1-8-2026 Had tried to get a haircut yesterday (after a mani/pedi) but by 11 am they were booked for the day. The stylist asked if I wanted their phone number so I got their card. She told me calls start coming in at 9 a.m. once I got in she said come now. I told her I'm 5 minutes away. The phone kept ringing and her last opening at 1:30 pm was booked. I learned that her name was Alyssa and two of them are full time and 3 are part time. Two of them were present. I remember coming here when we first moved to Mililani in the 80's. It shows the wear of time but I came for a cut not the aesthetics. I liked that she focused on my hair the entire time. The other place I've been going to for years had a lot of interruptions and a different person washes your hair. Here you don't get shampooed at all just hair dryer blown to release the loose hair. I was desperate to get a haircut before my surgery tomorrow and trip to the 9 th island soon after. Alyssa took care of my needs, a precision cut, no fuss, and half the price I usually pay. Took the recommendation of my fellow yelpers! Called the morning of and got an appointment for both daughters. Got a text to confirm and it even reminded me. Got there at 3pm and it wasn't very busy but it was steady with walk-ins and other appointments. Both girls were seated and cut right away. Friendly staff, clean shop with a waiting area. Can't beat the prices, especially when haircuts for teens can cost about $80 at other locations. They both just needed trims and for hair to be thinned as they have tons of it. First time here & it was a great comfortable experience. I was recommended to see Alyssa & she did a really good job. She was easy to talk to & was very efficient in her job. Setting up an appointment was a little challenging as they don't accept future reservations, but only for that day. You have to either call them around 9am or walk in around that time to see if there are any open time slots. Since they are open til 7pm, they do have staff that starts at 11am. And also be aware that even if you have a certain time slot, they may be a little behind schedule at times. To me, that's a normal thing. This place is located in the Mililani Shopping Center that has a Safeway, and has plenty of parking. All in all, this location is a plus. They must be doing a great job if they are constantly getting calls in the morning for appointments. :) read more

Today, Sunday, my regular salon was booked, as well as another, so I decided to chance supercuts since they had openings for all 3 of us in the afternoon. Looking at your (yelpers) reviews, I was going to the mililani supercuts in town center, but decided to try this supercuts instead since it had better reviews, and they had a spot open for all 3 of us. Right before my son's graduation coming up, I surely didn't want a messed up or butchered haircut for all of us, but we needed one badly on the weekend, since my son has school on the weekends, and was taking a chance of going to a supercuts I have not been to. We had Kiki, and with almost a decade of experience, she did very well cutting both my son's hairstyles to their liking as well as mine. She was also very friendly and talkative to make haircutting an enjoyable experience. I will definitely have my sons have their hair cut here again. As for me, since I am retired, I can go to my regular salon any day of the week, but I usually decide last minute to drive out to cut my hair, so decided to have them cut my hair as well since I was driving them to cut their hair. I have to admit, though, although she did a pretty good job, I like my bob cut at my usual salon more and they are cheaper than here, but I might change my mind if my hair starts to grow out without looking like a mess. Basic haircuts start at $28, a dollar less than the supercuts above the street in Mililani Town Center, and they are also more experienced. Lots of parking since it is at the Mililani Market Place, which I never knew existed even if I was born and raised here. Going westbound, on Kam Highway, turn left on Meheula (instead of right to Mililani Town Center where Walmart is), and it will be on the right side of the street, between Safeway/Longs and Sakura restaurant. I'm glad I found another reasonable place to professionally cut my sons' hair on the weekends. However, reservations are recommended because they do also book up if you call later in the morning. I really hope she stays because Supercuts tend to always change their employees after a few years, and I'll have to hunt for another good one again. read more

This is the only Supercuts location that my kids go to. They've been going there for about 7 years. It's conveniently located at Mililani Marketplace. Prior to going to this Supercuts, I took them to some other places and was never satisfied. At one place, the clippers got stuck in my son's hair and it pulled it. The stylist just giggled and said, "Oh sorry." I looked at her like, "Seriously?!" After that incident, never again would I go back. I am always satisfied with the haircuts that my kids get at this location. All the stylist there are excellent. They are all easy to talk to and my kids feel comfortable going there. My youngest son likes it when they put gel in his hair and the hot towel at the end. read more

Hairdresser had an big attitude problem, must be a bad day. I've never had to walk out of a hair appointment before.

I was extremely disappointed today. I had an appointment for 2pm and I got there by 1:50pm. The manager was cutting someone else's hair while talking. She stopped to speak to a security guard for 5 minutes while her customer waited in the chair. By the time she was done, it was 2:22pm and her 2:20pm appointment walked in. She didn't say anything to me while I was there so when it got to be 2:25pm and it looked like she wasn't going to be done cleaning up for another few minutes, I spoke directly to her and told her I had to leave. She said they were busy and they don't guarantee an appointment time. I would have appreciated a call because I have been planning my whole month around getting a hair cut quickly due to my tight schedule and had to take off work to get all my errands done as well. The manager did apologize but seemed distracted and irritated. I still think that an establishment that takes a person's phone number when making an appointment deserves to be told when it's going to be half hour late. read more

