My hair got BUTCHERED!!!! I look like a god damned cretin thanks to the hack job I just got, I literally screamed after getting home looking in the mirror! I told the lady "BLEND, I WANT IT BLENDED ON THE SIDES" several times and what does she do? She chops the sides off!!!!! No blend! It looks like a red neck mullet now! And my choices are to wear a hat for the next 4-6 months for the sides to grow out or just chop it all down, losing a years hair growth. I will never set foot in a Supercuts ever again, it's better to pay good money on a haircut at a real stylist than to risk even the most simple request leading to hack job like this read more

I'm a little picky when it comes to my appearance and being from SoCal I was kinda scared to try a "chain" hair place. But I really needed a cut and had no idea where to go so I thought "why not". It was so great! I paid $36 I believe. My experience was with a wash, cut, and flat iron and I've literally paid 3xs the price in L.A. to get just as good if not better results. I got exactly the cut that I wanted and I wouldn't change a thing about it. I have curly-really curly hair and my flat iron looked great for days after. My experience was walking in, got my estimated wait time, waited in the area, was assigned a stylist quickly, and it just got better from there. My stylist was also great! She was from the area and we chatted about just about everything while I was there. She was so professional and even got a new comb when she dropped one. I know this is standard procedure but lets be honest, not a lot of cosmetologist follow it. She was also very careful with my hair and didn't take any short cuts or yank and rip out my hair just to get her job done. read more

I got a dry cut with Sara and I love how it turned out! She was professional and took her time. I really appreciate that she didn't talk down to me as if I know nothing about hair and she didn't complain when I asked for a dry cut. In fact she understood that I have already put in the time on my hair to straighten it. I am mixed and I haven't been able to find someone who can manage my hair after shanpooing so dry cuts are all I'm willing to try. She said even checked for cartilage piercings so she didn't yank them with the comb! She pays attention to detail and is very sweet. I only paid $14 and got about 4-5" off with framing around the face. Not a bad price! read more

10/11/21 WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! My stist Ruby is completely AMAZING and I will miss her terribly but I will not return to this location. The people who answer the phones are generally rude and sound as if you're bothering them. For over a year now clients are supposed to call ahead and schedule a time to see the stylist to reduce traffic in the salon. Dutifully I called ahead and made my spot for 10:30 am. I get to the location at the given time and check in. My stylist was finishing up a client, no big deal. I sit I wait for her to be done. She finishes, the girl at the front desk points to the computer screen and my stylist calls someone else back. It's 15 minutes past my slot which is okay because Ruby was finishing up someone but to call someone else back when I was supposed to be at 10:30? So I say to the person at the desk, why is it we have to call for a slot and then we don't get called back at our time? "That's only an approximation Sir." Well why do we have to call then? "So you don't have to sit and wait more than 45 minutes." BULLCRAP! The customer service is ridiculous! I would not recommend this location to ANYONE! read more

I was looking for just a simple style and left with a problem. I gave the girl simple directions and she didn't follow on one of them. At the register I asked to talked to the manager and she came out ready to fight! no eloquent, rude, and rejected the problem on to every else. for get the old " the costumer is always right!" I was really clam but this girls got all emotional; After I paid, yes I had to paid for a really bad haircut. The manager couldn't produce a receive, I am never going back there I prefer to paid a bit more and get a good presentable haircut. So I go here because you don't have to have an appt. I just wanted a simple trim with some layering. Yeah.. that's not what I got. I get called to the desk after I already signed in and am expecting to be sat in her chair. Nope. She sends me back with a dismissive hand wave so she could "get the guys name entered in". I should have known that they make the "stylists" (and I say that loosely!) double as a receptionist. How does that ever turn out well? She was more Interested in watching the front door than she was cutting my hair. It shows. My hair is jacked up and now I will spend even more time before work trying to make it NOT look like a bag of ass. Don't go here. Been going to Super Cuts recently, my husband recommend his Stylist, Pedro. I have been very pleased with my hair style and I am going every month for up keep. Pedro really hears and creates what you want, finally someone who actually hears what you want done. He is very seasoned and has a lot experience and I have recommended him to several friends and they Love their hair results as well. I believe you can call ahead and request his service, if don't you end up waiting and can become a long wait. The haircut was good and it was well priced. they were having a back to school deal so I got a haircut and some gel for $20. my stylist was Pedro and he was awesome. You can tell that he's had a lot of experience cutting hair. In fact he's been doing this for more than 30 years he said and it's obvious that he really enjoys it. 2 days I've gone to this location to have my hair dyed and cut. The first day I was informed that although it was still 2.5 hours before closing (630) they wouldn't have time to dye my hair and to come back the next day because they stop coloring at 7. Slightly ridiculous but fine. I come back the next day and show up at quarter after 5 because they told me they stop coloring at 7 the day before, not that they stop coloring 2 hours before closing and since the hours are different on Saturday I was too late. Then the receptionist wanted to know if I wanted to make an appointment. Why I wasn't offered an appointment the day before is beyond me. These people clearly have no appreciation for their customers time. I get that it's a cheap place to get a haircut but I guess I expected higher quality customer service. MY BAD read more

