The dye left visible staining along my hairline, temples/sideburn area, and behind my ears, which I wasn't informed about until after everything was done and I saw it in the mirror. The stylist did try to remove it, but it didn't come off easily, so I left with noticeable staining on my skin. I understand that things can happen, especially with different products, but I do wish there had been more communication in the moment and a more thorough final check/cleanup before I left the salon, especially since the staining was visible in multiple areas. Unfortunately, I'm not very comfortable waiting for it to fade on its own, and I'm also not inclined to return for a future service. Overall, I think this place has a lot going for it, but I hope they can improve the finishing process and post-service support so clients don't leave with unexpected issues. It was a Sunday morning. We called a different salon, and they were either closed or unable to accommodate us. We saw the True Aveda Salon and hoped we could get a haircut. I was amazed by the person I spoke to. I completely forgot her name, but she had a positive attitude and ensured they could accommodate 3 people for a haircut. We both went home happy and feeling beautiful. The place was clean. Mimi and Tristar made us feel so comfortable. They played music and talked to us to entertain us. They also gave us tips to take care of our hair. The salon is also in a great location. It's right next to a bakery so you can grab some pastry and coffee before or after your hair appointment. I went to 2 different salons previously (within a year) after I lost my girl who did it for the last 8 years and 3rd times the charm. I called the salon and she was accommodating for a consultation last minute. I was so nervous but during the consult you get that feeling SHE knows hair. Although I was nervous, I just went ahead and booked an appt. There is a fee that needs to be paid to schedule which that goes towards your final total amount. Salon is small (which I like vs the bigger salons which can feel intimidating) Day of appointment- Andenise was so kind and welcoming. Before she started, we briefly went over what I wanted to accomplish. I had a hard time explaining what I wanted but at the same time it felt like she knew what I wanted or more so needed lol (if that makes sense) My hair needed a lot of TLC My roots were over grown , my hair was dry and damaged from previous work done on it.
