I am originally from California so I've been receiving treatment from Face Reality's headquarters but from 2014-2015 I lived in Dallas. During my brief year in Texas, my skin was severely dry and breaking out like crazy. I tried using all kind of moisturizing cream but I just couldn't get my skin to hydrate enough. I did some research from the Face Reality site to see if I could find an esthetician in Texas so I could continue my routine. Luckily, Nancy's office was somewhat close by and she also had been trained by Laura so I was super happy to see her to help me with my skin. At this time I was near Farmer's Branch so the drive to Frisco was lengthy but worth it (in my opinion). Nancy was thoughtful and listened to my struggles with the dry weather and acne. She provided the same treatments that I had at Face Reality's headquarters and she also carried many Face Reality products as well! I was so happy I would be able to pick up products instead of having to wait for them to ship to my apartment. My skin improved immediately as soon as I started getting the chemical peels and extractions. I was so used to thorough extractions from the California office that I was surprised how quick and painless my extractions were with Nancy (or maybe I just didn't have many pimples!). Expect the appointment to be around 30 mins total. Of course this could be longer depending on the severity of your acne. Her office is in a small plaza with a small parking lot. The times I've gone for appointments, I was always able to find parking but if the lot is full, there' street parking since the surrounding area is in a residential area. Overall, if you are suffering from acne and dryness, I'd recommend to at least get a consultation with Nancy. Face Reality has helped (and is continuing to help) me with my adult acne, and you won't be sorry because the products and routine really does work!! :) Thank you Nancy!

Nancy validated all of my concerns and actively listened when I told her about my struggles with acne. She doesn't just give you a skincare plan (anyone can do that). She gives you diet and lifestyle changes to consider and also gives you lists of ingredients to avoid in your hair, skin, and home products and in your food! I thought I was very conscious about my products and my diet, and then she politely steered me in a better direction. If you're looking for alternatives to anything, she can help you find them AND they will all be acne safe! In addition, if you have sensitive skin, she's your best bet. My skin is VERY sensitive and I have reactions to nearly everything! She tested different products on me and found a routine that was safe for my sensitive skin and even helped me toughen my skin up so it's not as reactive as it once was. Trust the process! Take lots of pictures! Your skin will slowly but surely start to improve. It has been a night and day difference for me and I've only been seeing her for 7 weeks! Investing in your skin will be the best investment you ever make. I started this journey to get clear for my wedding in the spring, but I'm quickly realizing that this is a lifestyle I really enjoy!

It's hard to find professionals that still offer super thorough facials and don't rush through every step then shoo you out the door. I typically get the Puracne oxygen specialty facial and she always spends over an hour cleansing, exfoliating, applying masks, steaming, extracting, and disinfecting my face.. ya know, the works (how do I know all this? Because she's thorough, and I ask a lot of questions.. heh.) The process is super relaxing start to finish.. except the extractions, which are a necessary evil since I'm prone to lots of blackheads haha. Never had any issues with scarring on any of the extractions done on my face, and by the end of the facial, my skin SO DANG SOFT. Love that she is open on Saturdays, but just make sure to call/text her to make an appointment as she does not do walk in's. I don't even live in Dallas anymore, but I don't trust anyone else with my face and continue to schedule appointments with her whenever I'm in town for the holidays/vacation. She has a room in the back of Evelyn Kershaw salon so you can enter through the hair salon's front entrance, where the front desk can help guide you, or there's also a back entrance and parking lot you can enter from. Her room is well kept, clean, and comfortable. Facials can be a little pricey but it's a luxury I think is well worth the investment and something I look forward to each time.

Hmmm...where do I start?…read more 1. I'm taken back to the room and ridiculed for not having them give me a flu shot (sorry but not injecting poison for a 3% success rate) 2. Dr. Rachel Quinby-Graves and her assistant making fun of me for telling her that I was putting tea tree oil on the spot I was concerned about...it's only worked for thousands of years but yaaaaa SCIENCE (eye roll) 3. HORRIBLE BEDSIDE MANNER!!! Rude is an understatement. 4. I have her remove a small mole above my eyebrow. When I take the bandage off the very next day, THE MOLE IS STILL THERE!!!!!!! I'm hit with a bill for hundreds of dollars for something that is still very much there. Hmmm...curious who's mole she sent to get biopsied? 5. I call billing...explain I'm not paying for the mole removal or biopsy, but happy to pay for the visit. The lady is very kind and says she needs to speak with the office about how they want to proceed. They call me back WEEKS later and basically tell me to F off and that the bill needs to be paid in full. So ya...maybe go to ANY other doctor and practice. It's tucked back from the road in a strip of offices, so use your GPS to find it. There's a roadside sign, but it's not super obvious and there are several business names on it. They remodeled the front lobby / waiting area in the last year, and it looks snazzy. The front desk folks are nice enough, as are the checkout folks. I may not be the mole guy from Austin Powers, but I inherited a lot of moles from both Mom and Dad. They've both had several removed, and I started having moles lopped off in high school. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone and everyone visit a dermatologist and have their moles and freckles checked out. Skin cancer is the #1 cancer, and it's easy to be proactive about. North Texas Dermatology has done a good job at helping me keep up with this proactive care, and I appreciate that! I've almost always seen Pam Murray. She's excellent, and she does a good job at making a dude not feel too self conscious about stripping down almost naked to having every square inch of skin checked out. Any mole removal she's performed has been completely painless. All in all, no complaints. Good place. Easy 5 stars.

They made it more difficult than a gym membership to cancel. I wanted to share with others: USE your credits otherwise they're gone once you terminate contract. I was a couple of days out of my canceled contract and lost that previous months unused credit. The company's main focus is to gain memberships and require you stay there for so many months without the option of canceling when you want. Therapy staff was nice. It is the business that deserves 1 star.
