Again they could of gave me an outrageous quote since half the job was done but once again I was given a very reasonable number. Communication was great by phone, text and email. The guys who came out to do the work were very friendly and professional. The job got done in a reasonable amount of time and the pool looks fantastic. The company was know as Walker pools previously but now called Affordable so you can look up both to find them. If I ever need pool repairs again they will be the first ones I call. My experience with HomeTeam Inspection Service was deeply disappointing. The pre-purchase inspection I paid for was so incomplete that it failed to identify several major, visible issues. Specifically, the inspection missed: Dryer Venting: There was no pipe connecting the dryer to the roof vent--just an open hole in the roof, creating a clear safety hazard. HVAC System: Significant ductwork issues were completely overlooked. Irrigation System: They were unable to operate the controller, so they skipped inspecting the system altogether rather than properly evaluating it. Multiple contractors obtaining quotes to fix these items expressed disbelief that a licensed inspector missed them. The post-inspection response was equally frustrating. When I brought these issues to the owner (Jeff), he acknowledged in writing that an item was missed and initially agreed to assist with the fix. However, he subsequently reversed position, citing fine-print contract limitations and standard inspection protocols. He also directed me to file an insurance claim that was promptly denied. Prospective buyers should also be aware of their contract terms, which restrict your remedies by mandating binding arbitration and capping liability strictly to the cost of the inspection fee. Even my Realtor, who had previously recommended this service, was shocked by how this was handled and confirmed they will no longer refer clients to them. Because of the severe oversights and refusal to stand behind the work, I have filed a formal complaint with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR). I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your home inspection needs.

Thankfully, Elite Pool Designs put all of our fears to rest thanks to their amazing customer service, fair prices and excellent, high quality work. We previously had a koi pond in our backyard but, as the fish died out, realized we wanted something else back there instead. We reached out to Elite Pool and Cyndi and she came over the next day to assess our yard. As we had no idea where to start, she helped guide us through the whole process, connecting us with surveyors, tree removal experts and all of the other hidden things you don't think about when you decide "I want a pool". After the work to get the yard ready was done, we went to the Elite Pool offices to pick out the tile, lining and design of the pool. Cyndi walked us through the shape and features we wanted, and provided a very reasonable quote for everything, including, automation, a heater for the pool (hey it DOES sometime get cold here!) and a screen enclosure. Construction for the pool started in October 2024 and finished in late January 2025, and our hat goes off to Robert (owner of Elite Pool) for his help with managing the entire project. Crews arrived as needed and on time, and though there were some periods between steps where not a lot of work was being done, it was never unreasonable and given the holidays, totally fair. Inspection and electrical were simple and easy and now we are ready to enjoy our pool! For anyone in our same position, looking to install a pool from scratch but not sure where to turn, Elite Pool Design should be your first call, can't recommend them highly enough!
