I bought one car wash on 12/30/24. Returned the next day, after I discovered that the rear of the car was filthy. I was told "it is not our policy to wash the rear!" Eventually the manager agreed to wash my car a second time, hosing down the rear. One month later, I was billed a second time for this car wash (or perhaps it was for the second wash). I contacted Super Star on 2/1/25 and received a promise that I would hear back from them within three business days. It has now been nine business days (review written on 2/13/25). They haven't corrected this charge yet. I can excuse the poor car wash. I can not excuse their refusing to correct an overbilling. read more

I came today to get a fast car wash and vacuum. The attendants were pleasant and professional. They helped me determine what I needed for my red car in the desert sun. I purchased a monthly pass, since the cost is around 2 washes. That's a pretty good deal. A couple of the vacuums need to be repaired already. I had to move my car to find one with enough suction. Hopefully they will get that repaired right away. They provide plenty of soft shop towels, window cleaner and a high pressure hose to blow out crevices. Super Star is the worst car wash and the worst company you could ever experience!! Bar none!!! If you sign up for monthly washes you may never be able to get them to stop billing you. You will definitely not be able to speak to someone regarding issues. I asked time after time via email to have someone call with zero response. No address to be able to go in person to the company. I have the unlimited monthly on two of my vehicles, but not my third. After this last visit I will be canceling them all. The cleaning brushes and water jets do not always turn on when they are supposed to. All washes despite the price tier have spinners at some point attempt to clean the top and both sides of the car. Multiple times I've had one or more not working. This last time I brought the third vehicle (not on the monthly plan) and raised a concern that the entire top and right side of my vehicle was not properly washed and asked for it to be corrected. I was denied a rewash with the manager telling me "you get what you pay for". The brushes are not cleaned and often times after the wash there are more black steaks on the white vehicle than before it was put through the machine. It's also ridiculous that the employees park their cars in the vacuum / covered spots when on the weekends there is often nowhere to park. Terrible service and terrible products. read more

I just hate to do this. I'm so frustrated with this company. As I said on October 17, the car wash is fine. But the management of the place leaves a lot to be desired. Again, I'm in Cave Creek, so other locations may not have this problem. I figured out what went wrong, I have been charged twice for the monthly membership fee. WHICH I DID NOT EVER SIGN UP FOR!!! Not only did they charge me that fee, they also charged me for the car wash when I took my car through. So, Superstar, which one is it? Do I have a membership or not? Still no way to get hold of these people. Yes, someone sent me an email address, which I promptly used to send in my question. BUT, one month later and no response from said emailed person. Now - do I cancel my credit card? Right before Thanksgiving? Or will Superstar handle this properly? Or do I report them for using my card without permission? This is a simple fix. You can NEVER get through to the customer service regarding billing, you are instructed to email them and supposedly they will get back to you within 3 days. I have attempted this 3 times with no response. They have double billed me every month for 5 months. I finally cancelled membership because again no communication and still was charged after cancellation. My bank refunded only one month but I am trying to get them to reverse other charges. This business is not worth the hassle we have had to go through. So frustrating! read more

The gentlemen are also super friendly to me. I unfortunately have a sunset license plate which at times makes the scanners hard to read my plate/pass etc. They are also so quick to key it in for me and are nice in the process. Worst customer relations ever. I signed my wife up for unlimited car washes. They put a sticker on the windshield for ID and every time she's goes to get a wash they tell her we're no in the system. We have their sticker and we took a copy of my current credit billing showing the payment deducted but they still refused to wash the car. The manager is not pleasant or understanding. I'm seasonal in Cave Creek AZ. I bought memberships for both of my Yukon's as there was a special going on. All went well until I took the older Yukon down and it broke the rear wiper off. They said they got it fixed so I went in again and it broke it for the second time. One of the employees gave me $20 out of his own pocket. He said they were fixing it again. I went thru a couple days later and it broke it again. In total its broken 3 of them. I decided to cancel my services with them. I canceled the one the beginning of March and told them to cancel the other one the end of March. They after charging me an extra month on the first vehicle and 2 extra months on the second one. I can't reach anyone nor have they ever contacted me on the repairs. I had to Call my CC company and stop charges. I disputed the 3 charges. I liked the place but will not use it again next year. Its just too hard to get anyone to respond. Too bad. I'll use the one in town next year. read more

I have been back twice since the first time and each time I am pleased with the wash, and I love the free towels, great vacuums, and even free air for my tires, if needed. I stopped in. Back in July. Ran the car through. They were new in the area. The Suv was A 2020 Mazda CX5. I was headed home. I heard a scraping noise. I pulled over to see what was. The wheel bezel. Was hanging off. I removed it. It was damaged. Windy Crow stop in the next day. Filled out information. They did not have a claim form. She was instructed to get it repaired. Which we did.gave them the repair bill. That was August. Windy called claims several times. They said that they would reimburse us for the amount. It now December. My husband and I both have monthly memberships. The quality of the wash has greatly diminished. The towels are are not cleaned throughly and as a result leaves streaks after drying. You cannot clean windows with the towels and window cleaner provided as they leave grease film marks that very difficult to remove. Very often towels are no replenished and you have to walk several stalls to retrieve. Additionally, the stalls are often littered with debris and dirt. Currently looking for a better option in Carefree area. read more

