We were in the area and this hotel was reasonable and close to where we were visiting…read more As a Hilton Honors member we were recognized and given a welcome bag. They also upgraded our room at no charge. All employees were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and updated. Only one small complaint was the water faucet was short and using the sink water went everywhere. They need to get new faucets that are larger to fit the sink. Breakfast was awesome both days. Food was plentiful and area very clean. We didn't have room service only stayed 2 nights. Not sure since covid things changed but we had plenty of towels and very little garbage. Overall great stay at a Hilton!

Cracked and chipped paint on ceiling, looked like black mold was forming on bathroom ceiling. Breakfast was horrible. Someone over salted everything. The bathroom faucet had been replaced with one that didn't fit and I couldn't wash hands or face without water splashing all over counter. We requested a late checkout and staff knocked on our door at normal checkout time waking my husband up asking us if we had a late check out? Really! Check the computer first. Bathroom light kept going on and off. Hallway's were very very busy. Slamming doors, people standing in hall talking on cell phone. The ugly- I accidentally hit something attached to the bed frame really hard with my shin that left a bruise. When I looked it was a hard plastic square thing protruding out? Then I hit my arm on a hard plastic zipper cover on the side of the mattress? The dog walking area was littered with dog poop everywhere. Couch was old and arms faded. It's an older hotel with so many new popping up around it. Will try others next time.

While most Holiday Inn chain hotels we had stayed at in the past allowed pets, we were told this one was not because they are "privately owned". So, owned by people who don't like dogs. I just wrote up our Marriott in Niagara for the terrible accessibility of their supposedly…read moreaccessible room so now I have to do the opposite for this room at the Holiday Inn in Medina. This room is laid out amazingly well and I could probably manage four people in wheelchairs with the space in here. It's such a relief to have a room with the proper amount of space to maneuver and turn around a large wheelchair anywhere we need to. The door opens into a large open area and you can pass through there in to the expansive bathroom. I'm not sure why they call these accessible tubs since there is not a way to get somebody who can't step in and out of it into there. I do wish it had a roll in shower. But the roll under sink and the amount of space around the toilet are wonderful. We were in room 420. There is even space beyond the beds by the window to get chairs back there and turn around or leave them there to charge for the night. From the bathroom, there is a noise that sounds like there is a helicopter overhead. I don't know if we are right under something on the roof perhaps. There are some noises in the other room overnight as well but not bad. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. Their buffet breakfast is at the top of even the rest of the Holiday Inn express breakfasts. The lady taking care of things kept everything well-stocked, the food was fresh and delicious, and she was keeping everything very clean.

We are in the Medina area for a family funeral. First of all I called them and told them of our estimated arrival time. Well, I was off by 2 hours because of traffic and hazardous road conditions. I had already paid in advance so we just needed to grab a key. Well they canceled our reservation and then booked us on the third floor. No carriage cart to help load our suitcases in. As soon as I walked in I began checking for bedbugs and the place was utterly disgusting!! I went down to the desk and asked for cleaning supplies. He gave me some face clothes and a hand towels no cleaning solution!! I wiped snot and hair out of sink and tub and scoured the toilet. My husband yells honey come and look at this! Puke or something gross was all over the floor! Dust and hairballs everywhere! Bugs dead and some still crawling!!! Just look at my pictures!! And when we left you couldn't help but notice the drug deals going on in the parking lot. DON'T STAY HERE !!!

