Stay for the decrepit property, questionable service, and lousy sleep from the obnoxious neighbors making noise. I wish I can give this hotel 0 stars. We visited gerogetown in December, and this hotel is doing a horrible job hosting. One big problem is the heater, the thermal sensor is installed somewhere wrong, it causes the heater to be on and off all night. This created an extremely uncomfortable situation to sleep. In the night when heater is on, the room become so dry, and so noisy. I have had three night stayed here and every night is horrible. I kept getting up to turn the temperature down，but in the end, I had to shut the whole unit down. It just unbearable. If you are thinking of booking this hotel with your vacation, think AGAIN. You would probably ruin your vacation. read more

Im unsure why this Super 8 doesnt have more stars. Made a reservation on priceline. Had no problem checking in. Asked for 2 beds, and it was an extra $7.00 not bad. The room was great with a fridge and comfortable beds. Check in was a breeze. And the clerk was friendly. We checked in late without incident. They have a pool table you can use for free. And a continental breakfast, Standard variety. The shower was clean and nice bathroom area with a big tub, I will agree the walls are very thin. You could hear water flowing down from the in room above, And hear the people next to you. I will stay here again, but would request a room on the upper floor. read more

This place is nestled up in the rockies and makes for a very quiet night. The rooms are clean, and fairly large (albeit a tiny bit dated). There's lots of storage and internet is great. Breakfast is served early - pastries, cereals, and waffles along with juices and coffee. Friendly staff. The parking is around back and there is plenty of room. read more

Staying at this Super 8 for approximately 12 and some days. Here is my 2 cents. 1. The housekeeper looked me in the face and told me she was going to service the room. She DID NOT!!!!! After no service (agreement made with management) for 6 days, I was out of toilet paper, clean towels, and garbage was stacked up. 2. The room was extremely dirty upon checking in. Dust all over the walls and not vacumed properly. 3. Extremely dated. TV was probably 20+ years old. 4. Front desk was unable to provide quarters for the single washing machine and dryer they have on premise. 5. Asked numerous times for a package that was delivered, but front desk person denied a delivery. Package sat in office for days. Couldnt get a straight answer. Ghost in 213. I will say that I was pleasantlysurprised about this place. I'm giving it 4 stars based on other motels in the same price range and classification because this is by no means a 4 star hotel. The good- everything is very clean. The tv, carpet, most of the furniture, and the bed seem to be brand new. The bed is a memory foam mattress and is super comfortable. It's not a memory foam mattress topper like some places have it is an honest to God memory foam mattress and is BEYOND amazing! The sheets were very soft and the pillows seem to be fairly new and are comfortable. You can tell that the owners work very hard and try to take pride in their establishment; old that it may be. Also, the hot tub is pretty sweet. The bad- the outside seems fairly dated. I stayed in what seemed to be the older building and I was a little scared at first. The courtyard has almost no grass in it and there were empty beer bottles all over the place but everyone was cleared out by 10. The air conditioner was fairly old and took a while to cool off the room. All in all it was a decent stay. The front desk guy was very short and flippant with me but was not rude and did not balk when I informed him I had a service animal (you'd be surprised how often motels are straight up rude and try to wiggle out of letting me stay there because of it). Plus, the proximity to Denver is so convenient and the room is a hundred dollars cheaper than anywhere in Denver and that's why I chose it. I'll drive the 45 minutes to town to save a hundred bucks but that's just me. read more

Stayed one night in middle August. Front desk attendant not friendly or talked much. The room was dusty and the carpet was scary. Coffee pot appeared to have never been cleaned thoroughly and there was dog hair on it. I just cleaned it myself. There was a washer and dryer that came in handy after camping four days before. The attendant that was there later in the day was not very friendly either and appeared to me as a dirty homeless person. The breakfast area was not very clean and I wouldn't recommend anyone eat from there. Landscaping in the middle of the two buildings was nonexistent and dirty, with a bucket for cig butts. $90 bucks for one night in this place? never again. read more

we stayed here on the way to vail - our flight landed in denver @ midnight and it didn't make sense to drive ~2 hours up a mountain, late at night, to pay vail rates. thanks to hotwire we discovered this little gem along the way. our room was very dark, clean, and comfy, maybe not ideal for a proper vacation but perfect in terms of an inexpensive place to sleep on a road trip. this place is far enough from denver that you'll have a nice headstart on the mountain traffic, but close enough that you don't have to worry about driving at night if you have a late flight. be sure to request a non-smoking room. hotwire automatically booked us for a smoking room...didn't know that was still possible but luckily we were able to be switched. i don't smoke cigarettes but even if i did, smoking rooms are all kinds of nasty. read more

We stayed in a ground level room and could hear voices from other rooms in all directions. We could also hear every footstep above us. If you're gonna stay here, you should consider bringing ear plugs. On the positive side, they set breakfast out early for us (usually it's out at 6 AM). They have a waffle maker, pastries, and cereal... all in all, not a bad breakfast. read more

