This place is the definition of unique. This is a small six pack beer distributor, with a growler bar where only two can stand, with sandwiches, wings and the famous hot dog, where you can get the food to go or sit with your favorite 20 people watching Saturday college football on the big screen. The Italian sub is my favorite but I would love to try the wings...supposedly award winning. The options for beer are endless and the growler area is really fun. Worst customer service ever! The girl upfront has no people skills and if you ask a question she doesn't know the answer! The guy Shawn doesn't know even what he's selling he rude and threatened me! I told him she was rude and he asked me to leave! The bathroom was filthy and place smells like old greasy food and garbage! Since when is "plain" a flavor of wing? Charging $1 to get the wing sauce on the side, not an extra cup of sauce on top of already sauced wings, is crooked on my opinion. And on top of your already high prices?! It is on the menu that a cup of wing sauce is $1 but it is also on the menu that wings come with 1 sauce and plain is not listed as 1 of the flavors, like the "manager" told me today on the phone. Oh, and $1 charge for the cup of wing sauce is conveniently placed on the opposite side from the wing part of the menu. So if someone wants their wing sauce on the side you charge them $1 for it?? It's 1 thing to not include dipping sauces such a ranch with your appetizers and charge $1 extra for it, that's not as outrageous as changing someone for something they're already paying for! I don't know of a place that has better wings. They take large, high quality wings and cook them just right so they are crispy on the outside, but tender and juicy on the inside. They have lots of flavors, and everyone I've tried has been delicious, even the 'suicide' hot flavor is still very tasty. And I would be missing a key point if I forgot to mention that they have an awesome beer selection, both in the cooler and on tap. Got a Italian sub should have walked out when I asked for oil,vinegar and oregano and they said they don't have any of that, got a packet of Italian dressing,wtf? The weirdest, awesomely enchanting, sub shop/ beer depot I've ever been to! The selection of beers and taps available makes this a must try when passing through. I had a long day of driving from NY in a rental truck and hadn't eaten at all, all day. Arrived looking for sustenance and basically, there is nothing open after 9/ 10 Pm in Pennsylvania. Except SS&SP! So, why not, right? I'm starved and thirsty! Upon entering, its got a weird set up. Small tap bar to the left, sub and register counter to the right, tables in the middle. So, we start with a beer and they were solid! Orange juice IPA and Imperial chocolate stout. On to the food! Ordered chicken wings and two subs, unsure of what to expect. Price was okay too so hey let's eat. We sat at a table. Watching football on their flatscreen and they brought out our food. Italian sub for me, cheesesteak for my Pops. Decent serving, sandwich cut in half, probably a good 12" sub. Nothing special really but it was something in our stomachs. It did the job. The wings were pretty good and hot but overly sauced. Just drowning in bbq. But the wings tasted fresh and hot so bam, down the gullet. Time for a few more beers! Washed down our quick bites with a Belgian ale then a pumpkin ale for dessert. I mean, this place has so many beers I had no idea what they were or where from! It made me quite happy! Even grabbed a six of Yuengling Oktoberfest, which I've never seen or had (solid beer!) and took off down the road in search of lodging. Great ratings on this website did not work for me. Wings were overdone and dry...actually inedible, and I trashed them after trying to eat just two. They advertise a dozen wings, but it is really just 6 wings as they count the wing and drumstick sections separately. I asked for my wings plain with two sauces on the side. They charged me for two sauces. One should have been included. Cashier was rude when I questioned her regarding the wing count. Happily, I don't live in the area and just passing through. I would be very skeptical of high ratings. The day before I had absolutely delicious wings at Station 101 Pub and Kitchen. Go there instead. read more

Tonight for dinner My family and I ordered takeout and we're very disappointed!! We have eaten there before and it was good always very pleased but tonight when we brought our food home it was skimpy. no sauce on the wings and barley and meat on the subs I don't know if they have changed ownership but things have definitely changed since last time we ordered. read more

Try one more time. This time the wings were just right but the service had a whole lot to be desired. We did get several dozen but would have like to try some more flavors. There were a few odd ones my daughter wanted to try a little taste of the sauce but was told buy the woman behind the register that she "Does not have the time to let her taste the sauce". So we ordered and went to the parking lot to wait, were we soon saw why she did "not have time" someone was waiting out there for her to come out and play with a car full of dogs. Then she proceeded to rub her hands all over the mutts and even went as far as to let one ream inside of her mouth out with it's butt licking tonge in some sort of discusting dog kissing ritual. Just the last thing anybody wants to watch while your waiting for that person to get your food. She had a nasty attitude to go with the grossness as well. This is one of just a couple six-pack shops in town. They have a large selection of beer, pretty much something for every taste and then some. In terms of their selection, one cool thing they have is there are a few coolers right next to the entrance with a random assortment of individual beers. There you can mix and match whatever you want and make your own 6-pack. They don't have everything in there, but it is a good way to find something new you might like. Also semi-recently they started serving draft beers in house too. They also have a decent menu there. Have a selection of subs, sandwiches, wings, and other various fried "bar foods" to choose from. Their wings are excellent, but having not tried any of their other foods, I cannot vouch the rest. One last thing, they do offer delivery, of both food and alcohol. So if you're looking for a lazy night, or having friends over, give them a call, they will bring it to your door. read more

Friendly, helpful staff. Shane loves his job and it shows in the way he is passionate about helping his customers. Has the best selection of beer in the tri county area. Tons of craft and domestics in bottles to drink there or to go, along with an ever changing rotation of craft beers on draft (they even have special brewery tap take overs!). Best wings in town (boneless or bone in). Solid selection of bar foods and sandwiches too. The only complaint I have about this place is the atmosphere, feels as though i'm hanging out in the DuBois Middle School cafeteria. This place sucks. The staff needs to be replaced or properly trained. The customer service sucks. I personally work in the service industry and if I spoke to a customer the way I was talked to by not one but two of the employees I would lose my job on the spot. Management needs to more closely monitor the way customers are being treated and talked to. It's ridiculous to be disrespected like that when you're paying that much for beer. I'm sure half of the good reviews on this site are from employees. Have fun paying to remove this comment just like you did with my last one. This place is certainly unique and not what I expected but in a good way. It looks like a drive-thru or quicky mart from the outside. We walked in to find beer taps on the left and chicken wings being fried up on the right. With beer coolers, wine and 6 packs of craft beer along the walls. We started our adventure by ordering pints of beer and after tasting those we decided to get some chicken wings for dinner since the place was filled with the aroma fried poultry appendages. I was drooling from the smell. We also got 4 sample flight of what they had on tap. The wings were amazing and obviously freshly made. Duh! Individual bottles or create your own six packs are available along with pop and other beverages. Service was great; The guys are super friendly! I agree with the larger fellow with the man bun and beard when I say this place should be bigger based on the amount of foot traffic! Busy but they offer excellent beer and food. Stepped up the beer game with the added taps and I've enjoyed eating in even. Prices are still great and selection is good for the area. Hasn't been home & garden on the tube the last few times I've been in either! Now if we could just get a jukebox hooked up and packed full of 90's hip hop I would move in.