Great great wash, reasonably priced. Coming out of that wash the car is cleaner than an hour at cobblestone with 8 pendejos pretending to dry the car and not doing anything. What I do is I use bug remover at home before I go, then get 'er washed at superstar. Comes out wonderfully, then I use their FREE vacuums to touch up the inside, glass cleaner for any smudges, and free hand towels to wipe down the door jambs and trunk seal/inside. Takes me less time and it's almost as good as a detail. And today the manager simply took care of me when the internet coupon wasn't coming up on my phone. They've even got really good employees! I am loyal as a puppy dog when something goes wrong and a manager steps in and fixes it immediately. They've earned my business. By the way, I did not buy the monthly subscription but it's worth it if you're obsessed with automobile cleanliness. read more

I've never been a huge fan of automatic car washes but I needed one since it just rained and have been busy and omw home I stopped in just to get a basic car wash but the machine wouldn't read my card and I was struggling to get it to read and the worker named kash came out to help me and he gave me the wash for free so shout out to that guy for helping he was very friendly and nice definitely good at customer service. read more

***Update*** After MONTHS of trying to get my refund I finally get it after being FRAUDULENTLY charged for 6 months ( even asked for next charge, the 6th one, to be stopped when I caught the charges and they charged it anyway). I had been a customer of Super Star Car Wash for over 10 years and can't believe I was treated so poorly, had to threaten legal action for my refund (which was promised three times over more than a month before granted), was snapped at my Maritza the "customer service" girl who never answers her emails and calls you, if ever, from a blocked number. Not offered services or relief for charging my card without authorization for 6 months. I used to like this place but have never had someone offer you service (when you're trying to purchase one wash) and keep your card charging indefinitely without your approval. They kept saying they were sorry I wanted to cancel service, and I am getting my refund, I just need to wait. I am quite upset with how they low played the situation as this was FRAUD, not cancelation and not a requested refund but a claim to MY FUNDS. No reparations or in kind gesture was offered. I was excited about the new car wash In Cave Creek, I began to use their service a couple days after they opened. the staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. And the car wash was great! Now that we're into it for six weeks or so since it's opening and after I purchased a membership, It definitely has slipped in Service. The staff is still friendly but unfortunately I don't think there's been a day that they have opened on time! It's supposed to be 7:00 AM, today I was there at 7:45 AM and still closed. This is a daily issue. I need a clean car for my work and I need to be on time. I'll give them one more week if it's opened more then its closed I'll be happy to update my review. read more

I usually have a good experience here but the last few times have not been good. The camera can never read my license plate and membership. After waiting for 10 minutes, hoping somebody would come out and put the arm up so I could drive in. no one came out. They were busy on Saturday when this happened. So I paid eight dollars to go in. The guy there named Hayden I explained I just had to pay, yet I had a membership and he rushed me and said he would handle it later. He quickly moved me into the lane. I felt a repetitive "thumping" but figured it was something to do with the tracks. The car behind me did look very close to my suv. Get out of the dryer section and noticed the whole drivers side of car is filled of soap. I pull back into the line- can't get through the bar arm again. Get out of my car and try to flag the guy down (I had my 2 year old in the car). A woman came up from the car that was behind me and asked if my car was OK. I told her I thought so just a lot of soap all on the side. She said that thumping was their car being slammed into the back of my car over and over again. I have a 2 inch hitch on my car and that's what they were hitting. I got a hold of the guy and told him what had happened and he said he is super busy and if we had exchanged insurance information. I told him my car looked undamaged, but her car did have damage and she was that blue car parked in the first bay right there he should go talk to her. He said he would check into it. He let me through and I drove through the car wash and then parked my car. I went over to the woman to talk to her and she said he had not come back. I told her I would be emailing the store since they increased my membership price without letting me know. And I would also be bringing this up. She said the guy just kept rushing people through. Later on at a dinner banquet one of our friends said he had seen me at the car wash and said same thing that this guy was not paying attention and just shoving cars through the car wash. He said he thought that blue car was very close behind on my car as well. And I informed him my car was actually hit and hers had a small amount of damage to the front bumper. So far I have gotten an email response regarding only the fact that they increased my membership by $10 a month after 11 months since I had a "special". What a sorry excuse for customer service. Don't ever do business with this company. I went in for a car wash on 6/15 and my vehicle was damaged - my rear window wiper arm got broken in half from the brushes in the car wash! I then filled out a damage report while I was at the car wash and was told I would receive communications from the claims department in just a few days. I heard nothing. On 6/20, I went ahead and ordered a replacement wiper arm for my vehicle. The next day (6/21), I called the main phone number for the car wash and spoke with someone who assured me that I would hear back soon. They refused to provide me with a contact phone number or email address for anyone in the claims department. But, instead gave me a general email box to which I submitted a copy from my phone of the form I had already submitted on 6/15. I also included a picture of the damage, the receipt from the car wash and the receipt for the replacement part from my car dealer. They said it can take 10 days to hear back. Still heard nothing back from them. On 6/30, I called again and the representative I spoke with entered my claim into a claims system and ensured me that I would hear back within 24 hours. Well, even by 7/11 I have received nothing and now their main phone number will not allow me to talk to anyone, it just directs me to the website. I was blown away today by this place. Never in my life have I seen a self drive car wash with amenities like this. Everything brand new! The pay station easy to read and beautiful. Washing building with huge modern equipment. Price without a membership totally a value for what you get. New towels with spray and free vacuums for after, shaded area to finish up in, fun old school dance music playing which made detailing the car kinda fun?!, airguns to blow crumbs from your console, free air for tires. Oh yea! And a great scented car hanger for inside your car and two wipes for your tires! I didn't buy a package cuz I'm not here year round but the non member price for the medium grade wash of $16 was very reasonable. The best part was Angelo! So friendly, happy and helped me to drive into machine which was new to me and checked in with me twice to see if I needed anything.
