My first Hyatt hotel experience. And it was amazing. Mani was at the desk and welcomed us. This hotel is great. A lovely view of the mountains. Our hotel was huge .... it was a suite with everything you need to feel at home. Only ick.. was breakfast. Options were grim.. For proteins/ meats only pork sausage . Not much gluten free options. The scrambled eggs... it would nice to know what they were made out of. The sign said gf and vegetarian. They had cereals and milk options, im glad they had almond milk. They have a nice bar and HH specials. Definitely coming back .

Seeking a hotel close to the Convention Center for my annual GABF downtown stay-cation Hyatt Place checked all the boxes and then some this year. Location, location, location. This was clearly a very high priority for me. I was seeking a place to rest my head, it was a must to be in walking distance from the Convention Center. Hyatt Place fit the bill and then some. My room even had a view of the convention center! Lovely. It's also super centrally located to take in tons of other downtown attractions. After a long four hours spent pouring beer, you really need a soft bed. Dare I say, this was the best hotel bed I think I've ever slept in? I know it's a bold statement, but it's true! In all honestly, the whole room was plush and cozy. It was well broken up into a sleeping and living/hangout area. Everything was well-thought-out. All the space was used well and maximized both the room and the view. I could easily see myself staying here for an extended stay. They offer up a bar in the lobby, a wonderful continental breakfast that varies entrées daily, pool, workout room, and so much more! They even offered to hold my bags while I wrapped up my last shift over at the convention center. Hyatt Place nailed it! I'll gladly be looking into booking next year's downtown stay-cation here. **Pro Tip: They do offer an onsite valet, but it's a little pricey. There are several pay parking lots nearby that may fit the budget better.

I'm a Marriott girl but dang, Hyatt pulling out all the stops at this location! Not only do they have a free breakfast buffet but they have a spread that will make anyone happy with a rotating entree selection. When I dined they have chorizo, chilaquiles along with more standard American fare plus the drip coffee was flowing endlessly! The room was surprisingly quiet for being right by the convention center and denver hijinx and the blackout curtains were a life saver. Maybe it was me working GABF right before, maybe it was the blackout curtains, we will never know. But I do know I got one of the best nights of hotel sleep I've had in awhile. They have a room you can check your bags in to if you need to check out but want to meander around downtown. Staff was courteous and happy to help plus in true Denver fashion, pups are allowed! I'm not sure if I'm ready to turn into a Hyatt girl but seriously considering it after my stay here!

Amazing staff and service. Special thanks to the weekend bartender Douglas who worked solo but didn't miss a beat of ensuring every guest was served. From the complimentary breakfast to the assistance of the front desk staff - especially Will - who helped us navigate around town.

I had higher expectations from Hyatt House. It was loud in the room and I got the worst two nights sleep I've had in a long time unfortunately. There was a loud clicking noise in the bathroom every morning (pipes maybe?) but there is no sleeping through this noise. We also didn't get and service to our room, so we quickly ran out of toilet paper, tissue and towels and had to call to ask for more. Our trash bins are also overflowing since we didn't get cleaning service. I mean, it's a place to stay and it's conveniently located by the convention center... but.. there are other place to stay that are quieter!

I was overall disappointed with the Hyatt House. That said it is in a great location if you want to be downtown. It has a 1980s vibe and my mattress sagged and felt like it was an 80s baby. The housekeeping was unusually "lite." They did not pick up old towels and did not bother to vacuum between nights (I know this because my spilled broken chips remained on the rug throughout my stay). The breakfast offered was typical of Hyatt Place and the area was spacious. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Overall very average.

Beautiful view of the skyline from the room!

This one truly one of the nicest places I've stayed as I've traveled around the U.S. From the start, staff members were very friendly and helpful. The premises was very clean, modern and secure. It created a very inviting environment. I had a room on a high floor and it was just spectacular. A great view of the city skyline, equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, lounge space, comfortable bed and a modern shower. Parking on the street was surprisingly easy on a Friday night. You could even pay for parking from your phone, so you didn't have to get up early to throw quarters in. Given the quality of the stay, including a great view from the room, the cost was very reasonable. Rooms in Denver on a Friday night can be very expensive, but it wasn't too bad here. I had a wonderful experience here and I'd definitely come back!

Decent hotel in the downtown area. We were able to walk around downtown for dinner and it wasn't too bad of a walking distance. Room was decent with a sitting area. You do need your room key to enter the hotel entrance. There are two elevators, since they were practicing Covid protocols they only allowed each parties to enter the elevators. There were sometimes a line to get to your room. One of the elevators did have hand sanitizer inside the elevator, which was a nice touch. The first room we got we notice it was a bit dirty, so we told the front desk receptionist and they offered us another room. We did have to wait a while for our new room to be check by a manger. Bed and pillow are decent and comfortable for the night. There was no view from our window which was disappointing. There is overnight parking in there parking garage for a price. Parking is tight and limited amount of spots available.

