I made a huge mistake by not checking the reviews before booking a room. Based on the price ($150), I made the assumption that it was budget, but decent. I was wrong. What I didn't like? Area looked dangerous Minimal parking near hotel Sticky floors Refrig didn't work Dungeon lighting Electrical outlet in lamp on nightstand was broken so I had to unplug clock in wall to charge phone. Noisy all night Extremely old & worn fabrics in room which made it feel unclean. TV remote didn't always work. There was a card identifying the TV channels, but there was no guide on the screen letting you know what was playing so had to change the channel 100 times to see everything that was showing. Breakfast-Slim pickings, OJ machine broken. What did I like? ............. I'm still thinking!

They say "you get what you pay for" but this was MUCH worse than what we payed for. Spent around $100 and I have stayed at other motel 6 and super 8 type places and this WAS THE WORST. I've stayed in $30 places better than this. As soon as we get there everything smells like cigarette smoke, no comforter, just a thin blanket, and no hot water. Then we started seeing cockroaches in the bathroom! Only got a video of a small one, but there were others. Then because it was dark we didn't see it until morning, but there was period blood on the sheets that we slept on all night. HUMAN BLOOD. When we asked for %50 off or a full refund, they came and saw the blood and showed them the videos and they were only willing to offer %10 off and then after a while finally %20. Not enough for us to not warn other potential customers or never go back again. STEER CLEAR.

This super 8 was terrible. From the get go the experience was atrocious. The Indian guy at the front desk was rude. We asked to get additional towels and pillows and he said "you should already have them in the room". I let him know we needed pillows and he said "come back at 9am" that when house keeping can help you. The whole time he was on his personal phone having a separate conversation via Bluetooth. His inability to get anything done was as shocking as our room. Save yourself the headache and book elsewhere. We literally walked into our rooms which reeked of smoke and walked out. Btw we had asked for a non smoking room. The sheets had blood/period stains on them. The room was dirty and disgusting. I wouldn't be surprised if they had bed bugs. Paul Patel you're as useful as a knitted condom..

That must've been a shitty movie...am I right?

ZERO STARS IF I COULD. I'd like to begin this by saying, I'm sure my room has been in either cops or an adult film. When you walk in after touching a door handle that must've been in a horror film, you're greeted by the breath taking view of your room. The bed, oh that sweet comforting stained piece of heaven. Nothing screams welcome home friend then laying on a used mattress and sheets that will give you night terrors as well as mental issues. Bed bugs also greet you as part of your experience. You can always test your luck in a good ole fashion smell n' lick test. You're a winner for even trying. If that's not satisfying enough, now let's venture to the restroom. Now, this porcelain throne isn't just for any soul and person of heart & mind, this palace is a space specifically for people who they can handle spicy food and convinced themselves in their 1999 Honda Civic that no pepper, heat, or dark matter would destroy their insides. So this place has probably seen submissions from the human body that science has yet discovered. I must admit unholy things have taken place here. Moving along to the furniture. When you set a gaze upon the area you are to rest your bones, the seat cushion that someone was kind enough to trace the country of Australia with their mud butt. Yes, sweat ass and hey, they might given you poop mixed in so of course. Finally, parking. Now you can pick from a select spaces where you can be lucky enough to find someone hanging out in their car or even better, someone sleeping in the backseat with their windows down! In all seriousness, please avoid this place at all costs. No amount of money should convince a human being to seek a reservation.

I booked a room here for 2 nights while I went to Denver for a personal matter because of the location & the price was decent. I stayed there for only one night and checked out early the next morning and asked for the $60 deposit fee back that they charge you at check-in. The room is dark/dank, barely any lighting. My tub got clogged when I tried to take a shower, there was a huge stain on my bathroom door with a terrible paint job. I was in a non-smoking room and my bed sheets had multiple cigarette burn holes. Spiderwebs in corners of the room and a couple of moths got into my room somehow and my window was completely shut. Walls were dirty & stained as well as the lamp shades. The room's telephone didn't work. I didn't bother using the fridge or microwave. I stayed on the second floor far away from the front desk and I heard doors slamming all night, I went solo and didn't really feel safe to come out of my room until morning. If I were you don't make the mistake of booking here to save some money and just get a better hotel room somewhere else for a few more dollars.

Hotel smelled terrible because they let pets stay there for only $10 lol. Also smells damp and like cigarettes. Recently updated so bareable but they need to clean up. Tv didn't even work either.

Absolutely disgusting. Black mold everywhere, stains everywhere. Stains on the bed stuff. Nastiest hotel ever.

Worst place I've ever stayed in!!! This mouse jumped on my bed last night after I changed rooms 3 times for other reasons!!

WORST PLACE EVER!!! They have mice! After changing rooms 3 times, I had a mouse jump on my bed last night! I posted a picture of said mouse. It's disgusting and definitely DO NOT recommend this place!! Disgusting!

