This place was horrifying. It was filthy. The hallways stunk like stale. Beer cigarettes was filthy. The room had no mirror no TV control somebody glued shut the air conditioning vent so it couldn't be used. Somebody jumped over the balcony to try to get into my room. the cockroaches were so bad that if you turn the light off and turned it right back on, you would see over 100 of them on the ground. I tried to complain to the owner never got a response back. He has the people that live in the hotel the front desk they drink alcohol outside. Looks like a ghetto apartment building. I tried to call the owner, so it could get resolved, but now I had to call Wyndham

I've stayed at this motel yearly for the past 5 years, with the exception of last year due to COVID. The motel had been refurbed just prior to my first visit and looked very nice for what it is. All still seemed nice in subsequent years until this year. I manage an annual sailboat race from San Francisco to Vallejo each year. By the time I get in it's after 9:00pm. At that point, after being on the water all day, all I want is a hot shower and go to bed. The first room they gave me, #221, was disgustingly dirty. Not just not cleaned from the previous customer, I mean filthy. Look at the pics. The second room, #216, was cleaner, but still had mold in the tub, the drawer pulls were missing from all the drawers and had scratch and chip marks all over the walls. At that point I didn't care, I wanted a hot shower. Well guess what? I never got a hot shower because the shower mixer was broken and all I could get was cold water. At this point I gave up, took the cold shower and went to bed. The next day I immediately sent a complaint to Wyndham, which gave me a VERY INSINCERE AUTOREPLY, stating I'd be contacted within 10 days. Nope. Send another email and still nothing. It's bad enough that the motel sucked (and I will never return), but what really gets me is that Wyndham doesn't care. As such, I'm obligated to post this review, not only here, but on Hotels.com, Trip Advisor and any other place I can do so, not just condemning Super 8, but also the entire Wyndham organization for no follow through. I can't say that I will never stay in another Wyndham property, but I can assure you that I will do my best to avoid all of their properties whenever possible.

This hotel is not deserve One Star . This place is dangerous and the people staying at this hotel are extremely scary. There was fighting (verbal and physical) upon my arrival to this place at 2:30 pm on a Friday . The room was not ready so we waited until after the check-in time of 3pm. The maid was still cleaning even though the clerk had given me the room key. After attending an event I went back to the hotel (around 11:30pm) that I had not been able to get into earlier ,only to have my key not work therefore unable to enter . My fiancé went downstairs to get a new key. When he came back we were able to enter . It was immediately obvious someone had been in our room after the maid left. The balcony door was unlocked and open. The bed had been laid on , there was a boot print in the comforter, there was urine in the toilet , food on top of the refrigerator , trash in the trash bin and the bathroom door was kicked in. At this point my fiancé ( a law enforcement officer) and I decided leave ! I spoke with the clerk on duty explained my to had been entered and the state it was in. The room was not safe nor did I feel safe staying . I requested my money back and he gave the lame excuse that he could not refund my money . Screechy people were hovering in and around the lobby . My fiancé and I left immediately . I did contact Expedia to request a refund and was told the hotel has to issue the refund . Expedia called the hotel and the clerk did not pick up . I called only to have the rings turn into busy signals . Shame of Wyndham for putting there branding on the property and shame on Expedia.com for having this dangerous and unsafe property shown for booking . I failed to mention there were 3 Police vehicles in the hotel parking lot when we returned at 11:30pm . As the officers watched a group of individuals visibly disheveled, upset and behaving oddly leave the hotel parking lot. After the individuals drive off , the police cars left the hotel parking lot .

    Wonderful bathroom area

The girl at the front desk amazing job at accommodating us the two days we were in town Jessica was wonderful my wife simply loved her we will for sure come by again

    Burnt tin foil, drug paraphernalia

Got to the hotel there were around 25 young people outside smoking blunts. Went in the office where there was a party with cake and loud music took 25 min to get keys. Halls were filthy, carpets stained walls are dirty. Opened door to room and saw wasn't vacuumed looked on bath sink and saw burnt tin foil drug paraphernalia then looked on bed and found food trash! The absolute worst experience ever!!!! I would give it a zero stars if i could!

Cig burns in a "non smoking" room smh

The worst hotel ive stayed at so far. Checked in Front desk girl gave off attitude like i was bothering her. Clearly she lacking proper customer service skills. Anyways I was given a room where it was "non smoking". I thought coo yeah..ssshhiet. once i walked through the hall way was hit by smoke. A cloud of it in the hallway weed smoke cig smoke crack smoke meth smoke..man take ya pick it was there. The room wasnt too much better i was just always smelling cig smoke. Heard a couple arguing hella loud for a few hrs. Parking lot is full of random people comin in and out. Doing who knows what. Got Homeless living in the back of the parking lot too. This place is old and out dated dont waste ya time or money here.

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE ZERO STARS, I WOULD! Me and my mom were planning a weekend stay in Vallejo because we're visiting my auntie who's currently hospitalized at Kaiser. We reserved a place here at Super 8. Despite the bad ratings, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. At the time of our arrival, the manager was standing outside with his friend and walked in behind us. All over the front counter, there were papers taped saying: "Sold Out for Tonight." I thought, wow! Must be a popular place to stay. I then saw a stack of cancellation papers on the table. He spoke to us and expressed his apologies that he had to cancel our reservation due to some company override. I didn't even get an email or phone call hours prior to my arrival. We're from SoCal, Anaheim area - DO YOU KNOW HOW FAR OF A DRIVE THAT IS? What would've been better than sending us off to another Super 8 that costs +$50 for our stay is COMPENSATING. He then said "I didn't see your phone number or email on the reservation." That's BS, because what's a reservation without contact information? Get real. We're in 2022 and you think that's relevant to respond with? NEVER AGAIN WILL I SET FOOT HERE. ALSO, I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO RESERVE A PLACE TO STAY HERE. OH AND ALSO, THERE'S SHADY PEOPLE PARKING AND LURKING IN THEIR PARKING SPOTS. IF YOU DO PLAN A STAY, MAKE SURE YOUR CAR HAS A DASH CAM AND ALSO A STEERING WHEEL LOCK. DON'T ASSUME THAT YOU WILL BE GUARANTEED YOUR CAR THE NEXT MORNING.

