We came here for our 10 year anniversary and it was wonderful! We had a beautiful room with an amazing view. Later we spent some time in the bar/restaurant. Very nice experience. The manager Anna was incredible!!! She was so welcoming and made the best drinks. The service was amazing as well as the food. We have decided to make this our yearly spot!! We are very happy with our stay and we are telling all our friends to go see for themselves. Thank you Union Hotel! And a very special Thank you to Anna!

Decent happy hour! I went here recently with some friends and was impressed again by their happy hour. I feel like Union is one of those places people pass on 1st St all the time and never try. If you are looking yo save some money while getting some good grub I definitely recommend giving them a try sometime. The only thing I wish they would change is if they could make those wings buffalo style. Don't get me wrong, the parmesan cheese is different and is a nice touch but hotwings are so classic when it comes to Happy Hour!

This quaint old hotel, furnished in large antiques, is just what the Dr. ordered. We stayed in the Coast Lotus room which has stunning views of the Benicia bay & Carquienez straight with a large picturesque window. It has a two person jacuzzi tub that I was looking forward to using but I got a little sceeved out when I saw dirt in the bottom. I rinsed it out & started to fill it when old pieces of soap started floating & I saw a clump of hair on one of the jets. Ok, change of plans, I can live without. Despite that, I still highly recommend this place. Covid has changed many things & there was no onsite staff, which I kind of liked. It was more like our getaway place than hotel. I had the personal phone number for the manager who lives right down the street if I had any problems. We had no idea what we were getting into with the surrounding area but what an adorable town!! There are lit tree lined streets the entire way leading down to a point. I absolutely cannot wait to come back to this little area & this hotel.

I had an amazing experience at The Union Hotel recently! The drink was strong yet refreshing! The salmon was the best I ever had! It was absolutely delicious. The waitress and chef were also extremely kind. I will definitely return and soon.

The Restaurant is great, Gabby & his daughter are amazing people all around . Their food is always on point and never disappoints. They are great with my kiddos every time we go there. For it just being either both or just one of them working at once they are good with time management for food/drinks. I love them. I definitely recommend their food & hospitality to everyone.

I love historical hotels. And what could be better then a historical hotel in the middle of a town you want to walk around in and explore? And the rooms! Beautiful. Antiques and a step stool that was right at the bottom of the bed! Light coming in from big windows that you could actually open! What a novel idea! And real hardwood floors? So why am I giving this beautiful hotel only one star? 1). Several times I tried to call the front desk from the phone in the room, and not once was I able to get anyone. That has never happened to me before in ANY hotel I stayed at. What if there was an emergency? 2). There was HAMMERING all night that seemed to be coming both from outside, as well as hammering near my door. It also sounded as though someone was actually hammering my door! It was so crazy I actually recorded it at 2:30 am because I knew no one would believe me! I took a screenshot and you can see it for yourself. Look at the time!! 3). Earlier, I spoke to the manager, who very nicely said that she would make an exception and I would be able to use their laundry facilities. She would call me at 9:00 am when she arrived. I got a knock on my door between 7:30-8:00 am. After being up the night before with the hammering, I was not a happy camper. And I was a little surprised. Is it normal to knock on a hotel guest's door so early? 4). My reservation had been for 3 nights, but I decided not to stay. The manager said she would refund my money. I never got the confirmation of the refund. She said she sent it, and she sent it again. I never received it. I had no problem getting the original confirmation charging my card, why then did I have a problem getting the confirmation refunding my money?

Our server was doing her best on her own for the entire establishment and we respected her situation. The Gabby's Jolt was merely strong and seemed to be missing ingredients listed on the menu. We had ordered the stuffed mushrooms appetizer which was tasty, the filet mignon entree and halibut entree ( of which we told the server we'd like to have a glass of white wine to accompany it but had to wait until the entree was nearly cold to receive it). We ate two servings of bread an do bitter while we waited for the entrees. The filet was tender and seasoned well in addition to being cooked a bit over medium, had a large portion of spinach and mashed potatoes, and came with the same red wine reduction sauce as the mushrooms which we found a bit odd. The minutely seasoned halibut has to have been the tiniest piece of fish we've ever seen served and only had six small potato quarters and like 6-7 stalks of asparagus with it. Overall, we ate everything because of the small halibut entree, but will most likely not return. I suggest the owners have more than one server on a Friday night, For everyone's sake.

