It's nice having locally grown sprouts and mixed greens available as well. They even have some lovely locally produced soaps, salt, and other items if you're looking for good gifts. Employees are friendly and helpful, check-out lines usually move pretty quickly, most of the time there is ample parking, and the restrooms are clean.

Depending on gas prices and foreign exchange on any given day, I'll typically save between 30 and 40 cents per litre on my fills, which usually works out to around $20-$30 CAD in savings. Over time it adds up pretty fast. Worth the drive, especially for my van which has has a large gas tank. They're also super friendly in the store. The last couple times I went down I grabbed several cases of pop (stuff not available in Canada), and both times they offered to help me bring them out to my car. Very helpful and courteous.

Upon a closer look, we found selections of late-summer/early-fall fruits & produce - including pumpkins, pumpkin gourds, and some very 'cool-looking' dried, ornamental corn cobs. There was no way I could pass catching some of the latter, and picked out four, colourful cobs to purchase and bring home for the makings of an Autumn and Thanksgiving table set up. Our rather short, and inexpensive stop, was fun & friendly, and produced some "fun colour" to bring home for Thanksgiving!

They had good options, ranging from ribs, corn dogs, orange chicken, and taquitos, as well as different soups. Unlike everywhere else on Orcas Island, the food here was always a good price ans didn't feel like expensive, "island pricing". I understand many people come here to shop and I can say that the grocery prices seemed to be comparable to prices you'd find on the mainland at Fred Meyer. The staff was always nice and friendly and the store itself was clean, well kept and organized. Sitting right in the heart of Eastsound makes it quite convenient as well. I definitely appreciated the sitting area to eat my food from the hot bar in the front of the store. My only major gripe was though they had wifi, no employee over my months of visiting was ever able to recall what the password was to access it which I found quite annoying. Otherwise, its a good store with a good hot bar for a quick lunch!