Connie is the gal you want cutting your hair. She'll do it right -- EVERY time. I always get what I'm looking for when I'm in her chair. The overall experience is good and the other gals get the job done (from what I can see) and so far, I've never seen anyone leave unhappy. I don't go anywhere else for a cut. read more

Came with my teenage son for a haircut, he regularly asks for the same cut. Jacquie did a terrible job. I paid for the haircut but demanded the tip back. The receptionist offered for the manager to fix the haircut but there is not much hair left to fix. I am sure there are talented and skillful employees at that salon, maybe she was having a bad day. I understand, but I also have the right to demand good service. It is up to the employee to listen and learn from the experience, or make the same mistake on someone else again. Not being from El Paso, and working in the Arts, good hair is an important thing. It seems as though I'm always either growing my hair out for a role, changing my hairstyle because of another roll, or in some weird in-between place where it's almost impossible to get a good cut. I have bounced around through most of the high end salons in town and had very mixed results. I won't name names because there are certainly good people working at all of them. What I will say is that Pedro at Supercuts is probably the best stylist in the city that you can actually get an appointment with. He is incredibly nice, incredibly knowledgeable, and his skills and giving you the perfect cut are without equal. I know that there are other stylists at this location to also do fantastic work, and with any change, there are probably a stylist or two make their way in and out who aren't very good. Short of getting my haircut when I am in Europe from one of the stylists they are, I don't let anyone in El Paso other than Pedro touch my hair. The price is amazing for the quality of work. read more

Came on Thursday 10/20 5.30pm, was told 30 minutes wait for a haircut. Waited for an hour and still waiting, only if receptionist understand the timeframes so people don't waste time waiting and go to other places. Oh wait it dont end here, after the cut I had to remind the smartest receptionist that Thursday is specials but it's too late my card is already charged for regular price....seriously Owner either hire smart people or train them. read more

came in for a cut and all i asked was for simple medium layers and it was just super off i have a chunk of hair that's shorter layers and then all of a sudden jumps to my longest length ( in simpler words the layers don't flow like it should) we came back to give it a second try with my boyfriend and it was a little better they just needed to fade more but will not be going back, for some reason i either have bad experiences at hair places because every where i go there is something wrong read more

I was in dire need of a quick trim at a cheap price and had been here before and it was OK but this time it was awful, the woman who cut my hair was nice but extremely agitated when I asked to get my hair washed and dried. It seemed as if i was ruining her day to have to do more than a simple cut. The cut seemed OK and I went to pay but nobody was at the front desk, eventually my hairdresser came up and said she would charge me but didn't know how much, someone else came up and said they're having a special where washing and styling were $1 and it was on a sign by the register. My stylist said that's crazy talk and went to the back to talk to someone, when she came back she said she was charging me what's fair...$45! I didn't argue because frankly she seemed like someone you don't want to argue with. The next day when I washed my hair I realized what a terrible job she did, it was completely uneven and choppy so I had to pay $40 to get it fixed at a salon where they had to drastically cut it to even it out. Some of you are probably wondering if Pedro still has that spark/talent from the last review in 2010. Unfortunately, he did not impress me the one bit. I went to get a haircut about a month ago to get a trim from my previous hair dresser from Phoenix. I read online how Pedro was highly recommend. I would call around 11am and he would be completely booked for the day! Finally when I got an appointment I went to get a haircut and saw how he styled my hair and I felt like something was off. At first I decided to straitened my hair and it looked really nice! unfortunately, after my first wash at home it came out terrible. I let my hair dry on my own and there were strands of hair sticking out, uneven on both sides, and my hair looked dead. I had to go to another hairdresser at Segovia's Nail & Hair Studio at Viscount to fix my hair. It cost $40 dollars, but the job was a lot better. She was mortified by how off he was with my hair, found missing clumps of hair, and was way off on the layers. It may of been a lot expensive at Segovia's, but you get what you pay for. I had a bad experience at Supercuts that has yet to be resolved. I had always seen a girl named Christy there that did a wonderful job on my hair but ended up leaving. She recommended a woman named Janie to cut my hair so I took her up on the recommendation. This last time that I was there to see Janie, I showed up to my hair appointment at 12:20 when I was told to be there. When I checked in another girl, not Janie, took me to her chair. I told her that I was very sorry but that I had originally asked for Janie. When the girl went back to the receptionist she seemed confused and then told me that she was cutting my hair because I was more than 30 minutes late. I got upset because I came in at the time I was told. I told them that I wasnt late and that I was there to see Janie. Janie comes out and says she has an appointment at 12:30 but that she would take me anyways. So as she is cutting me hair obviously nervously rushing through it she messed up my hair very bad. The layers are awful and she didn't bother texturizing and now I'm afraid I will have to go elsewhere to pay again to have my hair fixed. I dont think I will return because I have had issues in the past with their non-appointment slash appointment system that doesn't make any sense. You either have an appointment system or not. Overall it was a bad experience and I think I have spent enough money there. read more
