I also love how collaborative this team is, if a stylist can't get you in they work really well with their team to get you in. They share formulas and it's truly collaborative at Amara. Complimentary beverages upon arrival. They discuss every service and price point before starting to make sure you are comfortable and they also work around your budget too. I've personally had my hair done by both Piper and Addison who are wonderful but the whole team is super friendly. If I could give ZERO stars, I would…read more Absolutely furious with the disaster that Shear Style Salon inflicted on my daughter's hair. She asked for a trim -- a simple trim, CLEARLY communicated -- and instead walked out with FOUR INCHES hacked off. FOUR. That's not a trim; that's butchery. What part of "just the ends, please" was hard to understand? Apparently, basic listening and comprehension are not part of the training here. The stylist clearly decided to do whatever the hell they wanted, completely ignoring what was asked. My daughter is devastated, and frankly, so am I. Her hair took years to grow and in 30 careless minutes, this place undid it. Do they hand out scissors to anyone who walks in off the street? Because that's what it feels like -- amateur hour with no accountability. We will never be back, and I'll make sure everyone I know hears about this. If you value your hair -- or your sanity -- avoid Shear Style like the plague.
