I did not want to do this as I had never been here before and I have never been asked to pre-pay for a massage. She agreed to let me pay afterwards. I asked if I could go to the restroom beforehand. The polite woman showed me to the restroom. I had been in the restroom for maybe five minutes, and someone banged on the door, and I responded "occupied." One minute later, this person banged on the door again and yelled "HURRY UP!" I wrapped up and washed my hands, and the same lady who was banging on the door yelled "you were taking too long." I asked if she was an employee there, and when she said yes, I told her that I had changed my mind and I did not want to get a massage anymore. She then asked why, and I told her that I did not like how she was yelling at me. The woman then became very aggressive and told me that I should still get a massage and that I was taking too long in the restroom. As I was walking down the stairs, she followed me yelling at me that I was rude, and I wasted their time and just needed to use the restroom. I walked out and the woman was still yelling from inside. I was greeted by Linda (whose name I learned later on) who had a very big smile on her face. I think we have met before, but don't remember where. Anyhow, I decided to do an hour massage and I was guided into room one of four. The spacing for New Massage is a bit small a first glance. The private rooms are pretty spacious...at least room I was in...which was room 1. The Massage: Linda gave me time to get ready for my massage before knocking on the door. The massage table wasn't heated, but the room was cozy and there is a portable heater in the room which Linda activated for me to make sure I wasn't cold. A large size blanket was put over me to ensure I was kept warm. Normally at a lot of massage places I have visited, a towel is used to cover up the body. Nevertheless, Linda started out with the massage warm up. This means she is going over your body to loosen up the sore/tired or overworked muscles. The pressure Linda used on me was excellent. The extra pressure she used while climbing up on the table and pressing down with her hand made it even better. Linda could have gone one step farther using the techniques of Ashiatsu Massage, but her pressure for me was good enough. Once Linda was done with the preliminaries, the choices of a massage body cream and/or oil could be used. Linda ended up using a mixture of both. Now for the people who prefer to be draped, let the massage therapist know ahead of time. Otherwise the whole sheet might be removed. Linda finished off my back with her hands, forearms and elbows Linda worked on my gluteus maximus using her hands, forearms and elbows. It was a bit intense, but felt great. Linda continued on with the legs and thighs applying the same amount of pressure as she did in the beginning. Linda switched up her tactics and went with a softer massage which put the word "relaxation" into overdrive. The body cream I think is better than the oil it seemed hold more moisture in. It was also less greasy than oil can have. Especially if oil between your virtual smile..., but (no pun intended) I digress. The front of my body was just as enjoyable as the back of my body. The biggest difference is the foot massage at the end of the massage. I could have fallen asleep, but then I wouldn't get to experience the foot massage. When it was all said and done, Linda would have used a hot towel on my lower body as she did my back, but I wanted to keep the moisture on my body. After The Massage: I forgot to mention that during the massage, music was not played and I prefer it this way. Too many place have a lot of the same music or the same few songs get played over and over and over again. Linda asked me several time during the massage if the pressure was good or if the massage is already. I could hear other women and mean groaning in appreciation of getting a great massage. Three other massage thrapist working their magic happy guests and most likely returning customers. I did not see the bathroom on my way into the massage store, but it is located right next to the stairway and by the entrance of New Massage on the second floor. I was given a bottle water after paying the $70 for the hour massage. Linda was hoping for a tip and she definitely received one. She did not complain about the tip as I have read about at other massage places. This place does not offer a free massage after 10 massages, but they do offer business cards. I did not see much about this business on their website, so it is something the Owner of this company might want to update. I will definitely come back for another enjoyable massage.

