    The boat

Amazing snorkeling trip May 8 at 12:30 with Dan and Jason who were awesome. Took amazing pictures and showed us everything very friendly and definitely worth it.

Great friendly staff that are honest and prevented us from snorkeling on a bad day. We appreciated their honestly to not go snorkeling due to winds will cloud visibility. We ended up renting a kayak and headed over to peanut island. What a nice medium effort kayak. It was a great day!

We had a great day tubbing with captain John! He even took us to Peanut Island and let the boys snorkel. I would highly recommend!

We booked Get Wet Watersports catamaran boat to take us out in the ocean for my friend's bachelorette party. We had a great time and the crew was very accommodating to doing whatever we felt in the mood for. They took us out to sea where we could jump in and swim around in the ocean and then we also got to dock in closer to other boats and float around on the giant lily pad which was lots of fun. The boat was clean and we could also play our music over the Bluetooth speakers which was a plus. We also started late since the previous party was running behind but they kept us out even later which was great!

    Kayak rental- peanut island

Get Wet Watersports is one of the locations that provides kayak rentals to use to kayak to Peanut Island. They were reasonably priced, actually the best priced in the area, with a snorkeling package for two being only $100 ($130 online after taxes and fees). Arrive early, as they do get busy and the weather changes quickly. My service was at first not too pleasant; young lady with the black, short hair/ bob was really snippy because I didn't have my card that I booked with online. I had multiple different ways to show it was my information. I had to walk back to the car to get and show another card. ID was not enough. That's understandable, but kindness does a long way. Thankfully, a young man stepped in upon my return and he was great to work with. I definitely recommend for the price and rentals provided.

We rented kayaks and snorkeling gear. Nate was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend renting with them!

    Peanut island

We had an outstanding kayak and snorkel tour experience. While I'm quite comfortable kayaking and snorkeling on my own, my husband was a beginner, so we opted for the guided tour. It turned out to be a fantastic decision, largely thanks to our guide, Nate. He was not only pleasant and fun but also incredibly knowledgeable about the local area. Nate went above and beyond to l ensure we saw incredible marine life, including some I'd never encountered before. I'm so happy we chose this tour and would wholeheartedly recommend a trip with Nate. I also felt really safe with Nate and in our very small group.

    Peanut island!

We had a great experience here! Nate, the gentleman who helped us was amazing and explained the area very well. Even with gloomy weather it was still a fun day on the kayaks and we saw lots of fish, a jellyfish and crabs. No manatees, but Nate explained the right seasons to come to see the right stuff. Will definitely rent again (paddle boards this time if the water permits!) if in the area.

    A chilly Christmas Eve night
    Tim S.

We were with Get Wet Watersports this past Christmas Eve. It wasn't a snorkel trip or anything, it was a Christmas lights trip. I had heard about it and figured it would be a perfect Florida way to see lights. It wasn't too hard to find, there was a fella with the company outside the gate leading to the boat docks that led us to our ride. It was funny to see the responses from the crew and the guests to the cold. it was about 45 degrees, which it sure wasnt 2 weeks before when I had gotten the tickets. Everyone was bundled up good. The company had sent an email that day suggesting we bring a blanket, which did help alot. It was a pleasant ride(other than the biting cold), with Christmas music playing, the crew handing out beers and of course lights. There wasn't actually that much in the way of lights over all, just a handful of houses that stepped up. But it was still a nice night. There was a sense of comradery among everyone that we were goign through this together on that chilly night. After it all we kindly said good bye. I'm sure I will recommend to plenty of people for next year!

I just moved to South Florida from Connecticut and brought my kayak with me in hopes of seeing some wildlife. My boyfriend doesn't have a kayak of his own and suggested we book a rental with a tour guide to show us around - I am so glad we did! Misty and her super cute canine, Abu, were the most amazing tour guides ever. Before our arrival, Misty kept in contact with excellent communication. She provided quality rental equipment, and not only did we feel very safe the entire time, she is an expert at spotting wildlife. The Peanut Island paddle was suggested for us - we were so blessed to see an abundance of manatees floating under us, a stingray, a starfish so big I almost called the Guinness Book of World Records (haha only half-joking!) and plenty of beautiful birds, lizards and fish. The excursion took about two hours and we never felt rushed at all, although it was just the right amount of time before we started to get a little tired. Can't thank Salty Dog Paddle enough for this incredibly special and very memorable experience. Misty was even thoughtful enough to take photos and videos for us which she sent after - she really was the best part of this experience for us!! Highly recommended!!!