Ugh I really didn't want to do this...actually I hate doing this but gosh darn it I owe it to the community to be honest. Okay went in to take my daughter for a haircut after not being able to get her in with her regular stylist but she wanted something really simple before returning back to school. So I thought what the heck let's just go to Supercuts. I called and made an appointment. Showed up 15mins early. Waited 45mins after my scheduled time. My daughter wanted layers...15mins later after being seated in the chair she walked out with just a trim! I wish I had taken a before and after picture. There was none to little of a difference. I believe I paid $28. My daughter was so unhappy i wanted to say something but was afraid it would come out worst. After trying to convince my son to get a haircut for two weeks, he finally agreed and I brought him into the closest salon I could find. There usually is a wait at any Supercuts and to avoid this, I checked in online ahead of time. We ended up getting to Supercuts 30 minutes before our appointment time and after a short 10 minute wait, it was my son's turn. His stylist took the time to ask us what style he wanted and did a great job cutting my son's hair. It is very hard to please a teenager, especially when it comes to their hair. My son and I were very happy with the new do'. He liked his hair so much, he wanted to me to assure him that he could go back to the same stylist when it's time to freshen up his do'. read more

We ended up here after a bad experience at the Supercut location at the Town Center. It was the best decision to cancel there and come here instead. As soon as we walked in, someone acknowledged us and already greeted my son by name. He got my son into a chair immediately and on time. Chaning was great!! This Supercuts might be my favorite of the others located in Mililani. They tend to greet and acknowledge you immediately, they listen to how you want your hair cut and takes their time and tries to do their best to match your request. Price is so affordable, so you pretty much get what you pay for, it's usually best to go to a Supercuts for a trimming. But for a different style haircut, I'd probably go to somewhere els. I also got a lip waxing done once, and I felt the person working on me wasn't comfortable or unsure of how or what to do. I tried to comfort her, figure what can go wrong right? Anyway, she tore a chunk of skin off my upper lip, oh the pain! As I said, you get what you pay for. Workers are friendly, so 4 stars. read more

I am so glad that I went to this SuperCuts! I was greeted almost immediately (with the lady actually running from the back of the store to make sure someone was there) and didn't need to wait very long before I was taken. My hair stylist, Danielle, was very friendly and she kindly put up with having to guess what kind of style I wanted, since all I knew was that I wanted shoulder-length hair. Even with my sparse instructions, she managed to give me a cute new hairstyle that I absolutely adore! (Thank you!!) The other staff were also really friendly and, even though there was some trouble with the register freezing, the staff member at the register with me was funny and good tempered. The WORST. Why work there when you are afraid to cut hair? I wanted my hair short like a man's cut but they didnt want me because of my hair texture and explaining how it will poof up. Do you think I care? I came here and waste my sweet a§ time , and in the end they only cut off a inch of my hair. They kept asking to show a picture on the phone , and I'm all like "no,why should I?" when they already said they couldn't cut my hair short like the guy on the wall (was similar). I just walked out and paid I didn't care for them to continue my hair. I ended having my sister/mom buzz off my hair unlike someone who couldn't even do their job. Worst place to go for a haircut if your a man. They take forever. They don't even have good clippers. The place "looks" nice because it's new. This place isn't even a designer haircut place. I just wanted a simple 1 & 1/2 of the top and skin fade. She didn't fade and now there's just a line across my head. And for 19$ it's way over priced. Don't get confused now, there are 2 Supercuts in Mililani. This is the one by Safeway. They lady I had was really nice and friendly and she did a good job with my hair. I went to LuLu for my sons haircut. She was very professional and meticulous even for my 6 year old boy. Salon is clean up to state regulation. Staffs are courteous and welcoming. I can't speak for women's hair styling but it's best hair styling so far for my son. read more

I just moved to Mililani from town and was hesitant to visit this place until I read some of your reviews. "Why don't u just go to town to cut your hair?" some people may ask me. It's been over six week so the names have been forgotten. Taking a stab I think I had Donna, or a D-something older local woman. Had a young gal (Alicia or as someone noted below Alyssa) and a husky local guy. Short wait, Donna doesn't even smile or greet me, I tell her what I wanted, had a mind burp and couldn't remember the name of the hair cut. While I am describing it, she ANNOYINGLY got it, looked disgusted. Haircut maybe took 1/2 hour - the ENTIRE TIME NOT A WORD OR SMILES PASSES (except tilt your head this way or that). However she joked with the other workers. Alicia the stylist/receptionist was sweeping regularly. My hair was tangled, Donna upset at this, so I told her I'll help. She says PLLLLEEEEAASSSEEE. Sheesh you a little upset??? But yet she's joking and laughing with coworkers. I am FUMING with a capitol F. When pau I was too disgusted, cut wasn't to my specs. Please note I have worn this same hairstyle for a few years so I KNOW how it should be and this is a rather common hairstyle. I went very spontaniously for a little trim for me and for my two little daughters for their very first hair cut. Both stylists that worked on us were super nice and did a great job!!! Too bad I finally found a great place, right before we move again (classic!) I would highly recommend this place to every Mom with girls or anyone, really! My last visit to Supercuts was 3 years ago and not a pleasant one. I decided to give them another chance. WORST MISTAKE EVER! Terrible time management here!! Walk in, told 20 mins wait, waited 45 mins!! Told the stylist we are leaving as the wait was too long and we wouldn't be seen anytime soon. Stylist looked at me like he didn't care and said, "okay." Walked out and will definitely never come here again. No more chances with any Supercuts. I am always indecisive as to how I want my hair to be cut. Yet, I can get very picky and fussy when it comes to the end results. I didn't want to go in to the new year looking like a long haired hippy, so I decided to take a chance at this place. I was pretty apprehensive, since I was not satisfied with my previous hair cut. However the staff here was very friendly, and was in a chair in no time, since I had no appointment. Leo was very courteous and helped me through my indecisiveness.
