Like many other reviewers have pointed out, the employees of this location "CD" and "Bruce" are completely disrespectful. They don't follow Costco policy. They give Costco a bad name. Get ready to get stared down, yelled at and be treated very badly if you visit this location's car wash. read more

This is a great inexpensive car wash that does the job if you only want an outside wash. It comes out clean and pretty much dry from the dryers and you barely have to wipe it down to finish the drying. read more

The car wash itself was affordable, but unfortunately when I went through the car wash I noticed the pressure wasn't great. After leaving I decided to vacuum my carpets and that's when I noticed that my rims were scuffed. They also had black residue stuck on them. Then I noticed the carwash didn't wash off the rain stain on the car. I would personally avoid this place. Now my rims have are scuffed and scratched :( read more

Not sure why there are so many sub-par reviews here for a Costco Car Wash. Please find me a place an $8 automatic car wash place better than Costco. Honestly, this was a tough one. I am more of a hand-wash kind of person when it comes to my vehicles but I was in a bind that day and the panels were looking too dooky-like. I managed to squeeze in 5 minutes of my day to give this a try and I was impressed. It was not flashy like most of the other car wash places but that is what Costco is all about. They get the job done at an affordable price. The brushes seem to be barely touching the vehicle but it does. I've been to car washes where the brushes are too close to the vehicle for comfort. The wash also washes the undercarriage of the vehicle. It finishes the wash in a super windy tunnel that dries the vehicle in seconds. Impressive. read more

STINKS! The recycled water smells worse than a sewer. The smell gets into the vents, and into the inside of the car. The smell was like a rotten sewer. The next day, I could still smell it while driving. I now need to bring my car somewhere else to have it washed, and somehow gets that smell out of the vents and inside of my car. Loving getting gas and paying for a car wash at the same time! There's 2 car wash lines that merge into one; an attendant will direct you forward and mark your receipt with a pen. You can also just pay for a car wash separately in a machine with cards only. It's easy and cleans awesome. The line can get busy but they go fast. Of course, like always, you'll need to be a Costco member to use the car wash (or any Costco perk) but it's worth the membership! Every year our family of 2 (our kids are grown) pay for Executive membership but essentially pay $20 since $100+ is covered by our annual cash back. On Thursday Jan16th around 6 pm , I went through the Costco car wash , as I was driving into the bay the employee just stood there didn't make an attempt to guide me into the car wash and then scolded and reprimanded me that I didn't align my car with the guide rails . Only for $7.99, members only auto car wash here is pretty good. They have two lanes and four pay station to purchase your car wash. Don't forget to bring your membership card. It works just like Costco gas station. Once you purchase, show your receipt to the attendant. He/she will guide you to where you need to go. I am always nervous and told I need to steer just bit more right. Once you are on the rail, put your gear to neutral and don't step on break. Enjoy the car wash ride! For $7.99 car wash I honestly expected a little more, but can't complain as it was extremely convenient. The wait wasn't too long, and the wash machine seemed a tad bit longer than most car wash machines I'm used to. However; the washer didn't get all the dust and dirt off from the top of the van and the back window and bumper. It didn't do a great job on those. The sides came out okay but seemed like it left some residue. If I went through it twice, I'm guessing it would have gotten everything it missed. But I think it's just missing the large spinning part that goes over the top of the car. If it had this, it would have probably cleaned off the dirt 100%. I also removed my antenna but I might not have had to. read more

Car washes in this town can be pretty pricey! But you can't beat the 7.99 car wash from Costco! It scuba the tires pretty well, if you have a seriously dirty vehicle from perhaps off roaming. It might not get it all. The only suggestion I can make is bring a drying rag, and when you pull out of the dryer section, pull on the side of the building and wipe out your door jams to prevent the water dripping and leaving marks. This was a great car wash experience. For $8 definitely worth the 10 minute wait and wash. Our large suv came out sparkling clean with minimal water spots. My only complaint was the advertised sign talking about tire dressing. No such thing. But the truck looked great and it was easy right after getting gas and before shopping. So convenient. I'm visiting from Charlotte and the Costco we have doesn't have a car wash. So I decided to swing by and see what it's about. Everything at Costco revolves around long wait times. Gas, check out and apparently the car wash. Which didn't surprise me. It's a good deal so why not... We waited about 20 minutes. Not that bad. There was staff there to help out with scanning the cards for payment. Pretty efficient. We get our car ready for the wash... we are in and everything seems to be going well. Until I realize that the car wash was not putting soap or cleaning solutions on the right side of the car. Something was wrong and it seemed a little strange. After it was done, I had to park and clean the other side. Dirt was still there. I get better car washes else where. It was worth trying. But I'm hoping they don't bring this concept to our Costco in Charlotte. (Only if they plan to maintain it). read more

AMAZING WASH! For the price of $7.99 it does what a normal best wash for $29 does elsewhere. Washes are expensive and Costco again comes through with the value! Great wash and the dryers for me on my truck do great! Even got the tailgate dry! Yes the mirrors had some smooch on them still from the water but I carry a small container with a handy microfiber and cleaner. Easy!! Don't be scared with those Karen's reviews about bad service, those guys don't bite and they are super nice! Remember they work in 100+ degree heat so if your grubby well they might be too lol! Also most days I've seen them open a little before 10 so that's very considerate to members! Thank you Costco team!! read more

Needed my truck washed and I took it to Cobblestone on Scottsdale Road and Adobe. They wanted to charge extra for a little bit of mud I had on it. Went straight to Costco. They did a great job there and all the mud came off it! Way to go Costco!!! read more

I tried out the wash for the first time today. I'd say that overall it wasn't bad considering the price but it wasn't a perfect wash either. Overall the majority of the car body came out looking spic-and-span clean, but dead bugs remained on the front grill and...biggest issue...the entire front windshield was left with a soap film bad enough to require me to re-clean the entire windshield with Windex when I got home. It's clear that a lot of soap is applied during the washing process but not enough time, water, and/or pressure is used in the rinse cycle. Other than this, the experience including payment was relatively quick and easy, and the line moved reasonably quickly (10 minutes?) especially considering the volume of customers which I experienced at around 11:30 on a Saturday morning. I'll likely use this wash again for occasional minor in-a-pinch quick cleaning, but for a more thorough wash for special occasions, I'll splurge for Genie's car was at 7373 Shea, which though expensive has always given me a top-notch job. read more

I've used this car wash several times and true to everything else Costco, you might experience a wait and you'll get your receipt marked. But, the attendants are wonderful. I came with an especially filthy SUV following a road trip, and they let me know that if I needed to, I could go through twice to make sure it got as clean as possible. They even helped me merge back into the line so I didn't get accosted by others who were waiting. This is just one more reason I love Costco. read more
