I was trying to find the email when a male worker took me to the section of where the brand I was looking for was. Admittedly, I am a little unfamiliar with green ladys deals, so I mentioned that I was there for a specific deal and they took me to a section I wasn't looking for. And when I corrected which section I wanted, they proceeded to mansplain to me how everything works when I am a pretty regular smoker. The whole interaction left a really bad taste in my mouth, and I am for sure hesitant to even return to this location if that's how they treat their customers. it left me feeling flustered, stupid, and belittled. My mom went yesterday to get me a few carts since I can't get out anymore and was there last night and again today. The cart the girl specifically told mom "Oh here you have to get this one" without a choice she bought it because she believed the girl. The flavor that the employee had Mom get is disgusting in the cart was not hitting barely. We called last night and we're told if we come back in we could return it and get something else. Today when Mom came, the manager told her she couldn't exchange it for a different flavor just a different cart. The flavor is honestly disgusting. When I called in the fuel told me that her manager would not change it for anything. I'm not posting to get anything fixed, I'm posting this to say how disappointed I am. I definitely won't be back. Which is definitely sad, the employees have always taken care of me. But this experience was so bad it's ruined it.

Customers seeking peace and a respectful, private experience are instead met with invasive, boundary-crossing questions. When I explicitly refused to disclose my personal plans to an associate ringing me up, they used my shutdown of "no plans" as an invitation to press harder--behavior directly enabled by a manager who dismissed my concerns via email as nothing more than the staff's "many communication styles." It is insulting to be told by this store's manager that I should have to police their employees' behavior by announcing when I am "not in the mood for conversation" just to be left alone. When I pushed back on this toxic excuse, management simply ghosted me, proving they have no interest in professional standards. I am not here to train your staff on basic social decency, nor should any customer have to sacrifice their dignity just to make a purchase. I will be happily driving an extra five minutes to a store with class that respects its patrons; if you value your peace, dignity and privacy, I suggest you do the same. (BTW, The store at this address is called Local Roots when currently searching "cannabis" on Google locally, with signage on the building that reflects it's the current name)

The other evening I had popped in with a friend after noticing their place earlier while I passed it as I made my way home from doing some errands. They have a nice and spacious lot to park in and the entrance is tidy and easy to access. When you enter the shop, it is an open floor plan with an impressive selection of pieces, products, smoking accessories, and vapes to check out if I hadn't come so close to closing. I'll be sure to give myself some extra time to look around the next time I go. My friend and I were both kindly greeted by the salesperson right when we had stepped in. He was due to ask if we'd needed help finding anything and if there were any questions he could answer for us. He was extremely kind and fun, and we chatted a bit following my purchase as we both checked out the store's products and pieces. I praise his quickness in finding what I was looking for and making sure I had everything I needed. I was also pleasantly surprised of the amount for what I had bought, was it was much cheaper than I expected. While checking out, the worker (sorry I am so bad at names) had asked if we'd visited the store before and I said we hadn't, he offered to sign me up for the rewards program if I would like to. I said why not, and he then explained how it works and the details it of what the offered. I appreciate the customer service I was provided and how kind and helpful he was; he got me signed up quickly and said a goodbye to us as we finished looking around and headed towards the door. I totally recommend The Smoke Shop Guys if you're looking for smoking pieces, smoking accessories, disposable and reusable vapes, and more along with a well kept store and good customer service.
