With Sergio at the helm, my husband and I really got to decompress and enjoy one another's company, we shared some wine, and even took a nap or two as we sailed along. My only interaction with the club is as the parent of campers in the summer program. The camp...well it kinda blows chunks. Of lameness. The counselors seem to be phoning in their performances (literally, they appear to be constantly on their phones and not engaged with the campers) and there is remarkably little opportunity for campers to receive sailing instruction. There is an opportunity to use sailboats, and there is some lecture type instruction at the beginning of the day, but for a week at sailing camp my children did remarkably little sailing and learned remarkably little about sailing. Watching sailing videos on YouTube was literally more helpful than the camp itself. That's gotta tell you something. Also, the office, while pleasant, was sorely disorganized.