    Damaged car by valet service

BEWARE! DO NOT USE VALET!! Valet damaged my rental car and gave me ZERO notice of damage. Luckily we took picture of our car the night before at dinner so we could remember our parking spot- shows no damage. Next morning we found rear-driver side damage to car. See pictures. Went straight to Hyatt front desk and they say they cannot help me since valet is a 3rd party- ******Hyatt, valet is charged at YOUR front desk, they are at YOUR entrance. They are YOUR 3rd party. Front desk points me to valet staff to figure it out ******* 2 pm: no answer from off site valet manager. I sent text and left a voice mail. I explain to front desk this is highly inconvenient, there is nobody on site that can help me- Hyatt or valet. I'm told by front desk I will be contacted either by valet manager or their team. I go on with my day. 9 pm: No returned calls or texts. I go back to front desk. I'm told that the valet manager let their team know that I will be contacted & that his shift starts at 11 pm. Front desk won't help me, says over and over again valet is a 3rd party and Hyatt can't help me figure this out, Go chase the valet manager on your own he told me he would get to you. Valet says their investigation will take weeks. Rental t&c says unauthorized driver will void all agreements. Lesson learned.

You get what you pay for. Highlights: * reasonable nightly rate can be found on their website or through a third party. * microwave, stove, and refrigerator were in a good function. * corner room ( we were in room 1000) was quiet and we could play music at higher volumes without bothering neighbors. * staff were friendly and were quick to act on any housekeeping related requests. * seamless check in and check out process. Cons: * parking is horrible. There is a nightly rate of $25 but one could barely find parking in their garage and if one did, the stalls were way too small. Very challenging to have to squeeze so tightly in between other vehicles * rooms have no balcony. Would've been nice to enjoy some fresh air in the AM or PM without having to go downstairs. * walls are thin and we could hear everything as we passed by other rooms. * elevators are slow. Probably not a good idea in an event of an emergency. We found ourselves using the stairs quite a few times. * the area is very sketch. Regardless of the time of the day, there were people hanging outside of the hotel doing all sorts of weird things (drugs, selling, panhandling, etc.) * lots of high and drunk people hanging out around the hotel.

Stayed here 3 nights for a business trip at the convention center. Check in was fast and friendly. The hotel employee even walked me to the elevator which was unnecessary but so kind! No room service at this hotel but there is some food available in the lobby/bar area and it's really easy to door dash food if you don't want to leave the hotel. Room was quite large and I enjoyed having a big corner couch to stretch out on. Bed was comfortable. 14th floor view of the mountains was stunning! Quick walk to the convention center. The hotel was packed due to my conference and I never had to wait long for the elevator. The gym was kind of small and not adequate for a bunch of type A finance people. I'd imagine under normal circumstances you could get a machine at 5:30am. Noise level at night was low. Breakfast in the AM was nothing fancy but hit the spot. Eggs, potatoes, toast, cereal, yogurt, etc. would stay at this location again!

The location really can't be beat. You're right in the heart of LoDo. Coors Field is a few blocks from the hotel and Union Station (which connects directly to Denver Airport) is only about a 5 minute walk away. Tons of restaurants, bars, and things to do are all within walking distance, which makes it extremely convenient. When booking, I asked for a high floor, quiet room so I could work. Upon check-in, they honored that request and also upgraded my room from a Journeyman to an Innovator Suite which I greatly appreciated. That upgrade definitely elevated the stay! The Innovator Suite was fantastic. It had two queen beds, two TVs, a full sofa, wet bar, dining table, flexible workspace, and city views overlooking Denver's LoDo District. The bathroom had a large soaking tub, which I had to take advantage off. There's no balcony and while the wet bar includes a small fridge, it's not really functional for anything beyond drinks as there's no space for leftovers or larger items. You also get a token per night to redeem for a free drink at the bar during happy hour, plus free drip coffee in the mornings. Other perks include free churros during social hour, a courtesy car service within a 2 mile radius, and discounts at various shops. There's also a fitness center, although I didn't use it. There were some things missing though: no pool, no spa, housekeeping is by request only, and no breakfast included. Service throughout was excellent. There's 24 hour front desk service and everyone I interacted with was cheerful, helpful, and kind. Overall, a strong stay with great service, a fantastic room upgrade, and an excellent location, even if a few expected amenities were missing for the price. If I had to come back to Denver and the company was covering the bill, I would stay again. The location really can't be beat. If I were coming for a leisure trip with a similar budget, I'd probably look for a hotel with a pool and spa instead. This hotel is best suited for people who want to experience LoDo nightlife, catch a game, or just be right in the middle of everything downtown. The room I was upgraded to was probably much more expensive than what I actually paid, which definitely improved the experience. I'm not sure I would feel the same way if I had stayed in the original room I booked. 4.5 stars rounded down.

