Not a bad store, I worked here for a short time and then I had to get back out on the road truck driving due to me having my own company. I would highly recommend them for employment, though everyone is pretty friendly from what I have seen and worked with And the store is nice and clean. read more

I just wrote a big long positive review only to find that upon trying to post I had to sign up for yelp. Well, I did that, came back here, and that fantastic post is not here! I wish Yelp would inform you that you need to sign up BEFORE you start writing!! Anyway, rant done! Super One Bonners is awesome! Folks, if you want good service, be a good customer. Be the one to smile and show appreciation and say something pleasant. You will get a positive response 99% of the time. No one is perfect, so if your experience was less than perfect, give the folks there the benefit of the doubt that they may be having a bad day, just like we all have. So I think the folks there are great and very friendly! I love chatting a bit at the check out and if I find something funny to say I will get a good laugh back, or at least a smile! And if you need something and workers are talking between each other, wait a bit, and then cut in and say excuse me, could you help me? And they will! They will bend over backwards to find what you are looking for! Also, I think they appreciate it if you can remember their names. I try to do that and when I come in I greet whoever is nearby using their name. They will smile...you may have made their day! They had a sore back, a headache, working an extra shift and are dead tired...just a friend smile, and a word of hello I think makes a heart just feel a little bit lighter....anyway, I feel it's worth the effort. Be the one to make someone elses day! The food selection is just as good here as at any of the other stores. Prices have gone up, but that's not Super One's fault, but the economy in general. I love the cinnamon rolls in the bakery...buy them all the time, though because I have to watch my sugar intake, I do have to scrap off much of the icing...but is it GOOD! And the Cyrus pies are awesome, too! I'd never had a marionberry pie before and what a treat that was! Being from the Midwest and enjoying pasties in Michigan, I gotta say though, that the one an only item I wish tasted better are the pasties made in Montana that they sell frozen here. Nothing can beat a homemade pasty from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan! But hey, they are doing the best they can to provide us "foreigners" from outside the northwestern area of the States something from "home", you know? I give them an A for effort! And again, Bonners IS a friendly town, and the folks at Super One fit that description! We've lived here five years and feel so blessed to be here! It's gorgeous and the mood is upbeat especially if you can put a smile on your face, too, and look for the good and pass by an unhappy experience...chock it up to life! No one is perfect!! read more

We have been to this store several times & this time will be the last. There were three of us buying groceries together. We tried to ask an employee for help finding an item but they just ignored us & walked off. We checked out in 2 separate lanes & were treated very rude like our large purchases were an inconvenience for the checkers & the baggers. Does putting chips, bread, & canned food products in the same bag sound right? I'm glad we have other grocery store options where a smile & kind word is part of the normal interaction. read more

The selection and service are always great here! Not sure what the other whiny yelpers are crying about. Maybe go back to Commifornia where the checkers and baggers massage your "feelings" while charging you for plastic grocery bags. read more

My wife and I were purchasing our groceries which included beer and wine. The young girl that was bagging our groceries looked at the cashier and they both rolled their eyes as the alcohol was rung up. Judge much????? We always avoid the bagger and cashier. I will not go thru their line no matter what!!! We are local and mostly drive out of the area to do our shopping. read more

First time visiting Bonner's Ferry in a snowstorm (we don't have those where we live) and we stopped at Super1Foods for some snacks. I normally don't review grocery stores but this one stood out because the staff were so friendly and we felt so welcome here. Very clean store and good selection of snacks and sodas. I found my absolute favorite, orange vanilla coke (which for some reason is no longer sold in California) which made me very happy. read more

Never again. We are residents of Bonner's Ferry, and usually avoid this place since grocery outlet opened. At 7am Monday morning I went in to grab some snacks and a drink for my drive. First I was totally ignored while trying to locate an item, ok busy stocking shelves, I then approached 2 employees who were chatting in the isle and politely waited for them to conclude their conversation as they knew I was waiting but ignored my presence, and finally feeling pretty invisible, I went to the check out. I was determined to have a positive interaction, but Tina on the register was not going to let that happen. She said nothing to me so I said, "How is your day so far?" She literally looked up at me with a scowl and said nothing. Feeling pretty defeated, I paid and was about to walk away, when I hear her greet the handsome young man behind me, a very cheerful, "Hi, how are you today?" I was pretty peeved that people go out of their way to be rude to others and in the retail business? But I told 5 people about this that day, and they all said that Super 1 foods was notorious for being rude. So there is a history of this? What is up with the management? Never again. read more

Things I love about this Super 1: 1- The prices are good. I drive here from Montana to do my shopping and I save a lot of money doing that. 2- It's open 24 hours. This is a big thing for me too. I need a place that is open when it is dark and up here, it gets dark very late during the summer time. 3- The produce section is pretty decent. It's a large selection with a nice display and it has a LOT to choose from. 4- The specialty section is large and nice! I really need this considering I am Gluten Free and allergic to a lot of foods. They have a very good selection to choose from and some of the items I cannot find anywhere else. They even have chocolate So Delicious Coconut milk that I have trouble finding elsewhere. 5- The workers are nice and polite, even at 1 in the morning. 6- The location is easy to get to. It's right off the highway so it's easy to find. A plus in my book! 7- This may be silly but I like that no one has ever complained about us eating in the parking lot. When we are done shopping, we set up a quick food making area on the truck of the car and eat. We don't eat out, so eating what we buy is it for us. We've had a few funny looks, but mostly everyone smiles or laughs at us as we fill up before we hit the road going home. Great store! Great prices! Love it! read more

Driving through Bonners Ferry late at night, or early in the morning finding something open is a bit tough. Super 1 foods was not only open, but the staff was friendly. They have a fairly nice selection of produce in good shape, and it was a decent size grocery. Their donuts are decent, the wine, beer and meat selection all good. There snacks are what you expect in a grocery store. what I did find that was a pleasant surprise, and this is the 1st place I've seen it, was jalepeno bacon jerky. Not only the gateway drug for veggie lovers, but spiced to boot! I am such a fan of this place i stopped here on purpose on my way back through. And though I only come through Bonners Ferry a couple of times a year, I will be sure to stop here again. read more
