Took the kids here today and it was 100% worth the 1.5 hour drive from LA. MOXI is super hands-on…read moreand perfect for kids to just explore and play without getting bored. Every exhibit actually keeps them engaged not just looking, but doing. The interactive tables (like the spinning drum and dice games) were a hit. My kids didn't want to leave and kept going back to the same stations. It's also really clean, organized, and easy to navigate even with little ones. Pricing was reasonable for what you get abbout $25 for adults, $20 for kids, and under 2 is free, which is nice. Staff was friendly and everything felt well-maintained. You can tell they designed this place with kids in mind but adults still have fun too. Definitely a solid family day trip spot from LA. Would come back again

I figured out it was the Moxi. I guess it make quite the impression on her last year. The museum had some new exhibits this time around. They added a fun ball launcher that I also enjoyed as well. The water exhibit could use some love. Some of the hydraulic levers was either not working or you had to really work at it. My toddler was not strong enough to use them. One thing I like is that we were able to leave and come back after lunch. We got to make the most if our trip. I'm sure we'll ge back next year.

Their response? It was "just a parent" filming, and they saw no need to take further action--even refusing to ask parents to only record their own children. In today's world, where recordings of young girls can end up misused online, I expected more awareness and safeguards from the management. A simple policy or announcement would go a long way, but instead, they offered a vague, dismissive response. I find this lack of action concerning and irresponsible. If your priority is your child's safety, I recommend finding a studio that takes it seriously and sets clear boundaries around filming.

The instructors are encouraging and professional. I love that when I call the studio there is always a staff person I can talk to and they are so helpful. They also want to work with your financial situation and have payment plans or volunteer trades to make it feasible. My daughter dances here 5 days a week and is in company and she's loves it so much!

Before approaching the Surf Adventures, I looked for other surf classes. Some classes require beginner attend their introduction class before proceeding to a practical class, and the classes are set in different days and charged separately. I found the surfing class in Surf Adventures is a very authentic, price-worthy option for me as a beginner who wants a quick result in learning surfing. Although in the beginning, the Surf Adventures miscommunicated the change of location, the staff reached me right away and committed to giving me a complete 2-hour, fully experienced class despite the class has been delayed for 45 minutes. Patrick is the best, I hurt my foot during surfing and barely can walk, he gave me first-aid and helped me got to my car and made sure I can drive home before he left. I would recommend the surfing class to a beginner.

My son had a great time and staying in one place - not getting in a car to go to another beach - really maximizes their time in the water. Having the food catered by the nearby Shoreline Cafe makes it easy on me in the mornings too. I also really dig the surf tunes being played in the afternoon at pick-up. It makes me wish I could be a kid in the camp again. I highly recommend the camp.

They offer *surf boards, *SUPs, *boogey boards, leashes, wax, *wetsuit, swim gear, towels, clothes, hats, sunglasses, and beach gear. They *rent out gear. Also what sets them apart from typical surf shops is that they offer lessons (all ages) and summer camps for kids. The shop is clean, modern, well stocked and organized. The staff were helpful. Plus I happen to see the kiddos summer camp surf lessons at Santa Claus beach. I was impressed with the organization and leadership to handle the gaggle of surfing kiddos and teach 'em a thing or two .

My son had skateboarded up, I commented that he should not ride it in the shop (obviously) but was excited because there was one in the doorway. The man kinda laughed and said yeah, tha would be a bad idea. The woman looked like she was going to have a kinipshin. Overall, just super unfriendly. We were clearly not the people she wanted in her shop. Not sure who she does since they had kids beach toys and other stuff prominently displayed, and advertised a kids surf camps. But I will definitly not be signing my kids up for that one.
