We don't have a pool - do you Ladies have access to pool you could use?

Hi Mary, unfortunately not. At this time we are a service that goes to backyard pools. Ideally in coming years we will get access to a space so we can help more people.

If we miss a class our daughter notices & tells us! "Swimming!!" Wendy knows how EXACTLY how to work with babies & teach them swimming. One of the most impressive things they learn is if they fall in the pool they learn to put their arms up, reach for the side and climb out of the pool-this is HUGE for pool safety should your baby somehow manage to fall in!! We have had so many compliments from other parents while on vacation about how well our daughter swims for her age. Thank you Wendy & crew! We will be enrolling our son as soon as he is old enough too!

We absolutely love it there!!! The facilities are always clean and tidy and the staff is amazing. They start the babies out with small classes which help with repetition and really learning the basics, and then move them on to privates which really focus on technique and skill. We look forward to swim every week and intend to continue going well into the girls joining their swim team. Thank you Wendy and team!!!

It is well-maintained and does a wonderful job of responding to a diverse population's needs. Complaints that are irrelevant or opposed to the needs of the rest of the membership are treated respectfully. Outliers feeling free to tell the management to accommodate their own personal desires as if the club belonged exclusively to them speaks volumes about how personal this club feels: vibes of a family reunion without a drunk uncle and his entitled wife.

From Jeremiah (asst mgr) to front desk guy to Eric (general mgr), none of them care or follow through. Eric said he was going to come to class every day for a week and read the rules to the class (which include no talking during class), and start kicking people out of the pool if they were talking. He didn't show up once. All he did was post the rules on the locker room door, which at least makes it easier to turn to someone in the pool and say "there's no talking during class." I wrote Eric a second email regarding the issue and he said "you've got to be patient. It takes time for things to change." Not good enough. I'm extremely disappointed in Swell and in Eric Geeb, the general manager. Edited to add: I mentioned to Eric that I did enjoy my training session with Danny and Eric offered to comp my next session with Danny in return for my disappointment over Aqua aerobics. I thought that was very nice of Eric.

I don't know what the best solution is for this but it's a mess in terms of behavior. Nobody follows the sauna rules and brings in newspapers, headphones, food, and one guy even put his gross soaked workout clothes over the heater to dry! Just absolutely abhorrent, inconsiderate behavior. One man recently brought a huge glass bottle inside to drink with the other day, and a few of us were worried what would happen if it fell off the bench. We're all barefoot, after all. Sure enough we all heard an explosion and lots of loud cursing (classy) from the locker room later, and it turns out he dropped it and it shattered all over the changing area floor. A worker gave the man a broom but didn't say anything about why the guy brought a huge glass juice bottle out in the first place. I wouldn't feel safe bringing my kid here if they're so laid back about broken glass on the ground. Not sure what the point is of having a huge rule list taped on the sauna door is when nobody enforces it. People also take super loud phone calls as well despite the no cell-phone sign. Watch your feet if you're in the men's locker room, cause with the rubber mats with holes in them, there's no way they cleaned all the shards out unless they removed the mats and cleaned. And we can all tell from the wet mud stains in between the gaps whether or not this will ever happen...

I hear of this place every summer but never had the chance til this week. What a great place for kids to enjoy water play. But actually for the entire family too! We went during free swim time from 12-4pm and it was only $10 for ages 3 and up. There's a big shallow kiddie pool with water activities and then 2 water slides on the back side of the park. There's a rec pool that maybe goes to 4.5 ft depth so it's perfect for just enjoying the water when you can't lap swim because the pool is crowded. A large picnic table area can be found in the middle of the center too so you can being lunch and snacks too. There a larger Olympic size pool on the west end of the center that can be used for lap swimming so overall it's great for all ages and swimming levels. We're planning to be here quite a bit for the summer! There's also cabanas to change into and showers to rinse off before and after swimming.

I have been able to get my heart rate up, get resistance, core & flexibility training here. I've noticed significant improvements in my overall fitness and physique. The pools & facilities are clean and in great condition. Water temperature is about 78 degrees and they have multiple pools to accommodate lap swimming, classes, and a kid's pool. The restrooms are pretty clean, contain 3 private shower stalls, multiple open showers, and a machine to wring out your bathing suit which is a plus. I hope to be back next summe

I enrolled in the 6-week class, M-Th, for 10 minutes, and the amount of time it took me to prepare my child for swim class, pack up, get her in the car, pack snacks after, etc., for ONLY 10 minutes ... was not worth the stress. After 4 weeks (so far) of swimming with Kim, I haven't seen much improvement in my daughter's survival swim technique ... if anything, she says "NO SWIM" and doesn't want to go to the pool even more. I was hoping that based on how much we paid, we would get a more "tailored" class, with communication to the parent on what can be worked on or what skills my daughter can continue practicing, but it feels like the class is so impersonal. Kim teaches the same thing to every child, and when I ask her what I can practice on with my child, she says, she needs to come to swim classes more. I feel like it was a waste of $1,200 and 6-weeks. When I took my daughter on vacation, I felt like I taught her more in one week at the hotel pool, than the last 6-weeks my daughter had with Kim. I know that it takes time ... especially with a 2.5 year old, but I feel like the classes can be Things that I think she needs to improve on, if parents are paying THAT MUCH MONEY: 1. Give parents a "weekly report" on skillsets that the child worked on and things to continue practicing. Almost like a progress report, with tips on how to improve. 2. Text & communicate with the parent on what the child's strengths and weaknesses are. At the end of the class, my daughter could float on her back ... and kick to the stairs, so I guess that's successful. But, she refuses to go back to swim class. I think she was traumatized. She said "No Swim Teacher Kim." I should have waited until she's older .. but thought this was crucial. Did my daugther remember anything, NO.
