Okay, so I'm usually skeptical about the quick hair cut places, because every time I've gone to one, I never end up with a hair cut I like Came in around beginning of February, after a comb got stuck in my hair and had to cut a chunk off. BUT! Oh my gosh, Michelle? I think her name was, I really wish I remembered for sure, middle aged lady, blonde shorter hair. SHE IS INCREDIBLE. She gave me the haircut I wanted perfectly. I've never loved a hair cut more in my life! I showed her a few pictures, and how I'd like to be able to style it after it's cut, and she did her thing! It's amazing. My hair feels lighter, gets less tangles, and looks so good!!! I don't think I ever want to go to anyone else because she did SUCH a good job. I went in to trim and line up the shape of my angled bob, half of the job was already done Christine just had to follow the trail that was already set up for her but in all honesty she should not be working on women's hair. If you are a woman DO NOT LET CHRISTINE TOUCH YOU.. She completely botched my hair. It was chopped up, crooked and much shorter than what I explained to her literally 4 times, the results were as if it was her first time trimming women's hair she has no technique. I was highly embarrassed I almost cried, it was the worst cut I've ever received. I returned to get my hair fixed by the manager her name is Hope and she literally saved my life when she turned my frankenhair into a beautiful angled bob again. It's a lot shorter than it was initially supposed to be but she saved the style and did a beautiful job with what she had to work with. She is a lovely woman I'm grateful she recovered the damage that Christine had caused. Shoutout to Hope for her empathy and ability to provide a better experience, IF I do return I'm only moving forward with her if she's available she's a great stylist. Got up this morning while staying in Mesa, went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror and thought I was looking at Doc Brown. So I figured I'd go get my head trimmed before the wife crawled out of bed. I was going to go for a general barbershop experience but after passing a couple that were either closed or said something about fades I decided to stick with one that I knew and went to Supercuts When I walked in the shop, I noticed three things: The store was bright, clean and not very many people were waiting there, in fact Siara, the stylist, appeared to be waiting just for me. She greeted with a friendly "hello" with a bright smile and asked me how I liked my hair cut. She worked quickly and after some friendly chat it was done. She was even careful when shaving my neck that I barely even felt it. I'm sure you know the types you feel that the only way to cut the hair is by gouging carve marks in your neck because they press too hard with the shaver. I've even had my haircut by someone who left scratch marks. If in the Mesa or Chandler area and you need your hair trimmed, I highly recommend go to the Supercuts and ask for Siara. But you better get there fast because she's got bigger and better things to be going onto, so get your haircut while she's here! I can't say anything else about her, because I don't want the wife thinking that I'm crushing on another woman. read more

I wanted to update my review; I emailed James and Jennifer, they were great about offering me options on how to fix my experience. I felt the owner dealt with this well. Although I paid someone else to fix the choppy layers. They did ask if I was okay with showing the stylist the pictures I presented them to ensure I wasn't making anything up, for learning purposes. I agreed because people are constantly learning and building from experience. Hairstyling is a skill learned and for me although I am sad/bummed to have more then expected to be taken off , I hope the stylist can use my hair experience/ photos to learn. I had a scheduled appointment which was confirmed online. I arrived at the salon 5 minutes prior to my appointment. The stylist was finishing up with her current customer. Asked me if I had an appointment which I said yes. She then asked the walk-in customer to the back at my appointment time and was going to have me wait while cutting his hair first. Why book an appointment when its not being honored. The owners response to the google review was I should of just waiting 10 minutes and they would of gotten me in the chair. Just moved out here recently and finally had to get a haircut after months of being too busy from the move - I've always gone to local supercuts locations so I was glad to see this one only a couple minutes away. Sadly I don't remember the name of who cut my hair (I think the receipt said Marcy?) but she did a fantastic job and understood what I was asking for even though I know I'm terrible at explaining it. She also had the rare trait that most stylists don't have of knowing not to be pushy about talking - I'm not a big fan of small talk especially with someone having blades millimeters from my head and really prefer to just quietly have my hair cut, so it was nice that while she did make some conversation it was just a small amount and didn't feel like she was goading me into it. The haircut itself was really well done and exactly how I wanted it - which after months of not having it cut can be pretty hard to get right as the stylist can't tell what you usually do with it by that point. The location is also very nice, clean, and has a sleek modern design inside. read more

Went in a couple days ago & got my bangs cut. I walked in the door & saw two ladies sitting there. A blonde lady sat me down & asked what I wanted done, I asked for a fringe/messy type look, and also showed her a picture. She took a section of hair in the front & left the rest of my hair messy & weirdly parted, twisted it, then just cut it & was done. We walked to cash out & she tells me $5 while being rude, I hand her the money and she basically acted like she wanted me out ASAP. Keep in mind I literally sat in the hair cutting chair for like 3 minutes max. Whoever this blonde lady is, she's very rude & obviously sucks at cutting hair. We made an appointment for 6:40, since it was available. Alice or alicia (I think thats her name) cut my sons hair who is two, and does a great job sitting while getting his haircut. I showed her three times what I wanted and we kept having to tell her what we wanted, it was a super simple haircut. All the other girls who have done his hair before, do an amazing job! She did such a horrible job! She seemed like she was rushing because it was 20 minutes to closing. Every time I would say something she got a little attitude. I scheduled an appointment using the Supercuts app. I arrived 25 minutes before my appointment. The receptionist/stylist informed me that there were three other customers ahead of me. I asked her if they all had appointments. She stated that they had checked in ahead of me (obviously, since they were already there, though that was not the question I asked). I waited until my appointment time and then promptly walked out. Since they mean nothing to Supercuts I will not bother scheduling appointments in the future. I was hesitant to go here only because this is a national chain and I didn't want a haircut that was like the haircut that everyone gets at places like this. "Cookie Cutter" is what I call it. But I gave in and went right before they were closing in 30 minutes.. So the manager Tina knew exactly what I was looking for.. She said Relax I know exactly what you want... When she was done I was SO happy!! She knows how to cut hair the way YOU want it.. I will NEVER go anywhere else to get a haircut. She's funny, she's fast and she is immensely talented!! Hi, Michaela was my stylist. I got 6 inches off the back and wanted the style layered. I came home and there was a clump of hair that was never cut in the back. It still had the original 6 inches on it. Also, my bangs were never touched. She cut the back and forgot the front. I ended up cutting my bangs myself. She says she has been cutting hair for 4 years and I am wondering how she could miss basic haircut requirements. I wasn't her first haircut of the day either. I know you get what you pay for and I thought with the simple requirements needed that any hairstylist could handle the task. read more