I stayed overnight while driving cross country cuz it was the cheapest hotel around…read more Pros: * Okay for overnight only... shower, sleep & leave early. For $50+tax, you get a basic, decent room, fairly modern. * Shower water has great pressure & is plenty hot. Small soaps, thin but plenty of towels, a few plastic cups. * Front desk staff is pleasant & professional. She let me know that if I wanted to eat next door at Buffalo Wild Wings, I could show the key for a 15% discount. Same in the morning at a local breakfast chain. * M6's are not known for super comfy mattresses... they're bare bones basic, which is fine. My mattress was firm & comfy enough. 2 pillows were firm & enough. Cons: * Even during Covid, I don't think the room was thoroughly cleaned, meaning all surfaces, light switches, doorknobs, etc. Bring your own wipes with you. * My room smelled like stale smoke (not even a hint of any kind of cleaner) & the ketchup (or blood) stains on the dusty curtains led me to believe bare minimum is done to clean between stays, which is too bad. I turned on the heating unit & left it on continually to try to counteract some of the smell... it was 50% successful... still, for $50 & just an overnight stay, I didn't expect more. * All doors lock oddly... when you leave the room & close your door, you must wait 10-seconds for the green light to go out & the lock to engage, otherwise it doesn't lock. The regulars seem to think you need to slam the door (which might account for some of the noise... see below) & put the key into the lock again to get it to lock... several told me this. They're wrong... just close the door (quietly!) & wait a moment. * The guests are all very strange... many hang out in the lobby (5 at a time) & I believe live here. They are in & out of their rooms all night long, slamming doors, going to the lobby to stand & watch the TV (odd as they have TV in-room), visiting each other, going from room to room, talking loudly in the hallways. It might be that this is one of the M6's that's taken in homeless, halfway house & displaced tenants during the lockdown (many motels had to as per state laws) & there are large dogs running the halls off leash, as well. The 1st floor was like a party... & whomever was above me, either with kids or dogs or both jumping or wrestling on the floor, banging over & over... well, again, without Melatonin, I wouldn't have slept a wink. They did eventually quiet down late night, but heavy adult footsteps all night & very early morning were evident... it was annoying. Good to know: * There's an in-wall heater-a/c unit. It's noisy. I like it cuz it tuned out the noisy neighbors, so I could better sleep, but it does turn on-off at times & might drive some nuts. * Note: No fridge, m/w or coffee pot... during Covid, there are no amenities available at all, including lobby coffee. * This is 1 of the older M6's where entry is through front, back or side doors... you can't drive up to your room door & park in front of it. 2* out of 5. If cash conscious, for overnight, if you're not picky & a heavy sleeper, you'll be fine. I'd suggest taking Melatonin, otherwise, you may wish you went elsewhere. However, I wouldn't stay again. There's a Fairfield Inn across the street for $50+ more per night.

My Medina Nightmare The plan was to load the Durango up go…read moreto Olivers follow up appointment and head to Ohio directly after. On Tuesday night 6/16/2026 I went on the Expedia app and booked a stay at The Quality Inn and Suites Medina from Wednesday 6/17- Monday 6/22. Wednesday Morning, we go to my son's appointment, and the Surgeon says he has to have another surgery to repair the wound. He schedules the surgery for Thursday morning. So, we stayed in Charlotte at another hotel on Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday, I texted the hotel on the Expedia app that I could not check in on Wednesday that it would be Friday. Friday my son is released, and we head north to Ohio. I drop off the boys and head to the hotel. I get there and the Clerk says because I did not check in on Wednesday that the whole reservation was cancelled and no refund could be offered because the hotel was not paid and they are booked full. Having had a rough past couple of weeks I just wanted to unwind and need sleep after driving 9 hours and not sleeping that well in the hospital. I stayed with Oliver in the room. After the clerk informed me that no room and no refund I went to lobby desk and plugged in my phone that had died and only charges with a wifi charger. After about ten minutes I was able to get ahold of Expedia customer service through chat. They were not helpful at all, but they did say it was the hotel's choice, and they had been paid for and had a no refund policy. Nothing they could do except to escalate the concern, which they informed me on Monday on the way home that the hotel would not be refunding any money. Not helpful, no solution. I had not had a shower since Thursday morning and I was exhausted. I got on the app at about 1 o'clock in the morning and looked for a hotel for Saturday through Monday and the hotel I had booked showed a accessible room available. As I was searching the clerk came up to me and asked me if I was all right. I said no. Kind of let loose on her. Explained that I booked it on the app, messaged the property on the app and now I don't have a place to sleep after driving 9 hours and out the money I paid Expedia. She goes back behind desk, and I return to rubbing my head and searching for a place to sleep three calls and those hotels are booked. The clerk walks ack up and say she has a room that someone no showed. I said great, she also says that there would be no charge because she was able to get the funds from Expedia. Says she can get me in a accessible room on Saturday. I was very happy to have a place to sleep. Got to the room and it was not cleaned, two beds one was slept in one was not, trash in corner, three of the first plugs I tried to charge my phone did not work. Unplugged the Refrigerator and went to bed. I got up late and headed down to desk, same clerk said the room would be ready after two. So, I grabbed breakfast, went to Wadsworth to get my sons meds and dropped them off. Got back at 3pm. She said the room was still not ready. I said I needed to take a shower, and I needed her to remove the door on my bathroom, and I might be able to get in that bathroom. She said she had no maintenance man there on Saturday. I said I was going to buy tools, and I would do it myself. I left bought a hammer and screwdriver to remove the door. Upon my return she said that she still did not have a room available, but she could offer me a handicap room to shower in. I agreed. I showered and then returned to my room. Slept in that room on Saturday. Sunday morning, I had breakfast and the new clerk agreed to change out my room. So, I had an accessible room for one night of my booked five day stay. What a nightmare stay.

Had bad reviews in the past but I thoroughly examined the suite and everything seemed fine to me! We enjoyed the room, the breakfast & the pool while we stayed.
