I just had the greatest experience with this company. From the gentleman named Ebanks who answered my call, to team he showed up with to complete the job- a total pleasure! These guys take pride in their work and aim to please their customer going above and beyond. We needed a microchip cat door installed. Ebanks had never seen this particular type of cat door, but with a smile said "no problem". With a little creativity and ingenuity Ebanks and his team did a beautiful job installing it for us. Our cat door is not supposed to get wet on the interior door. When I explained that, he happily made us an overhang to go over the interior door to prevent rain from getting to the battery area. They even replaced a screen panel, and put a new arm on our screen door that had been slamming closed forever, lol. Ebanks was so happy to assist with our cat door installation and said he loves doing creative things. It's rare these days to see someone that takes pride and joy in their work. Hired Sunshine Screen and Patio in Hollywood FL to re-screen my pool enclosure in late Nov. 2024. Last companies screening lasted 3 1/2 year before the spline started coming out! Had companies state last company needed to use 230 size spline! Hired Sunshine Screen & Patio because they had great reviews and descent price! All quotes I has by several companies I asked that 230 spline be used! Sunshine Screen & Patio quote stated 230, they used 240 I was told by Owner Ebanks! Around 2 weeks after the job we had a very windy day and two 6' x 16' top panels showed waves in them. They came out and fixed them. Then Spline started coming out in other areas on the top and is still not fixed and getting worst! When first noticed I spoke w/ Ebanks and he said again they used the largest spline, that the fix could be by using a 2" added aluminum so flat spline could be used. Not an option there is a gutter where the screening attaches to the roof. Ebanks wanted me to believe that maybe animals were walking on the top! Never seen that, nor on the roof of the house! Never had this happen with in the past. Ebanks also spoke with someone who he said stated that the aluminum may be warped! Really!! I believe that maybe a couple of other things may be why 1) the spline used is too large 2) was not installed deep enough 3) maybe spline groove needed cleaning/brushing prior to installing spline. When #1 and #2 was mentioned to Ebanks he disagreed and stated he would put in 230 spline but would not warranty it even though his quote states 230 spline! I told him that I would have companies come out and I myself would look at it. I later though I paid him to do the job, he should fix what he was hired to do and I am still in my 2 year warranty period! I have texted him twice to please fix the issues or give me some of my money back and I would hire another company to fix it and he has not responded at all!! I was not even a customer of this company my upstairs neighbor hired this company and my screen door gets cut just so happens right above my lock as they were staring into my apartment for hours and when I try to have the problem rectified I deal with a very rude owner. Don't use there services !!!! Unless you want someone to pull up in a van with a lawn chair as a seat and then claim professionalism and say you should be ashamed of yourself when trying to have a problem fixed that they created. I think they did a good job with my screened patio. It has held up in the rain with no leaks. The structure is also strong and all beams seem well assembled. There were some small imperfections that I caulked in 10 minutes. But the true litmus test, would I use them again ? Yes. read more

I paid almost 10,000 for a new screened in patio. It has leaked from day 1!!! Now it's impossible to sit out on rainy days. They had to REPAIR their own work!!!! Repair a NEW patio roof!!!! The company did a poor job on my screened porch. Screws were put on too tight and a few main one popped out. Now it has not been a year and I have a leak in two areas . They came promptly to repair the bolts but it's been over a month with various calls and emails and no one has come to fix the leaks. Would never recommend this company. read more

A great job by Sunshine Screen & Patio when I had them temporarily remove part of my enclosure so that rotted wood could be replaced by High Level Handyman Roofing Repair. The guys Glenn sent were punctual, diligent and respectful. They answered my questions and cleaned up the area. They did an excellent job re-attaching the gutters and installing new screening. I feel that the price was fair. The offic manager Diane was also a great help and very friendly. This company is a real pleasure to work with. So don't hesitate to hire them! As are as the construction of the covered patio, my wife are 90 percent satisfied. However, Sunshine failed to clean up the job site when it was completed, failed to fill in the pavers with sand and failed to correct a door sweep that was not installed correctly. Big gaps. After multiple phone calls and emails. No response. We even recommended a neighbor thinking they would appreciate the referral and come and correct the issues but they didnt. They got all their money so they dont care about standing behind their workmanship. Use Broward Screening or anyone else. read more

These folks did a wonderful job of designing and installing my screened pool enclosure. They told me exactly what had to be cleared away on my part and they arrived on time for the two day project. Their pricing was very competitive This was many years ago, so this is not a current review. The structure still looks great and All the screen sections are still taut enough to bounce a bowling ball off of. I need to call them again soon as the recent hurricane damaged some screen sections. And a few of the base screws seem to have rusted away over time. I would recommend them and use them again. Will post an update after above repairs are addressed read more

Well, I had very different experience with this company, I have my patio for 2 years now and I never have been so disappointed in my life with such low quality job. I can agree only on the speed of Glenn showing up at my house for the estimate and the timing of the job being done, the rest its my nightmare. First off all the design I wanted was not delivered, it was done what Glenn wanted to do, when job was done half way I called Glenn and told him that it is now what I wanted and it is not what we agree on, his respond was " I cant change anything now, we have all the material for this job and it can not be changed at this point". I've paid big money for this addition to my house and at that moment I felled like I was taking advantage of. When I called the office to let them know that I want to stop everything his front desk person Diane told me, do not worry, after we finish everything and we pass inspection, we will make changes to your satisfaction, demanded the rest of the payment so they can finish the job. Whenever I talk to that lady she made me feel so stupid and I cant believe that I trusted Glenn and his company with my addition to the house. And that's not all, nobody as you understand changed anything after the inspection, nobody changed the patio, I was called a liar, I was told that Diane could not say that. The roof of my patio still lower than it was supposed to be and lower than my neighbors roof, our homes are attached, so every time it rains, my patio is fool with water, it was supposed to be water proof, I build this patio for my child to have playing room, which it is not and it is not even the storage room, cant store anything because it is always wet, after all we live in Florida, it rains a lot. In 2 years that I have this patio, I called Glenn 3 times to fix the leaks, and it is still leaking, I wish I could post the video here, it very upsetting, I told Glenn that if they would done my patio the way I, costumer, wanted they would not have to come to my house and fix the leaks so often. Besides wasting almost $9000 of my money, they had cut my cable to do the roof of the patio which cost me another $200 with Comcast, of course they did not offer to pay me for that. If I would know the outcome of this I would never ever went with this company, selling it in such a sweet way, Glenn did it wonderfully, quick to blame costumer for everything and lying Diane at the front desk.
