I was surprised they did not ask me any questions related to my health, injuries, etc. I don't have any issues, but if someone came in with a back injury the staff would have no idea and probably cause some damage. This was our first time here and didn't know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. We have been to other major massage places but this is one of the best! Many of the folks there seem like English was not there first language but did a good job communicating. So don't be put off if there is a little language barrier. I found them to be warm and polite but some people (some of the poor reviews) may put off by cultural differences that they may seem distant or impersonal. We got the total one hour total relaxation massage and we both agreed it was one of the best massages we have gotten. The oils they used had a nice scent and they used a warm towel to wipe off most of the oil after the massage. The amount of pressure was just right for the both of us which I would describe as medium pressure. (My wife had a man and I had a women). The rooms have no doors just fabric drapes so privacy may be a bit awkward if you don't close them completely after you enter. They provide a large towel on the table to cover up so you can disrobe to your confront level or just ask them ahead of time. You also hear some of the other people walking down the hall at times but they have soft music as white background noise. They also post sign for quiet as massages are in progress. We will be back and we were please with the price and quality of the massage. read more

I wouldn't go back! The staff was very unprofessional; they were talking while I was getting a massage. I was never asked if I wanted a soft, medium or hard massage. They also stayed in the room while i was taking my clothes off... bra and everything- awkward! Then while getting my massage and with all the talking going on, I asked for a little harder and I guess I made the person mad. I thought I was gonna lose a foot. And I said "ouch" and the person looked at me and kept going. It got better towards the end but I rather pay more for a professional place that is actually relaxing. I guess you get what you pay for. I'm quite sure this was the best massage of my life! I come from out of town to visit my in-laws, and this is always a stop we make - my mother in law comes almost every week! Tina was out of this world. I think they said she's the most-requested there! It's so inexpensive, I always give her $20+ for a tip - which still puts me far below what I would have paid anywhere else! I've been to many high-end spas where after the massage I felt like it was good enough, and got the job done, but I wasn't va-va-voom floating in the clouds impressed. When I leave here, my body feels great, and I'm in the best mood. I got in the car with my mother in law after this (9th?10th?) visit and we stared at each other, didn't have the words for how good it was. Will NOT return to this business! We used to go regularly because it was inexpensive and a reasonably good massage. Now, however, their service has driven us away for good. We make appointments but they keep us waiting in the lobby for 15-30 minutes every time. Last time we waited 25 minutes, then, about 10 minutes into our massage, the owner walks in leading a second couple to share our room! WTF! Why not just give us our massage on the sidewalk? You can't relax when a couple of strangers are 3 feet away (one of them coughing and hacking up a lung apparently). We left. Won't come back. Plenty of competition giving the same service. Oh. And the place isn't all that clean. Gritty floor. Questionable cleanliness on the towels you're laying on. read more

This place used to have excellent massage staff, but recently all the talented ones have left and it's gone from amazing to just awkward and slightly painful. My kids so a better job. This time I was charged before the massage instead of after, they had raised the price by $5, and asked for a tip before the service was rendered. I paid for an hour and it was ended after 50 minutes with at least another 5 of that being her leaving the room for no apparent reason. It's quite a shame. They should focus on getting quality massage staff again, lowering the price and raising the quality again. I was a walk-in today. Looking to relax and have a nice foot reflexology. First, the therapist came in with gloves on she came from the previous massage (didn't wash her hands in front of me). I asked her to put on a new pair of gloves and was resistant. It was impossible to relax after that. She didn't want to make me comfortable, she felt like I was putting her out. Then she man-handled my feet. Half way through doing both legs, she got up and plopped a cloth over my eyes and sarcastically said it was clean. It was uncomfortable being because her energy was not there to make me feel relaxed or assured. She ended with a thai compression on my legs that was uncomfortable (didn't know that was coming). She also only did the reflexology for 25 mins instead of 30. It felt rushed. I wouldn't go back and will tell others in Ahwatukee not to go there either. read more

