The original owners made donuts fresh EVERY DAY! The new owners have added more to the menu but are lacking on the donuts. Since the takeover, the donuts aren't fresh and you can taste the difference. Myself and a couple of others have tasted the difference over time. This place has always been a childhood favorite of mine this donut shop has been here for a very long time since I was a kid they have always had wonderful hospitality and good donuts it's so happens this morning my father called me to pick up some donuts on the way home from an appointment so I know just the shop to go to. As you come in they have a wide variety of donuts but you have to get there at least early enough before all the good ones are gone I came in and they had a pretty good batch left they also have croissants coffee is an iced coffee's and other drinks available. I picked myself up a dozen donuts mostly a variety of plain, sprinkle, and glaze. I also grabbed coffee on the way out aside from that they have good donuts and a variety of other items on the menu they have been here I would say over 20 years it's not so much that they have anything out of the ordinary but they've been here that long in that house to say something about a business so when it comes to being in my hometown they are definitely the donut shop that I go to the most. read more

I went in around noon on Thursday and there was still a pretty good selection. But it was odd because the door was open, and there was a customer inside, but there weren't any lights on in the place. This is Definitely a very "hole in the wall" kind of place. The woman who helped me was kind of 'whatever'. I'd probably only go back if I were in the area and because it's pretty cheap ($6 for 6 donuts- that was including some of the bigger fritter-like pastries too). I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to go here. But, if you need cup o noodles or pasta packets along with your donuts, this is your place. (No seriously- they sell random non-perishable foods here.) Also- I found an eyelash on one of the donuts. I mean, it could happen anywhere, but.. So I recently came to this establishment again and I was highly disappointed to find a donut with hair in it and I said maybe it was one of mine but it does not match my hair color . Fresh donuts is honestly my favorite donut spot. The ice coffee here is to die for, I'm a big coffee fan and nothing beats this place. Their donuts are just as good and the prices are great. The doughnuts were the bomb. Next time I go home I will definitely remember this place when I have an itching for a doughnut. The owner is very nice. In fact after I asked him the difference between two doughnuts he gave me on as a free sample. Even in the late evening the doughnuts tasted fresh, and they weren't too sweet like many doughnuts can be. There's also a great variety to choose from and the display case and shop appeared clean. I went in and purchased two dozen donuts and left it up to her how to mix the dozens and it looks like she gave me a lot of the flavors that not a lot of people like. Not a huge deal. And then I asked her for a dozen donut holes and there were four different flavors so I asked for an assortment and she had a large problem with it and kept telling me that they are different costs. That's fine. Isn't there a price for a dozen mixed? A normal dozen is $1.20, just make it happen at two dollars or whatever. It's not that hard. But she kept stressing the different prices and even if she charged me for the expensive ones that would have been fine but it became such a big ordeal that I just had to cancel the donut holes all together. Just an unnecessarily silly situation especially after already purchasing two dozen donuts. And not like I just came in only for donut holes. read more

Alright guys look, this place is a sheer delight. They've got really crisp fresh breads and flakey croissants baked to perfection. They use SWISS CHEESE in there ham and cheese croissants. I absolutely LOVE THEM. Now, this place is never really slow, people come from all around Rialto mostly in the mornings to get what they desire, however they close pretty early and sometimes (this is the only reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5), they leave in the middle of the day for some reason and just close the shop for a couple of hours at random. This can happen at any time of the day so I suggest you call ahead and ask if they're open, and if they have what you want. Nonetheless , the owner, an older Asian gentleman is a sweet heart and he provides excellent service,his wife however ... isn't too warm but she's not like disrespectful or anything. She just doesn't smile much, but that's ok because honestly their pastries are scrumptious. Their coffee is good and just as it hits your little belly you wonder, how can something other than a warm mother's hug ever compare to such love?
