The bed was a brick. 3rd the refrigerator in the room kept turning off. Come to find out it has a button - off for 8 hours or on for 2 hours. What??!! What if I want to use the fridge as a fridge? Push the button every two hours. Not possible. That was the solution provided by hotel staff. But the premium rooms we were told have a regular fridge with no button. So they swapped it out. Guess what? Yes you guessed it - the buttons are there. Those "premium" rooms have the same fridge that is not a fridge. More of a drink cooler. Everett was nice enough to bring the "cooler" fridge and proceeded to say that we had huge trays in the fridge. They were two standard to go boxes. So no, not huge. But since we lost about $30 worth of food, he invited us to eat dinner and breakfast on the house. I give him points for that but not the jabs. That was not professional at all. It was like he was trying to tell us it was our fault the not-fridge wasn't working. Even in shit box hotels the fridge is a fridge. I thought Courtyard was, as they say, premium. This experience, although Everett tried to make it right, left me disappointed. Say no to Kingwood Marriott - there are plenty of others to choose from.

We were given a Wi-Fi passcode, but I have AT&T and even logging onto the hotel's Wifi, which I would normally never do, I could not get any reception on my iPhone, not with their Wi-Fi nor with my cellular so strange. It wasn't that big of a problem for us, but it would be majorly inconvenient if you were trying to do remote work. Hotel is located right on the feeder road of the highway, but we requested a room towards the back so we did not hear any road noise. The hotel graciously accommodated our request. The hotel was clean, getting off of the elevator and walking to our room, the hallway is carpeted, but each footstep creaks like you're walking in an old wooden attic. Walking into our room, I noticed the door jam or the door is crooked, resulting in a small triangle space above the door where I believe someone could see into the room, to be honest, I was exhausted and concerned about having surgery the next day, so I didn't test it. The room was clean, huge, had tile floor throughout and had a postage stamp of a tv on the wall. The tv had apps on it including Netflix, Pandora, YouTube and like three others I wasn't familiar with. None of the tv apps worked and I didn't call to address it. The bathroom door was also crooked and wouldn't stay open. Even though the bathroom had a vent in there, the bathroom stayed hot the whole night. The ac in the room worked, but didn't cool the room. We normally keep our home at 74°. We had to set the thermostat to 62° just to make it through the night. The bed had two sheets for linens. One sheet was thicker, but I absolutely wouldn't call it a comforter. I pulled the linens out of the closet for the sofa bed, but the blanket looked used to me. I requested two blankets from the front desk which they readily gave me. I normally try to leave positive reviews wherever I go, because I know most people focus on doing negative reviews. I haven't done a negative review in years, there were just so many issues they shouldn't be overlooked. Thanks.

He treated us like crap. Never talked to us, never had meetings. The hotel constantly had bedbugs I've seen them several times asking with cockroaches. He told all of us to shut our mouths don't let the guests here this. Then in room210 seconds floor there was always green mold all over the bed, couch ,computer chair, tables. He make us house keepers go into the rooms and wipe every thing day , he even made the matemence man go wash and scrub the green mold from the couch, in stead it really needed to get thrown away. All the furniture in all the rooms were broken out dated. None of the drawers opened because they were broken. I cleaned the ac filters and there was black mold in the filters. Black mold under the ridge of the toilet where the other house keepers didn't clean good enough. Some of the house keepers never changed the pillow cases putting fresh clean ones on then. Being to lazy to do so. Many of them never vacuumed the rooms again being lazy. They didn't take pride in cleaning the rooms . We had to put the break fast up to. We'll Billy wouldn't let us throw that mornings scrambled eggs away they works out it in a bowl flow the next morning. Same goes with the gravy. That got reused for the next morning too. None of them ever wore clothes when they were putting bread back in the bags ,bagles back in bags. I'm really surprised no guest has gotten food poisoning. The hotel isn't family oriented, it's a drug den, I've found Crack pipes, syringes from heroin or meth use. Weed in the drawers next to the bibles. They have a sign at the door saying that the building is under construction. That's funny I've been there since first week of March carpet was the only thing laid. And it wasn't even professionals that did it. The roles of carpet is still in the front. Billy hired the cheapest Mexican he could find. Then cars have been broken into. Peoples stuff in there rooms have been stolen. The list goes on and on. Billy and his wife live there on first floor where it says storage room. Billy keeps her because she does all the paper work Anna Billy drinks him self till he's drunk. If you care about your children I'm begging you don't go to that hotel black and green mold is deadly. Not only did they never clean my room, but the maid SAW me leave my room, even said hi to me, and still skipped my room. When I got back in the evening, they had already gone for the day. WTF? The minor one? Location, and even then it's not bad. It's a good location in terms of access, but hard to find and a little odd. It's tucked away off the freeway, behind a hospital. if you aren't looking for it, you won't find it. Otherwise, the staff is friendly, and the property is brand-new and spotless. Just don't make too big a mess in your room.
