We rented #204, very nice, very clean. Sat on our patio and watched the water a lot. We used the pool, and the hot tub, very clean. The beach side units are perfect for relaxing and people watching. We spent hours on the beach. This is the perfect place to stay. I will say, I was very impressed with owner/mgr/hired person. Each day she was outside for a couple of hours with a bucket picking up trash from people on the beach. And people on the 1st floor. I will say she was very sure that each day she got everything. The last dsy I looked doen from the 2nd floor and saw cigarette butts all over the beach side of one of the 1st floor condos. I could not believe that mess. These are no smoking condos on property.

We stayed at Suntide II unit 301 and we absolutely loved this place! The description & pictures were exactly as described. The view was amazing! The short walk to the beach was very enjoyable. The Host has a closet full of beach chairs, beach toys, beach towels a large cooler with wheels & a wagon to carry everything! That shows how thoughtful the Host is. None of these extra amenities are mentioned and it was a huge surprise when I saw them as they were so convenient & saved us money. I would definitely rent this place again! The nights were peaceful and enjoyable. This is a great place for a romantic getaway or a family vacay with small children even a nice calm relaxing place for retired people as the place is accommodating with handicap features. The location is just perfect! It's surrounded by many restaurants, gift shops, attractions, grocery store, pharmacy even a Starbucks is close by for all the coffee lovers. I stayed 4 days but you easily need 7-10 days to be able to enjoy the place.

We loved this condominium complex. The unit was decorated very nice. Very comfortable and relaxing. Big balcony which we spent alot of time on listening to the ocean. Highly recommend unit 505.

Suntide II Suite 309 BEST TIME EVER!

1st Time! Best time ever! This was my 1st time ever to South Padre Islands. Our stay was from Arrival Date: 3/30/2019 with the Departure Date: 4/1/2019. It was better than expected. We stayed here in Suite 309! All I got to say if I had the money, I would have never departed! The Suite was super clean, comfortable, peaceful, pleasant, welcoming, personable, and I could just keep going! They were able to extend my check out. I was so grateful. Every restaurant and store we went to was just Uniates away. Right on the beach! I was able to open my window fall asleep and wake up to the sweet sound of ocean waves! I will definitely be back! Questions and concerns were answered promptly! These people here are on there A game baby! So get there and enjoy it! I know I'll be back same suite too no doubt!

The place was very clean and comfortable and the beaches were not crowded and that was in July. My family of 4 enjoyed our stay. Walking distance to restaurants and other shops!

On both my trips to South Padre island I have stayed at these condos. They're in a great location, right on the beach. The units themselves are, I believe, individually owned and furnished so each is unique and comes with its own pluses and minuses. The unit I stayed in two years ago was the same that I most recently stayed in... I would love to rate this place more highly but unfortunately the same issues remained as on my first trip. A toilet in the front bathroom wasn't bolted down and the heat/air conditioning doesn't flow well into the bedrooms (problem if you visit in the winter when it is pretty cold and windy and night). All the units feature full kitchens but varying levels of utensils/kitchen items. This is a huge advantage for large families who vacation here. Towels can be exchanged before 11 each morning although there's no daily maid service. There are large rubbish bins on each floor so you don't have to run your trash downstairs. And although they offer Wi-Fi, it has very poor connectivity. I would still recommend these condos to anyone looking to stay on the island due to size, location, and convenience. But I'd recommend the staff look into general upkeep.

While views may look great online, the reality is far from luxurious & NOT family friendly. We paid $1,835 for a 3-night stay and were treated with complete disrespect and humiliation. We came to relax and celebrate a birthday, especially meaningful after recently losing my father just four weeks ago. Instead, we were met with rude staff, false promises, and a shocking lack of professionalism. At midnight, security followed us to our room and entered without permission to count the number of people inside. They claimed the presence of my 8-month-old grandbaby was a violation and used that to evict us at 12:30 AM, giving us only 20 minutes to vacate the property. It was humiliating, degrading, and deeply unsettling--especially after paying nearly $1,900. To top it off, they are charging a $250 fee for having us evicted. Does this sound logical? To this day, the general manager has not contacted us. All communication has been filtered through a rude receptionist and security guard who treated us with zero empathy. We are a hardworking, professional, and respectful family of six who wanted to unwind and celebrate. Instead, we were treated like criminals. Do yourself a favor--stay anywhere else. We've stayed in properties like Saida Towers, Margaritaville, Courtyard, Isla Grand, and Sea Breeze. (Unfortunately, this was a last-minute booking, and I couldn't find the availability I needed) But you will experience better service, more convenient amenities, and far more respectful treatment based on my experience. Thank you for taking the time to read my post. Here are other unpleasant issues with the property: * EVICTION IS THEIR MIDDLE NAME; THEY WILL THREATEN & EVICT RIGHT AWAY WITHOUT A WARNING! (20 mins even if you're all in bed already) * You are being watched 24/7 & particular staff members oversee counting how many people are in your group. * Guests are not allowed to use the gym. (OWNERS ONLY) * The theater has never had a showing. * The game room is nearly empty, with some non-functional machines, a strong, musty odor, and inadequate air conditioning. * PARKING is free for guests; however, please note that the walk is quite a distance. * The outdoor bar is just for show--it's never open. Instead, workers sit under it watching female guests sunbathe, which made many of us uncomfortable. * My room had stained pillows and an unwashed comforter. * You must take out your trash even though you pay over $120 for the cleaning fee. * If you're a coffee or adult beverage drinker, good luck or walk to Margaritaville; they have a super-friendly staff and a gorgeous, clean facility with great music, ambiance, and some delicious coffee.

From our 22nd floor room, the Bridgepoint condos offer beautiful views of the South Padre beachline on one side and the Queen Isabella Memorial Causeway on the other. The staff was very attentive to our inquiries. The negatives that I found were: (I) it seems that our condo was last updated in the 1990s, especially the kitchen and bathroom fixtures; (II) the hallway leading from the living room to the bedrooms was mirrored, the positioning of the light switches and their fixtures were definite headscratchers; and (III) the unit had (4) mounted TVs (each with their own (2) respective remotes -- some of the TVs operated with only one remote but some needed two. The condo provided a covered parking garage for residents | guests, greenspace, and swimming pool area with hot tubs.

It was fully furnished and anything that we think we wanted was already provided. Our hostess was Rosanna and she provide everything we needed. The kitchen was fully furnished from silverware, dishes, coffee maker, blender etc... The pantry had coffee, tea, creamer, cups, garbage bags, paper towels, broom, mop the list goes on. Each bedroom had flat TV's with Spectrum cable and various streaming services ( you would need you log in info). The living room had a larger tv with a small patio right off from there. The best thing about all of this beside being close to the beach, was the mattresses in both rooms. These were by far the best mattresses that we have ever slept on at any place that we have stayed. They were so comfortable that I asked what, where can I get one. We slept so well every night. I would recommend to stay here whenever you are in South Padre.