I rarely give bad reviews and am not picky. This is one of my worst experiences. We had a booking for massage for a couple for 7:00 pm on a Tuesday night. We arrived on time. No one was at the reception. The entire dimly lit unwelcome place was empty. All the doors to all the rooms were open. We were confused. After a while, a middle aged lady came out of a door by the entrance (we didn't see that door when we came in). She confirmed she knew about our booking. She asked us to wait for a little bit. Her English was poor but we tried to look at the bright side. There was no welcome. No water or tea. No music. Just a very dimly lit, sad, unwelcome, Soviet "living room". The lady disappeared into the room again without a word or any detail about why we had to wait. No news. We waited for 30 minutes. This was already a bad start to what was supposed to be a Valentine's Day gift (for me). It turned out there were two clients (or friends?) in that room. That room was set up for couple massage (with two tables). The two middle-aged ladies, both from mainland China, finished up and came out. They were chit chatting amongst themselves and talking about us. I felt very uncomfortable already but did not say anything. One lady then came to ask us what kind of room we preferred: singles or a double. Our booking was clearly for a couple massage. We reconfirmed we wanted a couple massage upon arriving. Clearly they do not speak English here. Meanwhile, the two female clients (a couple? friends? friends of the massage place?) took their sweet time packing up and dressing up. Finally they were out. After we indicated again we wanted to be together, the two ladies (apparently they only had 2 people working there) reluctantly went back to the room to clean up and get it ready for us. I am not sure they changed the sheets and towels. Finally it was our turn. After a long long wait. Were it not for the pre-paid groupon I would have left already. The two unpleasant, rough ladies once again talked amongst themselves just before the start of our massage: "Which one of us shall work on the girl and who works on the guy?" "Any difference?" Giggles. I understand Mandarin Chinese, but I did not hear or understand everything they said. From their accent I could tell they are from mainland China and uneducated. The massage was much too hard for me. Too much pressure. Painful. Not relaxing. I communicated in Mandarin and in English to no avail. She improved for a few minutes and then it was back to her old habit. She was probably a farmer? She pulled on my hair (when massaging my scalp). She messed up my hair big time. My hair was up in a horse tail. She pulled down half way my hair tie without even apologizing or showing any tenderness (she could have gently pulled down my hair tie and laid it by the side for example). It was me who had to discover the mess and let down my hair myself and put the hair tie on my wrist (all in the middle of the massage). Toward the end of the massage, she asked me to flip over to lie on my back. I reacted slowly because I didn't hear clearly what she said (broken English; followed by some kind of Mandarin Chinese). She laughed at me (to my face) talking to the other lady in the room, how I looked Chinese but did not speak Mandarin. I am NOT Chinese, but that's beside the point. How could they make rude comments either in clients' face or behind their back? We gave them each a 10% tip out of politeness. They snickered at us. What did they expect for the non-service? When I checked in, there weren't any other patrons as far as I could tell. They sort of ushered me right into a room, which was kind of odd (usually there's some paperwork and you meet w the massage therapist to talk about what you want. They also didn't even ask for my name (I suppose if I was the only early morning appointment it doesn't really matter), but still kind of odd. The massage itself was great! When you look through the reviews, they are either overwhelming positive "omg there was so much pressure it was awesome" or negative "omg there was so much pressure it was awful." Spoiler alert: they use a ton of pressure. If you like that, you will like your massage. Jenny beat the crap out of my neck and shoulders. It hurt. A lot. But I'm used to it. And could probably stand an inch taller after the fact. Will definitely be back. Since my job as a limousine driver requires a lot of sitting down, I also asked for the glutes to be massaged. The last massage I had a week ago (at another business) didn't do massage. It was a body rub with no pressure whatsoever. I needed pressure applied to my body and Coco delivered on this with precision and know how. The first 40 minutes or so I was covered and massaged through thin sheet. The sheets DID NOT smell of mildew like other places I have visited. The sheets were fresh and clean. Coco worked out the kinks in my muscles, but this was just the preliminaries. When the preliminaries were over, the sheet was moved down to my buttocks. Oil and a mix of lotion was rubbed into Coco hands before massaging my back. Coco then worked my shoulders. As instructed by me, Coco worked on my Frozen Shoulder and Arm more than my other shoulder. Coco worked on my neck and back with the same amount of care she gave me frozen shoulder. All of this steady pressure Coco was providing, is highly appreciated and extremely delightful. How I did not fall asleep during my massage is beyond me, but I enjoyed every waking moment of the massage. Coco checked on me to make sure my massage is copacetic. Since I did not wish to talk during my massage, I gave Coco a thumbs up sign. She liked this and laughed. A pleasing sound. I could hear some other men and woman getting massages, but like me, they did not wish to talk unless need be. When chitchat was in session, it kept to a minimal. *The music selection unfortunately is very limited. The same song(s) get repeated over and over again. I highly recommend updating the musical library like the new store owner has with the store* Coco as instructed spent more time on my gluteus maximus and thighs. Coco informed me that my left side buttock and thigh were extremely stiffer than the right side. This explains why sitting this past week was much more uncomfortable than weeks prior. Coco helped alleviate the tightness...stiffness in my muscles. I hope to visit here again. Hopefully not wait as long as I have next time around. The chest and stomach massage helped. The past few times I have been stomach massaged by Coco or Jennifer, I knew the next day my bowels would be cleaned out. A very pleasant bonus after a monumental massage. I decided I would get ten minutes extra add-on to my