They poor person that was sent did not speak English and the boss Jose was rude and hostile. They did not fix the leak, I was not notified that some one was here. I woke up to see a stranger in my pool. I would definitely not recommend dealing with this company. read more

T.H.E. B.E.S.T. Jose came out and fixed our leak within one hour. He arrived exactly when he said he would, not on Miami time. This is after two pool companies came and did the bucket test, plugged various holes, etc, still losing a few inches of water. I was ready to fill in my pool. Then I found out that they do resurfacing, piping, new builds, design etc and best of all, they are super reasonably priced. If you ever suspect you have a leak in your pool, don't attempt to repair it yourself!! Call This company immediately. Jose came out with "all his equipment" and not only found it, but repaired it. It's been over a year without any problems, saving me thousands of dollars on refinishing the pool. Very satisfied customer. read more

I used this company 4 years ago and had a great experience. However i called them 3 weeks ago as i figured that i have another leak. I was charged $295 to detect a leak and then $800 to fix this leak. The pool has not stopped leaking even after they have been paid in full and now they are saying that i have another leak and are asking that i pay $725 more dollars to repair that leak. I did my job as a customer and paid them in full even when the job was not done to my satisfaction, they should in principle comp the other leak since my pool has not stopped leaking. I would stay away from this company as they do not have the best interest of there consumers as top of mind read more

I called Sunshine pool because I had a leak in the main drain of my pool. Another company just wanted to seal it, but Jose told me you can seal the drain but open another one on the side of the pool. He came by my house himself and located exactly where it was leaking. He then sent Frank to fix the problem. They were both very professional and efficient. Frank took care of the problem and left everything clean and orderly. My husband and I are very pleased with their overall performance. read more

Hello everyone, I just wanted to post a positive review about Sunshine Pool and Leak Stoppers because they recently found and fixed a leak in our HOA's community spa here in Doral, Fl. and did a first-class job and I wish to commend them for that. A bit of history regarding the job he did for our HOA which is composed of 274 homes and has a very large community in-ground pool and separate in-ground spa area. Our regular pool guy never advised anyone that the fill valve for the spa was continuously running and no one on the management or board side of business ever batted an eye at the $1,000.00 water bill that we were getting every quarter. If it wasn't for work being performed in the community which required that the water be turned off, a leak would have never been suspected. Luckily, the water was shut off due to the work and someone noticed that the water level in the spa dropped almost a foot in a 24 hour period. Yes we had a problem and how to find a solution. Obviously our regular pool guy is clueless so rather than consider him to find a leak it was decided to look for a company that specialized in leaks. Now the headache starts and let me tell you, finding a good "leak detector" is not like asking your neighbor if they know of a good Gardner. So the first step was, as usual, to hit the internet and there you find all of the BS as usual, but now what? Well I called all of them and they all give prices over the phone based of the information that they ask and you provide. So now what, are they good, bad, local, corporate, real or fake, it's difficult to figure out who to choose. So I took a different approach and after calling all of the leak detection companies, I searched instead for "pool leak detection equipment" and found the manufacture of the testing equipment that these so called pool leak finders should be using. On the manufacturers website (I'm not here to plug a manufacturer so you can do the same search as I did to verify my statements.) But in short the manufactures website has a page for Attn pool owners and then it brings you to another page Find a Pool Leak Expert. It was on this page that I found that Sunshine Pool and Leak Stoppers. I figured that if they are using the right equipment, then they should be able to locate my leak, so I called them back to talk to them again to make sure that I would get the result that I was looking for which was simply "find the leak and fix it" (note that some companies don't fix, they only find.) So Jose came out the next day, found the leak and told me that the skimmer basket is where the problem is and that I has to be replaced because the pipes under it is where the leak is. So he gave the written quote, the board approved it and the next Monday an area was opened in the pavered deck, all pavers removed, two holes were cut into the underlying concrete slap , skimmer basket replaced (additional cracked pipes were also found on the same line deeper in the ground). The pavered deck was put back together perfectly and if I hadn't taken photos no one would believe that any work took place. So needless to say, I was lucky to choose Sunshine Pool and Leak Stoppers because not only did they fixed the leak, they reassembled the pavered deck and left the area in perfect condition, the crew is very good. The savings in the water bill will pay for the job within the next 3 water bills!!!! I have attached photos before and after, hard to tell the difference save for the new skimmer cover. read more
