I went to this place three times all with different people. None did a good job. I had an uneven haircut, long strands of hair behind my ear. Most times the cut takes about 5 minutes. I ask for a zero on the sides and it looks like I didn't even cut it. The older Asian lady has a bad attitude. I ask for a military discount which she wouldn't give. I've tried other Supercuts before and I got the discount. Also she wanted cash which I denied and paid with card. Try and find a better place for a decent cut. They can't even do the basics right. read more

This depends on who you get. I have had great haircuts by a woman named Carmenza, but she unfortunately just left there. She would take her time and make sure you looked your best. I literally would tip her almost what the haircut cost. My most recent haircut was with another lady who spent about 10 minutes on my hair. I walked out with more hair on my shirt and face then on my head. This has happened several times before I found Carmenza as well, so that is strike 3 for me .. I dont care if I have to pay a little extra, a groomer should take a little extra time to make sure you aren't a mess walking away from her chair unless of course that groomer could care less ! 3 stars because the price is good and who knows .. you might actually wind up with someone who gives a sh*t. Minus 2 stars for the remarkable lack of management in instituting some form of quality control. read more

This place only caters to certain types of hair. I went in just wanting a simple shape up nothing else no trim just a shape up (a shape up is when they define the outline of your head the back and the front etc). I get my hair cut by David. I've been going to him for about a year since he started working at the Main Avenue location. He was recommended to me by my previous cutter there, Kait, an excellent cutter who went on to be a supervisor for Supercuts. David always does a great job. My wife thinks he's by far the best cutter I've had in the 15 years I've been going to that location. I highly recommend him. read more

I enjoy coming here with my son. We make sure to call 15 minutes ahead to hold our spot. Doing so we rarely wait more than 5 minutes. My son loves Tina (hairstylist). She is very sweet to him and makes his hair look great. She is very patient and confident when doing his hair. We took advantage of Supercuts's promotion "12 haircuts and the 13th one is free" (tip not included). I figure he needs a haircut anyway. Why not get something free. read more

I have had many bad hair cuts at high end places, and wondered why I have never stumbled upon this gem before. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I was surprised that SuperCuts now offers facial waxing, hair coloring and highlights. They exclusively use Paul Mitchell products and offer a huge supply of other high end products as well, at a much lower cost than most salons. The receptionist, Kerry, is extremely friendly and accomodating, I thought she was the manager because she is so professional. The girl who cut my hair, Genesis, is extremely talented, friendly, and did a beautiful job. I have also had my hair cut with both Nina and Izen, who have been in the business for 20 + years. They both do a stellar job as well! I will continue to come here for a quality hair-cut at an affordable price and excellent customer service. Well done, SuperCuts! read more

RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL...If I could give 0 for a review, I'd do it. This was my 2nd visit. Since I didn't want to wait, I checked in online before I arrived (I didn't do that on my first visit). Once I arrive there were only 2 stylists, both working on clients. There was one client ahead of me, who was taken next, and then there was me. I figured I'd be taken after, especially since I had already checked in, but a client who walked in after me and had apparently called, was taken next. When I arrived, neither stylist greeted me and when I told them I'd checked in online, they just rolled their eyes!! Not only are they unprofessional and rude, but I'd consider them RACIST!! They should have kept the location on Westport Ave opened instead of this one! read more

This place is awful. I was looking to get a trim and omg it looks like a two year old just cut their own hair. Older Asian woman has worked here for a while, says she has been doing it for 23 years. The mess she makes of your hair you'd think it was 23 mins. Only knows a buzz cut, just hacks it all off. Doesn't do what you ask, takes about 5 mins. She is rude, obnoxious and takes no pride in her work at all. read more

I went to this place to get a simple cut and blow out. The older Indian lady tried to tell me that they didn't do blowdrys, but it was in the menu and the other stylist there, with the purple hair, told me they do and if the other stylists refused to do it, she would. The only two stylists to seem to have a clue what they were doing were the lady with the short black hair and the lady with the purple hair. They were both very careful and precise and friendly. The others had a bad attitude and every haircut they did was a worse version of their previous cut. My stylist, Rica (the one with the purple hair) gave me her business card, asked me to come back in three or four weeks, and was very professional and kind. When I came in again, I was told she moved to the store manager position at the other Norwalk Supercuts. Now that that she's gone, the only saving grace at this store is the stylist with the short black hair. The way I saw the other stylists treating her, I wouldn't be surprised if she switched to another Supercuts. Don't even bother with this location, go straight to Westport Ave. read more

I just left the Norwalk location and was thoroughly pleased with the store its atmosphere, and the stylist I had . I was met by Louis who was not only polite and courteous, but a master at the shears. His demeanor and personable nature was a true delight. If you go to this location, I would suggest asking for Louis, he's a solid A+. read more

I went into supercuts today for the first time and received a great looking haircut! I went in looking like donald trump and came out looking like brad pitt! I really enjoyed my visit. The employees were all very friendly and it seemed like a great working environment. I only paid 15.95 as opposed to the ridiculous high end salon prices! :) read more

DO NOT GO HERE I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE!! I would give this place negative stars if that was an option. It is the worst customer service of any place I have ever been to. I got this one indian lady with awful highlights (think her name was Nayna) who did my hair and all she cared about was how much I payed because my hair was "so long and thick." Literally I got in, she washed half of my head (after the "shampooing" the inside part of my hair was still DRY), she spent about two minutes cutting it straight across (no joke - actually TWO MINUTES), and then she said it was done. SHE DIDN'T EVEN BRUSH MY HAIR!! And she told me it would be $20 extra if I wanted it blow-dried. THAT'S THE SAME PRICE OF THE WHOLE HAIRCUT!!! I strongly recommend that you do not go to this establishment, and if you do make sure you do NOT GET NAYNA (shirt indian lady with AWFUL highlights). She was an awful hair-cutter, not to mention the fact that she was such a b****! She rushed me in and out of there in less than ten minutes!!!! THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS SUCH A JOKE AND I AM NEVER RETURNING TO A SUPERCUTS AGAIN! I had to go to another hair stylist the next day because of how bad my cut was. read more

Worst hair cut experience I've ever had. The person who cut my hair had literally no skill at all, he is a male with longer black hair, didn't catch his name. I literally had to argue with him over the type of hair cut I wanted as he was unable to do a fade in my hair. After barely having any hair cut from my head I ended up paying 17 bucks!!