massage. The foot massage and light body massage to end the session was exquisite. Coco let me know the session was over and I thanked her. I lay there for a while thinking about getting four hands for 2 hours next time. I knew I would have to call ahead of time to set this up, but I think it will be worthwhile. I could see myself doing this for my birthday on July 15th this year. Good heavens, I will be 48...! We will see....2 hours might not be enough time. Speaking of seeing, I had extra oil on by body that I was able to remove with paper towels and/or a regular dry towel. I normally don't use a hot towel if it isn't in the same room as the massage table. Same thing applies to the hot stones. I recieved positive vibes from Wendy and decided we will come here the next weekend. Today is Saturday March 29th and we had a 3:30pm aka 15:30 appointment. I called ahead and made an appointment so there wouldn't be any surprises when we showed up. Wendy was at her station when we arrived. I noticed some things about the place had changed. I put this to the back of my mind until later. Wendy was all smiles as I explained my wife would be going first. She was lead to a room I have once been in 8 years ago. While my my wife was undressing in the room, I was lead to another room where I could sleep for an hour while waiting for my massage. This room is set up for Ashiatsu Massage; as well, as your standard massage forms. Since I had some time on my hands, I took some pictures of the room I was in. Seeing it was going to be an hour before my massage, I had time to reflect on things that have changed here. I remembered Wendy having a partner in this business, but now she seems to works alone, unless specific reasons acquire a second masseuse/therapist. I had seen at another massage place, the women had portable tablets they could use to connect with the security cameras and see who is approaching and/entering the facility. I had the idea Wendy might have this new feature in security. It turns out I was correct on this notion, but did not find out until later on. Looking at the massage table, I decided to put a barrier between myself and the sheets I would be laying on. Using paper towels, I placed them where my back and big ass would go. It's something I do from time to time. Especially if I haven't been to the place for a long time. I then undressed and turned the lights out to tried to sleep. My mind did not sleep and I could hear people in different office buildings going about their jobs. I must have fallen asleep to some degree, but not by much. I felt Wendy lightly brushing her nails against my leg to wake me up. The hour massage for my wife went by fast...or so it seems. THE MASSAGE EXPERIENCE: 3/29/25 Since I was already laying on the table and ready for my massage, Wendy did not waste any time starting my massage. Wendy started the massge at my neck and shoulders line. She started massaging me through the drape cloth, but the massage did not feel the same is hands on skin. The option of draping or no draping lies with the client and the masseuse's agreement. If both parties agree, the draping cloth was removed and a better massage could be preformed. I was asked if I wanted Deep Tissue Massage or Swedish Massage? I went with Swedish Massage. I wasn't expecting anything fancy, but Swedish Massage turned out to be more of a body rub. Especially since no pressure applied to my body. This had me thinking about the massage my wife had. As things turned out, my wife wasn't satisfied with the massage she had. My wife's massage felt like Wendy wasn't doing what she could to alleviate the pain my wife was feeling. My wife also felt Wendy was saving herself for me. I did not know this at the time, but I was hoping my wife's massage was acceptable. I was also informed the room my wife was in had mildew smell to it. My Room did not have a mildew smell...(except in a small closet. The cleaning machine needed its water changed)...If it did, then I did not pick up on it. Since catching Covid-19 back in 2021, my sense of smell hasn't been like it use to be. Wendy's massage was still enjoyable to me, because she got creative with her use of soft touch. Here's one example of what I am talking about. 90min Imagine Wendy playing different instruments and playing the tunes and speeds of the song on your body using only her fingers...songs like Don't Let Me Fall by B.o.b, Imagine by Say My Name by Destiny's Child, Sweet Dreams By Annie Lenox, John Lennon, Stand By Me by Ben E. King, Under The Bridge and Soul To Squeeze by The Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Yes, whether stimulating drums, violin, piano or the guitar, the massage felt wonderful. This is not something I have experienced before in this manner. The missed pressure I would get on the gluteus maximus or legs was sorely missed; however, Wendy made up for it with the soft touch and creative musical strokes. The one hour massage ended, but Wendy said "come back for two hours next time." I might take her up on that. I would like to complete my first card stamp for Wendy's business. Then collect on the free hour massage. I don't l know when I will be back, but it will be within this year. I will be sure to select the Deep Tissue Massage next time.

Nevertheless, the same woman that did my foot massage did 90 minutes on my body. I hope I took pictures of some of the changes in this facility. The massage was relaxing the therapist knew what she was doing to put my sore shoulder back at ease. The lady had strong hands and leg massage was outstanding. I don't remember the glutes massage, but I am sure it was good as well. I did notices the women therapist work in the office facility while the men work outside the open work area of the mall. I will be sure to come back here for another massage later on this year.

During the foot massage, he applied a large amount of Vaseline and rubbed my feet in a way that felt rushed and oddly aggressive, without explanation. When he finished, I thanked him but chose to decline the back massage and proceeded to pay. I left a tip of less than 20%, and in response, he raised his voice at me in his own language. I simply thanked him again and left quietly. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I don't plan to return.

The cameras pointed at me most likely told them too. Ms. Fancy greeted me warmly and gave off a pleasant vibe. Although I did not get a massage today, I will try them out the next time I am in Sterling Virginia. I did see one other lady walk out of a room and I saw the client who looked surprised to see me looking in his direction. The other lady had a smile on her face and gave ove a pleasant vibe as well.
