On June 16, 2025, I walked into the store and asked about an imported wine cooler, specifically "Baby Cham," and I was immediately racially profiled. I was directed to the last coolers in the back corner of the store. As I headed in the direction of the coolers, I stopped to look at some other liquor that caught my eye, because of the designs of the bottles. I noticed that the white man who was behind the counter when I entered the store came over to where I was looking at the bottles on the shelves, he stated to me that his boss was on the camera watching me and that he wanted me to close my pocketbook. I had just retrieved a pen to write a phone number. I asked him Are you serious? Your boss is watching me from a camera, and he said he wants my pocketbook closed? His response was a solid "Yes!" I said, 'Well, I'm not going to close my pocketbook, but you can have it!' He declined! He then stated, "You came in asking for a wine cooler and now you are asking about these liquors on the wall?" Yes, I replied. When I asked him what his boss's name is, he wouldn't answer. What he did was he began to stutter, he got upset and he told me that I needed to leave the store, which I had absolutely no problem doing. I took my black ass and my black $$ out of their establishment. I searched the State's Website and the CEO/President lists Srey Long of 8 Adams Road, Dracut, Massachusetts, with a registered agent Sandra Ping Long, who lives in Beacon Hill at 205 Beacon St 3, Boston, Massachusetts 02116. It appears that these people (owners) live in affluent communities and bring the poison into our black neighborhoods, plus they are living off the black dollars, but they want to treat us as if we are nothing whenever we spend our money with them. If that's the case and Super Liquors doesn't wish to "Blacks" shopping in their store, it's okay now, under Trump, to place signs at the front doors stating that their business is for "Whites Only" or "MAGA Supporters Only." Racist Profiling is prominently displayed in this Hyde Park location. It appears there are a significant amount of blacks and other minorities supporting this place, I would strongly suggest that you take your Black $$ elsewhere. The store had what I wanted but just like everyone else in the comments talking about bad service from a specific person... first and last time I'll ever go. Just drive by and go to the next store, should've never bought anything and left! I feel sorry for the workers. read more

This is my go-to liquor store. They have a great selection of spirits and wine but I come here for the craft beers. Yes, you may be able to get a better selection of craft beers in Somerville or Cambridge, but in the Milton/Hyde Park area, they're the best. Also, it's conveniently located next to a Walgreens, an ATM, and the best Stop & Shop I've ever been to. There's also a huge parking lot and the people who work there are friendly and helpful. read more

Ahhh, Lanks! Just a few short steps from my door.... Here's the scoop. I discovered a great brand of Sake' on a trip to California. When I got home I went nuts trying to find it in the Boston area. I even asked to it have special-ordered from a well known liquor store...they said I needed to buy a case. I wasn't ready to commit. Then, I strolled into my local: LANKS. I asked if they could get two bottles and they said, okay. Their general markup is lower than a lot of stores and they had my Sake' in less than a week. Now they stock it regularly and I've sent a few folks over to check it out. The product: Sho Chiku Bai Nigori (unfiltered) Sake'. Served cold, it's sweet and comes in a big ol' bottle. I had I terrible experience here. God forbid you ask the old balding guy a question he might pull out a trident or bow and arrow. Sorry to ask you a work related question while you are working. I usually wouldn't take time to yelp a package store. Walk in buy beer walk out. Simple enough. When I asked old lucifer if he had bud lights in the tin bottles he replied " maybe look before wasting my time". Didn't know your package store hours were so important there. Drive by this place and hit the next store. Or maybe go in an give the old man a hard time. read more

For the size of this place it should have a better craft beer selection. I found Richards Wine & Spirits in Readville better choice and its half the size. read more

Best experience thus far at a liquor store. I went in last week looking for a specific beer I hoped they carried but did not like most stores. The gentlemen took down my number and said they would try to get a shipment in of the Ace Pineapple Cider the following week. They called me back and I came right over to pick it up. Yay, I'm a Fan, seems to be where we land...It's close, convenient and carries a very good selection for our needs/wants...We like the box wines discount, buy 4, for 10%: off. The flavored generic vodkas and affordable name brand stuff is great...Not a 'craft beer' patron here, so that selection doesn't matter to me. read more

Service is poor...I asked an elderly man if they carried ginger vodka and mojito mix. His response was no and that no one carries ginger vodka. He was pretty rude. I went to Blanchards in West Roxbury and guess what - they carried ginger vodka, mojito mix and service was excellent. I will not be returning here. read more

The new store is huge and gorgeous. They carry pretty much everything I come in for and at the lowest prices I've seen around. Impressive selection of microbrews, wines and hard stuff, especially for the area. read more