I loved that it offers so many activities in one place--kayaking, paddleboarding, the beach, picnic areas, a gift shop, and educational exhibits--all at very reasonable prices. Parking was only $5, and the kayak and paddleboard rentals were affordable too. Unfortunately, I happened to visit on a day with an extremely low tide. Paddleboard rentals were suspended, but kayak rentals were still available. The staff did warn us about the low tide and advised us to stay near the edges to avoid getting stuck. However, as someone new to kayaking, I didn't realize just how much the tide would impact the experience. For a large portion of our trip, the water was so shallow that our kayaks constantly got stuck. We had to repeatedly get out and drag them through the water. At times, the water wasn't even ankle deep. I completely understand that the staff can't control the tides, but I honestly wish kayak rentals had also been paused that day because the conditions made it difficult to really enjoy the experience. By the time we finished kayaking, we were exhausted and felt pretty gross from walking through the murky water, so we ended up skipping the beach altogether. Outside of that, the park itself looked lovely. There was a nice picnic area, a cute gift shop, and they even had a rescued sea turtle with a volunteer sharing information about sea turtle conservation, which was a really nice touch. There also appeared to be several educational exhibits throughout the park, although they happened to be closed during our visit. One downside was a pretty unpleasant smell near the gift shop, but I'm guessing that may have also been related to the unusually low tide. Despite my experience, I haven't written the park off. The photos I've seen online make it look absolutely beautiful, and I think we were just unlucky with the timing. I'd definitely consider coming back on a day with higher water levels to give it another chance. It sounds like a great park overall--I just recommend checking the tide conditions before planning to kayak or paddleboard so you can enjoy it at its best.

I've wanted to do a paddle boarding eco tour for a while now. After a lot of research I found one…read morethat I was happy with at South Florida Paddle. Why you ask? I would say my biggest reason was location. The location (Lake Worth Lagoon/Munyon Island) is a preserved area and really shows you what Florida looked like before it was overly populated. Once you are out on the lagoon you feel cut off from the world which is awesome, especially since you are only separated by some mangrove trees. After I decided the location I contacted SFP and spoke to Marissa. I let her know I was organizing a large group of us to go out (12 of us in total) and she not only gave us an awesome group discount but she set up a private link so everyone could pay separately and only the people in my group could access it! One great tip I will give you is that the meet up location is just past Macarthur Beach Park and it is on the east side (left) of the road. It is not a building it is just the road. You will see the truck and trailer with all the paddle boards as your clue. Parking is free! Another good tip is to wear swim shoes if you have them. Not necessarily for the paddle boarding but for when you take your break on Munyon Island. The beach is pretty rocky and it's an untouched island so if you want to explore it a little, having shoes would be ideal. I actually found a hermit crab as soon as we landed but wished I remembered my swim shoes so I could have explored the island more (next time for sure!). Marissa our guide also provided us with water during our break. She really knows a lot about the area and I think we all learned a lot about the island and the animals on land and in the sea around us. It is really something you have to experience for yourself to really appreciate it. After a short review on safety and some tips on how to properly paddle board we went out one by one, out on the lagoon, such a beautiful view I might add. The day was perfect as well not a cloud in the sky. I have been on a paddle board before but many people in my group have never been. Some were fairly nervous but soon realized that it wasn't that hard to do and felt confident fairly quickly. It was great to see everyone working together as a team, and despite only a few falls in the water lol, I think everyone did awesome and had a great time. We saw a dolphin, sting rays, flying fish and some cool birds while we were out. It was definitely an amazing day! They also offer night time tours and many others so they have a lot to choose from. I am already thinking about the next tour to book! Maybe one of the LED night time guided Full Moon tours! If you are looking for something different and want a unique way to learn more about the area and just want something FUN to do then go paddle boarding! Trust me it's great for beginners and you will not regret this amazing experience of being out on the water so close to nature.
