Waiting a few days for the tomatoes to ripen-- hoping and expecting that they will be delicious. Very nice man. Also has kale, basil, and other greens. Highly recommended. As usual, I arrived with my clients, politely said hello and stated I was there to take photos by the Christmas trees. Christine (whom I had never met) said nothing about rules or purchase requirements and explicitly told me I could take photos. Afterward, my clients warmed up with their baby in the car and planned to cut a tree, but Christine assumed we weren't buying anything and escalated the situation for no reason. I left with my clients down the hill to take a few last shots and as I was getting into my car, Christine brought her husband Mike down in his truck to "scare me off". They flew past me, tried to block me from leaving the road, yelled at me to "never be seen on the property again," and accused me of "taking photos without buying anything" as if that were a crime. It was aggressive, threatening and completely unprofessional. This is a farm open to the public - visitors are NOT required to make a purchase just for stepping onto the property. If they have rules for photos, they can communicate them like adults instead of resorting to intimidation and theatrics. I won't be returning (for my own safety), and others should think twice before giving them business. If you do visit, apparently you'd better buy something immediately, since that seems to be their unspoken rule.

Everything from fresh veggies, mushrooms, fresh meats, fresh breads, cheeses, jams, smoothies, crafts etc. There's a few stalls to get some meals on site as well, so pick up some awesome Asian noodles and peruse the booths. Prices are reasonable and all of the vendors will greet you with a smile. Not all take cards, so bring some cash for sure. I arrived right at 9am so parking was easy. It had to be a few pounds heavy. Absolutely packed with filling. It was pricey at over $15, but the portion size was comparable to two or three regular sized pastries. Most people were friendly and we had a standout item and multiple subpar items but for us the thing that was very prevalent here was their absolute hatred of dogs. Every few feet at this OUTDOOR market they had signs proclaiming "No Dogs!" And it's not even like it was the same sign over and over. There were dozens of different signs all over. If I'm being honest, we never would have drive the hour round trip to come here if we knew we would have to leave our dog in the car. The prices were higher than expected but it's worth it so support local farmers. That being said, I am sure I saw a gentleman selling store bought pies at a markup so just be cautious and if your dog is always with you, there are lots of farm stands on the area you can visit instead of this market.

I emailed their landlord, which is the Hanover co-op and reported the issue. They said that it was the farmers market management who was responsible for maintaining the landscaping. The Norwich Farmers did not reimburse me or even respond to my emails with their insurance information. I was going to take them to court, but that would involve my insurance and I don't want my rates to go up. I used to be a customer for years as I live locally but due to their complete disregard for their customers, and horrible management I will never return. I can get what I need from the farms I buy from directly. If you value your car or drive an expensive car be aware.
