Went this morning ordered first. First of all they were rushing me n then no rush to get all my food out. There was only one person with customer service the other two ladies had attitude for no reason. I had been told them my #1 PLAIN. Mind you this is how you know I wasn't tripping. A HUGE rush comes in of working men, I was waiting on my LAST sandwhich. These ladies made sure to get all the mens orders out before my LAST sandwhich, so ofc at this point im pissed. I see her pull the last bread out the oven which is mine. Nicely, i remind them its supposed to be plain. To which they chose to have an attitude towards. SO now at this point i have an attitude to which Susan who has 0 customer service skills starts popping off telling me that no its bc i took forever, the men ordered before me. Saying all these false things, so i start going back and forth with them telling them to just hurry up give me my shit so i can get the fuck up out of here. SUSAN came around the corner and threatened me. Idk what kind of business this is allowing these ladies to think its okay to be treating people this way because they're not a man that's attractive to them. They are here for work NOT TO FLIRT. Their boss really needs to evaluate how they're running this shop. Wow, I was going to post a picture but I ate them before I could. We asked the super helpful gentleman for the best doughnut that had just come out of the fryer/oven. He recommended a plain cake doughnut, which I never would have chosen on my own. It was AMAZING! Perfectly crunchy doughnut skin with a fluffy center. This place has zeeee BEST jalapeno, ham, and cheese croissants. The croissant is crispy, layered, and soft on the interior. The ham and cheese are uniform throughout the croissant and has plenty of jalapenos to keep it lit. (Insert fire emoji). Definitely one of the best ham and cheese croissants in the area. Their donuts are great too! We bought a maple bar at 3PM and when I ate it at 9PM for dessert is was still super fresh tasting! Amazing! Staff was great too! read more

Why I posted as a 3 star. It could have been a five star but honestly the reason being is because the lady didn't want to print a receipt. Now I don't need a receipt but my boss does for his business and to pay me back. The donuts were awesome to eat. I even ordered an ice coffee just to see what it was like. Good quality just a lot of ice. Got 3/4 of a cup filled with ice. All I have to say make sure you say I want a receipt because they don't print them automatically or even ask if you want a receipt. My family has been going to Super Star donuts since moving to Fontana in 1991. I grew up going to the shop at 4:00 am to get first dibs on the freshest donuts. Their old fashioned and cake donuts are officially THE BEST. I now live in Oakland, have a brother in LA, and another in Chicago, to this day- Super Star donuts is our favorite!!! When I graduated college I had a "donut bar" made of donuts from the shop (had to pre-order). You don't know what good donuts you have until they're gone. I am visiting from Oakland this week and had to stop by the shop to get a dozen donuts and a blended mocha. I was happy to see the man who I called "Mr. Donut Guy" still shaping and frying the donuts in the back. The shop will be in good hands as long as he's there. Support Super Star donuts! read more

You really don't know a donut shop until you have had a good variety if their offerings. But a key measure is the glazed donut. Does it have substance to it or is it like biting into air? Raised donuts with substance are a hallmark of a good independent donut shop and these don't disappoint. My fritter tasted just a little burnt though. All in all if you're nearby, this is worth a stop. I'll try them again. read more
