as their other flavored donuts as I've tried mostly all of them through time. While taking pictures, I stumbled upon something I've been missing on trying which was their apple cider slushie running at $2 each, they are self serve. It was so good, you can't pass that or their fresh apple cider for a $1 a cup, also self serve. This establishment is most definitely a long time local hidden gem, a favorite for many! They have apple picking available, apples for sale inside, as well as pies, more donuts, & a plethora of other fall items to purchase. Some staff members do seem friendlier than others but I try my best to never judge as my experiences still have continuously gone well. Go show this establishment some love and support! Thankful to have this place nearby.

I had a death in the family and a celebration of life event attended by and wanted to bring something near and dear to me. I purchased a bushel of 1st tier apples, pristine and delicious. I ate 4 of them before getting back to my hotel :)! They went over amazingly, and I honestly wished I could bring some home. Alas, I'll need to go back again next year...

Walk in through the front slider door then ring the bell at the counter. You will not wait long at all before Patrick arrives to assist you with whatever your mushroom or micro green heart desires. I am new to the world of mushrooms so I was absolutely fascinated to learn of the different types of mushrooms. Did you know there is a whole world of shrooms besides the white button, portobello or shiitake? I brought home a fresh gorgeous cluster of oyster mushrooms. But before leaving Union City Farm I had a bunch of questions for Patrick such as, "How do I cook these beautiful mushrooms?" Patrick was absolutely awesome and explained how to cook them. I then had questions about his mushroom farm. He walked through the process of growing his mushrooms from start to finish. I learned so much about mushrooms during my brief visit. It was awesome! Yes, I went straight home and cooked the oyster mushrooms exactly as Patrick instructed and they were delicious! I can't wait to go back to try the lion's mane. The interior of Union City Farm is clean, cozy, and warm. Take a look at my pictures for a peek. I absolutely recommend Union City Farm for all your micro green and shroomie needs!

Also the pumpkin/habanero hot sauce it out of this world. Small little farm stand ish with a big operation in the background. Is it pricey? Sure... but trust, you get what you pay for, and mushies are much more than what you find in the grocery store. Worth the trip. I also bought two habaneros there for a fire cider and forgot them on my counter :( .. so upset

The Flower Farm is the perfect place to dream of bountiful gardens and stock up on on excessive amount of veggies. I was up unusually early on a Saturday morning the other day (6am)... I had been instructed to meet friends for an event BUT they must have had too good of a night the night/morning before and never woke up. SO, what was I to do? Shop! I pulled into TFF at around 8am and was curious as to what time they opened. The owner? told me.."If you're here...we're open! Start shopping!"...awesome! The reason why I REALLY LOVE this place...their assortment of heirloom tomatoes. Now, I'm one to be obsessed with 'Tomatomania" and if you don't know what that is then you better ask somebody! Long story short, tomato mania...Morris CT... 150 varities of heirlooms...at 4.50 a pop! TFF...$2.00...yes, you heard that right...same stuff..smaller variety...$2.00. Although the variety was slim, they still had every one I needed and the owner? told me straight up that he beefed up his stock to compete with Tomatomania. So...what's not to love? Instead of driving 30 minutes, I drive 10. Instead of paying $4.50..I pay 2....it's a win win. (oh! and they have other cool varities of veggies as well...i.e...purple bell peppers!)
