My dad ordered a pumpkin donut and I just had a small home made ice cream. It it was delicious! There are 2 different areas to purchase bakery items and Ice cream which is nice . Vendors vary week by week but there's usually a good variety of seasonal produce, baked goods, prepared foods, coffee, local honey, dairy, eggs, and meats. Personal favorites: The fruit from woodland farm is amazing - they had samples of their plums and after trying one, I had to buy a pint! I can vouch for their pies as well as their other flavored donuts as I've tried mostly all of them through time. While taking pictures, I stumbled upon something I've been missing on trying which was their apple cider slushie running at $2 each, they are self serve. It was so good, you can't pass that or their fresh apple cider for a $1 a cup, also self serve. This establishment is most definitely a long time local hidden gem, a favorite for many! They have apple picking available, apples for sale inside, as well as pies, more donuts, & a plethora of other fall items to purchase. This market is only Sunday mornings and typically has over 10 vendors selling cheeses, fruits, vegetables, breads, and pastries from local farmers and businesses. They also do special vendors every once in a while like handmade soaps, or flowers. I really dig this market because it's right in the park, which makes for a nice setting, and it tends to feel more family-oriented and casual. There's often live music, games, or tables set up with recipes or information to learn about the produce selling that day.