I had a REALLY weird experience here. I was drawn here due to the great yelp reviews and the prices too. Since I had time to kill while I waited for my flight I decided to come get a massage. First of all, when I walked in the woman who greeted me asked what I wanted and I told her a 1 hour fully body massage. She then sat there for another five minutes before she disappeared to the back and came back to get me. When I first walked into the room I was suppose to get my FULLY BODY massage in, I realize immediately that she put me in the room where people get their feet massage. When my masseuse comes in he has a hot water tub with him and places it in front of me. I then tell him I don't want a foot massage and he gets the front desk lady to talk to me. I repeat myself and tell her what I want very clearly. Afterwards she talks to my masseuse in Chinese telling him to just do a fully body on me in the giant public room as she didn't want to put me in a private room. (They didn't know I speak Chinese). He asks me to take off my clothes in this room and lay on the dirty foot massage recliner. I was so uncomfortable! I was confused because why would I get a full body massage in the room where they do foot massages?! And be exposed to anyone who walked by or other people getting a foot massage? I was pretty desperate for a massage so I just did what my masseuse asked me to do. The massage itself was pretty good. I told him to use more pressure and he did. He found my knots and really worked on them the best he could. What bothered me was I could hear EVERYTHING that was going on in the front and everytime a customer came in or out and their exchange with the front desk lady. I noticed a COMPLETELY different attitude with the other customers than with me. Because of how loud everything was where I was getting my massage, I couldn't relax. When my massage was done I was charged a higher rate than what is advertised online and what people on yelp have been saying they're charged. When I mentioned this to the front desk lady she just told me that I was wrong and was very rude to me. I felt so uncomfortable with the whole situation that I just paid and left. Overall, the customer service is HORRIBLE although I did hear how nice they were with other customers. The massage is decent but not worth what the individual charged me. I should've stood up to the rude management but I didn't want to be disrespectful. It's all gravy now but I think other clients should know to not let the staff make you uncomfortable in any way. They just opened. I was having coffee 2 doors down and had some time to kill, so I walked in and got the 1 hour massage. It was fantastic! The thing I really liked was that after they work on a part of your body, they wipe off the oil with a steamy towel so you don't walk out feeling like the Gulf of Mexico. Kept my clothes on throughout, though I had to lift my shirt for the lady to work on my back. Recommend wearing shorts and a loose shirt (ladies - a sports bra). I appreciate reading all the reviews before I went as this definitely is one of the best places I have been to in Chandler and I have to give it 5 stars! I had Peter for 1 hour and he was excellent! The hot towel they put under your back and neck is awesome! $30 an hour was the same price I have paid at all the other places, but the quality of the massage here was far superior! The other 2 places I tried gave me a bottle of water, whereas this place does not, but it does have a water dispenser in the entry. Peter knew exactly where all of my pressure points were and he definitely knew what he was doing also applying the correct pressure! Gordon was a nice young man at the front desk and he is the son of Josie, the owner. I was hungry and he gave me an excellent recommendation to the Asian HK Restaurant close by. I have already made an appointment for next week! If Peter is busy, then I hope the other therapists are as good! When I arrived, there were people leaving and when I left, there were people waiting - all a good sign that this place does good business! read more

$30 for an hour and $45 for 90 minutes is an amazing deal. Our massage lasted the entire time--no shortcuts. We began with our feet in a bucket of warm water and were told to lay back on the table while our feet soaked. We were massaged with reflexology on our head and face, shoulders neck, all pressure points. Arms, hands...completely. Feet and legs were next. After that we were instructed to roll over. Back, lower buttocks and legs were massaged. This was an all-over treatment. Very thorough! Remember--this is reflexology, so the massage may not be what you are traditionally used to. The massage is rubbing, stroking and massage of pressure points. On the feet it can get uncomfortable, however the end result is worth it. The entire lymphatic system is triggered to drain toxins from the body. We left feeling refreshed and completely relaxed, and no more hunched shoulders! Definitely going back! TIP: Wear loose clothing...your practitioner may have you undress in stages. Also, no make-up is best, as the face and head are massaged with oil. It is expertly removed afterward with a warm damp towel. read more

I feel I was mislead by the good yelp reviews. I had an overall bad experience. I also had a lady that started by massaging my face, which was awkward as I've never experience that anywhere and I have had a lot of good quality massages. I told her to please not massage my face, then she moved to scalp and it felt like she was just scratching it up and down with her nails--again I've had very good scalp massage. So I told her to move on to my arms and do the reflexology that I thought I would be getting. It was apparent to me that she didn't what she was doing..and seriously doubt this woman is certified. We were expecting a foot massage and ended up getting a below average body massage from what I think are unlicensed massage "therapists". They don't speak English well, and didn't ask what we wanted, if there were any problem areas to avoid, etc. My companion ended up with a severe headache from the "therapist" pressing too hard on her head. I think this is a case of you get what you pay for - low cost massage with low quality. I will say the room looked clean, they were on time, and they played soothing music. read more