Checking in was easy and the front desk staff was very friendly! We were arriving late night on Friday so I had called that day for them to leave a note on my reservation. We noticed their small store next to the front desk with food, drink, and personal care items available and thought the selection was well done (I didn't buy anything from it so cannot comment on the prices). The room was clean and tucked in the back by the parking lot. We were actually able to see both the theme park coasters and our car from our room. Score! Unfortunately, this is where they lose points for me. The options of what to watch on the TV were meh with bad channels and half of them losing signal. The Wifi was spotty and slow, but useable. The bed was soooo hard that I tossed and turned both nights and ended up with a sore back and neck. The other members of my party did too, one of which was sleeping on the sofa bed and commented it wasn't so comfortable either. This is obviously a personal preference, but it is a big deal for someone about to go enjoy the day at a theme park! The walls are thin, being able to hear people pretty clearly in their rooms as you walk through the halls ( *.* ) and when in your room, but we didn't have actual issues that stemmed from this. We ate from their breakfast spread both days we were there. They offered several juices, coffee, premade omelets, sausage rounds, potatoes, muffins, scones, bagels, toast, oatmeal, cereal with regular and almond milk, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and two waffle machines with vanilla or red velvet batter. The food was meh lacking in flavor, but it also wasn't the worst we have had so we were happy it was included in the price to stay. On a side note, Dutch Bros is a literal 1 minute walk from the entrance of the hotel! Blessedly they had a shuttle that ran all day from Six Flags to the hotel which saved us $50 in parking. We had to call when we were ready to be picked up and they were there within just a few minutes. We decided to swim and enjoy the hot tub after our day at the park. It was fairly full of people and one of the cabana mattress covers was ripped up making it unusable, but the experience was fine. There were towels available by the door and the outside pool was heated, but still cool enough for enjoyment. The hot tub helped our sore muscles, but the jets aren't really usable on your body as they are way too strong. Ultimately, if the beds were softer and the breakfast a little better we would have no hesitation returning next time we wanted to go to Six Flags. We may try another hotel next time since those are important, but we wouldn't say no to staying here again. Thanks for the friendly service and clean hotel!

The server told us they operate out of a food truck. So the menu is limited. But what they make is really good! We ordered the lemonade, chicken and waffles, huevos rancheros divorciados, and the strawberry champagne sherbet. Service was very prompt! The actual menu in-person had a couple items that aren't on the sample menu including a couple more dessert options like fig ice cream. We really liked everything we tried! The portions were pretty good. If coming here for food I'd recommend getting here early since food trucks have limited capacity. You're welcome to stroll around the property both the flower farm and the inn side before or after your meal. The parking situation is a gravel lot. So it may not be the most handicap accessible place. We had a lot of fun stopping by Park Winters. They were setting up for a wedding so the inn side would have been closed for the event starting at 1pm. The check also came with a small map of the property for you to keep. This was very helpful in exploring the property. The only caveat is this is the countryside. Wear long pants or be prepared with insect repellent! Even at 10am in the summer my legs were bitten by mosquitoes. (Type O blood. Mosquito magnet here.) I'd like if they burned some citronella candles to help with mosquitoes. The rest of the dining venue was so thoughtfully designed including timed misters (like at theme parks) to help keep the area cool. Definitely check it out if you're curious or in the area.

They comped the meal, and we didn't ask for it; we only wanted to split the check, which was a policy that was never discussed, but their system could do it. So they decided to comp the check, given the many issues. Then the manager calls me after we leave, leaves a message, and says, very passively aggressive, "We comped your meal, but you did not leave the server a tip." Servers live off tips. But don't worry, we took care of her tip. Have a good day." Umm, excuse me? I was a server for over 7 years. First of all, I wouldn't expect a tip after the establishment that failed me by not ensuring they had adequate kitchen supplies to keep a Mother's Day up and running. Additionally, I would have added more staff to the day, which would of course be very busy. And lastly, how are we tipped when you comped the bill and walked away, and nobody had cash? We did not ask for the bill to be comped. So for future reference, dear John I don't recommend calling your customers and bullying them over voicemail. You're the problem, not us.