Feast your eyes on the squalid, unkept courtyard where derelicts are only outnumbered by the cigarette butts that litter the brown, patchy grass. I'm sure you'll sleep soundly, lulled by the soothing sounds of your neighbor's tv and the thumping of wild, whooping children up above. Did I mention they accept pets? This place is disgusting. I thought it would be ok given the brand but I was wrong. Our room was worn with thin linens and a blanket covered in dog hair. We ended up turning up the heat and using just a sheet. Gross. The carpet was dirty and I did not take off my shoes. The room has obviously not been well maintained and had a thick layer of dust on the heater. We did not eat breakfast here. We left very early to get out of the dump. Our room faced 70 and it was very noisy. Never again. read more

It was a cheap option when there wasn't much else to choose from. (we paid 65$ a night for a king) The walls were very thin and we could hear our neighbors talking and watching tv late into the night and hear traffic passing by on I-70. They allow pets. read more

The free wireless in rooms (2 routers) didn't reach my room (104), but all the sounds from the adjoining rooms came through loud and clear. The rooms are dark and dreary, but clean. The morning staff was very friendly and solved a reservation problem quickly (thought the night staff didn't bother to try). The hot tub had too many regulations to bother to try. The continental breakfast was all bread and dairy. But overall the hotel was convenient and inexpensive for the five days we stayed in Georgetown. read more

There seems to be a few different sections of rooms at this Super 8. I think we got the old section. The room stinks and the carpet is filthy ......which may be why iy smells. The coffee pot hasn't been cleaned since it's last use which must have been some time ago since it's covered in dust. Stay here only if you don't have another choice. ..ask to see the room before you pay. read more

This used to be a Super 8, now America's Best Value Inn. It's well-worn, i.e., "worn out". The room was dingy, dark, and felt "dirty". It's a place you don't want to open your bag and sleep with your clothes on. The walls were paper thin... you could hear every word and every movement in the rooms next to you and above. The alarm in the next room woke me up at 4 AM. I heard water dripping and sounds similar to mice running in the walls throughout the night. The location next to the interstate is convenient but noisy. The mattress was "odd"... it felt like firm foam. The basics were provided... soap, shampoo, hair dryer, clean towels, wifi, tv. The continental breakfast was OK. The young lady at the front desk was friendly and efficient. All this for $81... waaay overpriced. Stay here only if you left your tent at home. read more

We have stayed at this property four times, and our last stay will in fact be our last. Without trying to be unduly critical, the ONLY redeeming quality about this property is its proximity to Loveland Ski Area. If not for that reason, I'd have never booked here in the first place. To start with the check in process: the man that works the front desk is surly, seems disgruntled, and generally unfriendly. It's as if checking in guest is a burden for him personally. It is a very unwelcoming atmosphere in general. The rooms: cleanliness is not a priority for this property. Our last room had dirty towels still hanging in the bathroom and dirty towels on the floor from the previous guest. The room was labeled a non-smoking room but it, and all the fixtures, wreaked of smoke. The bedding was generally terrible, and the sheets and blankets did not seem clean. Furthermore, we didn't feel like the floor was even clean enough to remove our shoes. On to the clientele: while many of the guest seem to be there for the inexpensive lodging near the slopes, there were many other "guest" that appeared to be living at the motel on a longterm basis. One door in particular was covered in "do not disturb" stickers, not just the standard door hanger. These residents were rough around the edges to say the least, and were quite sketchy when we had to merely pass them to get to/from our car as they were hanging out on the walkways smoking. The breakfast: the Super 8 website claims they offer a continental breakfast, which although technically true, it's one of the worst breakfast selections I've encountered, and I've stayed in dozens of motels/hotels over the years. There were no other options that boxed cereal or stale breakfast "pastries." Additionally, the coffee was little more than brown water, and juice was some kind of fruit-flavored water. All in all, this is a horrible property. The only reason to say here is if you're broken down in Georgetown or if you're desperate for cheap lodging near Loveland. Do yourself a favor - save your money and get a real room elsewhere. read more

We stayed for a night on 5/7/17. The actual building is what caught my eye. It's a strange way to get to the check-in desk. You have to go down narrow steps that curve to get there. I am having trouble with my right foot and it was a scary ordeal. The gentleman at the front desk when we checked in wasn't very friendly. There were several other places to stay in the area and if we are back in Georgetown, CO again, we will try one of the other places. read more

Rooms are dated and shabby. Clean on the surface but there are cobwebs on a light fixture, the chair rail is dusty, the shelf above the closet rod is dusty, the base boards are dusty...not truly clean to the standard I expect in a hotel. Towels are flimsy. No microwaves in room. Fridge reeked of salami. Front desk staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. Buildings with rooms are detached from the breakfast area - not a real problem in the summer, but would be in the winter. Just all-around low-quality and not worth the price that we paid. read more