The first 5 days the cereal was Cheerios and labeled gluten free, the other container had lucky charms and was labeled as Chex gluten free. Thank goodness my child knew that it was lucky charms and indeed gluten. The internet was spotty, I was working from the premises the entire time and often had to use my own hotspot. The washing machine for guest use requires quarters, which you have to buy from the front desk with cash. Two times the washer broke during use and I had to bag soaking wet clothes to hand over to maintenance to take to be washed. There is only one washer and dryer. Very disappointing for a long length of stay. Also in the age of technology there are several hotels that laundry is managed with an app, allowing me to pay via app and see how much long is left and if the machines are available. There is a lack of trash receptacles in the hotel. There are none on each floor by the elevator. Myself as well as others on our floor would leave a bag of trash outside of our room daily as we don't want our room to smell like the food we ate all day/night. On our first full day here we took it down to look for a trash can and the one outside the front doors where people unload their vehicle was overflowing, we noted this multiple days of our stay. Housekeeping were friendly in the halls, they service rooms once every 3 days. Since I was working in the room and I kept the room clean we used the sign on the door to opt to have them come when we were ready. If I saw them in the halls it was easy to get trash bags, towels and cups. One day we requested service and sat in the lobby working all day and they never came by. Keep in mind it's a refresh, our bed was already made and we keep our room clean, I just wanted a tidy of the bathroom counter, towels etc. I had to reach out to the front desk to ask around 415 for service but it needed to be quick because we were coming back to the room. They were able to oblige and serviced it quickly. The refrigerators are very small and not cold, perhaps an option in some rooms for people with lengthier stays to have a larger refrigerator and freezer options. We couldn't purchase any frozen items for our lengthy stay with only a small fridge. The location is nice, easy to get to anywhere on campus or to the downtown area, performing arts area etc. several Ubers are often in the area for further driving needs. Over all of we came to Denver for a long stay I might consider staying here but would look at options with better amenities for food and wash. For a short stay it would meet my needs.

I didn't end up using it but loved the idea. *Bathroom setup with a separate vanity that had excellent lighting and even a steamer (!!). We had a courtyard view overlooking the patio bar. It was a little noisy on Saturday night, but the bar doesn't stay open too late. Beyond that, the hotel itself was impressively quiet - we didn't hear other guests at all. Overall, a stylish, comfortable, and thoughtful stay. Would absolutely return.

Was there for an event. The lobby was so pretty with the decor. Love the floral display and the…read moresweeping staircase. Clear signage showed us the way and the coat racks were a nice touch. The ballroom we were in was well lit but not too bright that it hurt your eyes. The table was nicely laid and even with the salad and dessert on it, there was enough space. The servers were polite and helpful. I appreciated that they brought me tea while serving coffee. The option was appreciated since usually I don't get an after dinner beverage if it's not coffee. The food served was delicious. The salad a nice mix of textures and tastes. The short rib tender and flavorful. And the dessert was light without the icing on top. The audio visual system worked well and we could hear the speakers clearly. Many attendees found parking in structures or lots around the hotel. But there is a valet option and charging stations for electric vehicles. I believe you can self park but I'm not sure. I parked in a nearby garage. The women's restroom has a little alcove area with a baby changing table and seating. Clean and well stocked, it was fabulous. A lot of my opinions about a location is based on their restrooms and this one impressed me. I would like to come again to experience more of the hotel.

The services were available but were not actively proffered. On the other hand, their spa was utterly fantastic! The hotel food was lackluster and focused on steak over anything else. They had other types of food, obviously, but steak was in plentiful abundance over anything. The housekeeping staff was amazing and on top of their game. The room quality was very good and spacious; larger than most hotels' suites. The in-room bar and mini-fridge were not free despite being labeled an "honor bar." I'm not cheap; I have no issue paying. My issue is the deceptive marketing of the so-called honor bar. The room's furniture was not cheap, but it did appear tacky with the illusion of being of quality. On the positive side, the staff were polite and attentive, and the room was cleaned while I was out. The view was also very impressive. Overall, with all things considered, I'd pick a different hotel; there are better hotels in the immediate area with a lower price tag and the spa is not worth it, despite its attentive and fantastic service.