The location really can't be beat. You're right in the heart of LoDo. Coors Field is a few blocks from the hotel and Union Station (which connects directly to Denver Airport) is only about a 5 minute walk away. Tons of restaurants, bars, and things to do are all within walking distance, which makes it extremely convenient. When booking, I asked for a high floor, quiet room so I could work. Upon check-in, they honored that request and also upgraded my room from a Journeyman to an Innovator Suite which I greatly appreciated. That upgrade definitely elevated the stay! The Innovator Suite was fantastic. It had two queen beds, two TVs, a full sofa, wet bar, dining table, flexible workspace, and city views overlooking Denver's LoDo District. The bathroom had a large soaking tub, which I had to take advantage off. There's no balcony and while the wet bar includes a small fridge, it's not really functional for anything beyond drinks as there's no space for leftovers or larger items. You also get a token per night to redeem for a free drink at the bar during happy hour, plus free drip coffee in the mornings. Other perks include free churros during social hour, a courtesy car service within a 2 mile radius, and discounts at various shops. There's also a fitness center, although I didn't use it. There were some things missing though: no pool, no spa, housekeeping is by request only, and no breakfast included. Service throughout was excellent. There's 24 hour front desk service and everyone I interacted with was cheerful, helpful, and kind. Overall, a strong stay with great service, a fantastic room upgrade, and an excellent location, even if a few expected amenities were missing for the price. If I had to come back to Denver and the company was covering the bill, I would stay again. The location really can't be beat. If I were coming for a leisure trip with a similar budget, I'd probably look for a hotel with a pool and spa instead. This hotel is best suited for people who want to experience LoDo nightlife, catch a game, or just be right in the middle of everything downtown. The room I was upgraded to was probably much more expensive than what I actually paid, which definitely improved the experience. I'm not sure I would feel the same way if I had stayed in the original room I booked. 4.5 stars rounded down.

We stayed for three nights, and booked with a third party site, and it cost about $355 per night with tax. The hotel is located downtown and not far from Union Station, which made getting in from the airport via train very easy. From there, we were also able to catch a bus to Boulder for a day trip without any hassle. The hotel is within walking distance (about 10-15 minutes) of most downtown attractions, including bars, restaurants, and Coors Field. Anything farther was just a short car ride away. The rooms were spacious and well- designed, contemporary but still comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was large. We also checked out the gym during our stay, which was bigger than expected and had a good mix of cardio machines and free weights. We did not end up dining at the hotel restaurant, but we did enjoy the Kimpton happy hour around 5pm, which was a nice perk and a fun way to unwind before heading out for the evening. Overall, a great option if you are staying in Denver, would recommend.

Valet parking is at $63 per day, so fairly pricey. The Wi-Fi is not working - super slow on the download as they had network problems for the entire two days of our stay. Since we book with Amex we had the $100 per room credit which is a great perk that we used for our dinner at their Italian restaurant. They changed us in a larger room as soon as they could and we do appreciate the attention. So overall a good experience with some minuses.

Breakfast is served daily, it's supposed to be until 10, I would leave to drop my son off and be back at 0945 and daily they would be cleaning out the food options. The food was hot or miss with quality, and sometimes there were apples or sometimes bananas, nothing consistent. The first 5 days the cereal was Cheerios and labeled gluten free, the other container had lucky charms and was labeled as Chex gluten free. Thank goodness my child knew that it was lucky charms and indeed gluten. The internet was spotty, I was working from the premises the entire time and often had to use my own hotspot. The washing machine for guest use requires quarters, which you have to buy from the front desk with cash. Two times the washer broke during use and I had to bag soaking wet clothes to hand over to maintenance to take to be washed. There is only one washer and dryer. Very disappointing for a long length of stay. Also in the age of technology there are several hotels that laundry is managed with an app, allowing me to pay via app and see how much long is left and if the machines are available. There is a lack of trash receptacles in the hotel. There are none on each floor by the elevator. Myself as well as others on our floor would leave a bag of trash outside of our room daily as we don't want our room to smell like the food we ate all day/night. On our first full day here we took it down to look for a trash can and the one outside the front doors where people unload their vehicle was overflowing, we noted this multiple days of our stay. Housekeeping were friendly in the halls, they service rooms once every 3 days. Since I was working in the room and I kept the room clean we used the sign on the door to opt to have them come when we were ready. If I saw them in the halls it was easy to get trash bags, towels and cups. One day we requested service and sat in the lobby working all day and they never came by. Keep in mind it's a refresh, our bed was already made and we keep our room clean, I just wanted a tidy of the bathroom counter, towels etc. I had to reach out to the front desk to ask around 415 for service but it needed to be quick because we were coming back to the room. They were able to oblige and serviced it quickly. The refrigerators are very small and not cold, perhaps an option in some rooms for people with lengthier stays to have a larger refrigerator and freezer options. We couldn't purchase any frozen items for our lengthy stay with only a small fridge. The location is nice, easy to get to anywhere on campus or to the downtown area, performing arts area etc. several Ubers are often in the area for further driving needs. They had other types of food, obviously, but steak was in plentiful abundance over anything. The housekeeping staff was amazing and on top of their game. The room quality was very good and spacious; larger than most hotels' suites. The in-room bar and mini-fridge were not free despite being labeled an "honor bar." I'm not cheap; I have no issue paying. My issue is the deceptive marketing of the so-called honor bar. The room's furniture was not cheap, but it did appear tacky with the illusion of being of quality. On the positive side, the staff were polite and attentive, and the room was cleaned while I was out. The view was also very impressive. Overall, with all things considered, I'd pick a different hotel; there are better hotels in the immediate area with a lower price tag and the spa is not worth it, despite its attentive and fantastic service.