Checking in was easy and the front desk staff was very friendly! We were arriving late night on Friday so I had called that day for them to leave a note on my reservation. We noticed their small store next to the front desk with food, drink, and personal care items available and thought the selection was well done (I didn't buy anything from it so cannot comment on the prices). The room was clean and tucked in the back by the parking lot. We were actually able to see both the theme park coasters and our car from our room. Score! Unfortunately, this is where they lose points for me. The options of what to watch on the TV were meh with bad channels and half of them losing signal. The Wifi was spotty and slow, but useable. The bed was soooo hard that I tossed and turned both nights and ended up with a sore back and neck. The other members of my party did too, one of which was sleeping on the sofa bed and commented it wasn't so comfortable either. This is obviously a personal preference, but it is a big deal for someone about to go enjoy the day at a theme park! The walls are thin, being able to hear people pretty clearly in their rooms as you walk through the halls ( *.* ) and when in your room, but we didn't have actual issues that stemmed from this. We ate from their breakfast spread both days we were there. They offered several juices, coffee, premade omelets, sausage rounds, potatoes, muffins, scones, bagels, toast, oatmeal, cereal with regular and almond milk, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and two waffle machines with vanilla or red velvet batter. The food was meh lacking in flavor, but it also wasn't the worst we have had so we were happy it was included in the price to stay. On a side note, Dutch Bros is a literal 1 minute walk from the entrance of the hotel! Blessedly they had a shuttle that ran all day from Six Flags to the hotel which saved us $50 in parking. We had to call when we were ready to be picked up and they were there within just a few minutes. We decided to swim and enjoy the hot tub after our day at the park. It was fairly full of people and one of the cabana mattress covers was ripped up making it unusable, but the experience was fine. There were towels available by the door and the outside pool was heated, but still cool enough for enjoyment. The hot tub helped our sore muscles, but the jets aren't really usable on your body as they are way too strong. Ultimately, if the beds were softer and the breakfast a little better we would have no hesitation returning next time we wanted to go to Six Flags. We may try another hotel next time since those are important, but we wouldn't say no to staying here again. Thanks for the friendly service and clean hotel!

Initially, I thought "I'm not going to drink; therefore, we can make the one hour drive back to our home in Elk Grove after the wedding reception. Thankfully, my wise and beautiful wife intervened and strongly suggested that we book a room at the Courtyard Vallejo Napa Valley (there was a discounted rate available for members of the wedding party). Since there was some construction taking place by the hotel, Google Maps misled us (the entrance of the hotel's parking lot is on the side of the hotel that faces the nearby Chevron). Entering the hotel, we were checked in by an employee who acknowledged me with a head nod. Generally I find this to be unprofessional, but I gathered that he was a little flustered by a difficult customer that he was assisting prior to us. After providing us with room keys, he gave me a parking pass to put on my dashboard (parking is $10). We entered a very clean room that had both a refrigerator and microwave (very beneficial considering that my wife and I brought our breakfast meal prep for the next morning), along with a nice view of the neighboring Six Flags amusement park. Speaking of the amusement park...the room was well-insulated; therefore, we could not hear the screaming of the patrons on the roller coaster that faced our room. I'm so glad that I took heed to my wife's advice, we experienced a comfortable and safe stay at the Courtyard Vallejo Napa Valley!

We got in late, so didn't have an opportunity to check out Table 29 Bistro & Bar at the hotel, which is supposed to be good. However they have a market in the lobby, well-stocked with various snacks and refreshments, so we grabbed a few items there before heading up to the room. Free HBO on TV, which is awesome. The room stayed quiet all night, the AC stayed on, and the bed was comfortable and supportive with a firm mattress, hence no waking up with back pain. Should have put the 'do not disturb' sign on, because housekeeping was rearing to go earlier than we were. Nevertheless, woke up well-rested and ready to go. The hotel does need some renovating, as others have mentioned, but they are working on it, and I look forward to seeing the updates during a future visit.

Welcome cookies secured, we made our way to our room, a lovely 2Q with patio, past the resident ducks. The hallways *reeked* of marijuana, and then a door opened and an ankle biter dog came running at my kid & I. WHAT?!?! Didn't know it was party or pet friendly, and especially at this price point. Good: The room was fine, spacious & seemed clean. Bathroom was massive, I think we ended up with an accessible room. Beds were not the comfiest (especially after a day of rollercoasters!) and I noticed 1 of the locks on the patio french doors was missing, and the patio furniture outside was COVERED in spiderwebs. Wiped them off to use the table & chairs. The patio was nice to have, tho. Bad: The pool was FREEZING, not heated at all & the hot tub was easily 105-107°, dangerously scalding. You could barely dip feet in for a few minutes it was that hot. Bathroom was out of soaps in the dispensers, OK, we brought some. The wall temp unit RAN NOISILY ALL NIGHT, like constantly on, no matter what we set it to. Renovations are in place so there was tape outside on the patio. I agree with other posters that it needs a freshening up. There was no complimentary coffee or even cold brekkies/pasties in the lobby in the a.m, and the onsite restaurant wanted $6+/cup for coffee & the food was very expensive. At this room rate, I was surprised. For the price & conditions, I think a 1 night stay was OK for us, but our regular Marriott near Six Flags seems to offer better value & amenities.
