My bf went in and got Esther and she did not seem to understand what she was doing. He told her what he wanted specifically and she said "lets hope for the best" . Who says that to a client ?!? He asked for a medium fade and received a high fade then asked for her to cut a little bit off the top and now the front of his hair is uneven and so short it looks like she gave him microbangs! I have been having my hair cut by Maricela for over 2 years. This young lady is awesome. She always cuts to my liking, and never cuts more or less without asking me. Even if she is on vacation, and i have to ask one of the other ladies to cut my hair, they do a tremendous job as well. As long as Maricela is at Supercuts, I will be there. I wish to have no one else take care of my hair. The hot towel is so good after the cut. It makes me want to sleep in the chair!!!! LOL. thank ladies of supercuts in Pearland. The lady who assisted me kept blowing me off when I tried to show her pictures of how I wanted my hair. I explained to her that I NEVER get the top cut because I was trying to let it grow and that I ONLY needed her to clean up (taper) the sides and back ONLY. She kept interrupting when I would try to explain how I wanted my hair and assured me she has been "doing this for years," and she "know" what I wanted done. She claimed she wasn't going to cut the top and that she was "just going to clean it up" and "trim the corners." This lady cut so much of my hair, cut it so short and uneven, and did the total opposite of what I asked. My hair is uneven in some areas. I am SO disappointed and disgusted in my hair and the services she provided. I didn't get her name, but she's the second station on the left when you walk in. On the side behind the check-in counter. She bragged on how long she's been "doing this," but her work did not speak for itself. I have pictures to back up my complaint. I posted on their site, and they kept deleting my post, and no one took time to reach out to me. Never again will I use their services. read more

If I could zero stars I would. This lady needs to be fire, she ruined my 2 year olds hair, didn't listen to me at all. She cut off like 1.5 inches off my daughters hair and she's already struggling in the hair department. She gave my daughter a haircut I didn't ask for, I just said to cut the ends and she decided to give her hair layers. Stupid stupid lady rush through my daughters hair like it was just a regular haircut when this was her first haircut. I'm so mad like she shouldn't be dealing with kids hair. She has no personality, my daughter literally had bangs now, I'm trying to grow her hair out not embrace a short hairstyle. I literally told her "you're cutting too much" and she ignored me and said I'm keeping the length, BS...I'm so so mad you can't put the hair back on Like do you guys train your people to listen to their customers? I asked a hairdresser named Lynette for 3 inches off and she cut 12 when I explained I don't like short hair and I had Christmas family photos due to out of town family coming In Christmas cards in two days. who cuts off 12 inches when the customer says 3, and says "you had dead ends", and cut 9 inches extra off more without asking me. I was not given a choice or asked if cutting more was okay or if if I would be comfortable with it. The shop had nobody in it so she had time to ask questions. Lynette (blond lady) rushed though my cut. Also no test strand for the hair cut length or when my color was cut which a person with experience should know to do. Update:10 days later nobody has contacted me in regards to my terrible experience of being rushed, no apologies given about total disregard for my hair cut being ruined. Basically the owner DID NOT reach out to me as off 11-21-22. Talk about bad service. read more

We asked for a boy's haircut. She cut it using scissors. Then when the hair around ears and neck needed trimming, she said we would be charged for two haircuts. I asked her name, she refused to tell me. I try to look at her license and she snatched it away from station. Very rude people. She also refused to tell me who the manager was or how to contact. Erika is awesome! I arrived around 11:45 and was seen after about 10 minutes. By noon the waiting area had begun to fill up. So while they do not require an appointment, I would call ahead and see if there is going to be a wait. So let me tell you why I love Erika. She was honest in what she thought would look good on me, she didn't try and force the awkward small talk, and she wasn't pushy in trying to sell me things. When I sat down I told her what I was thinking and she made a couple recommendations that worked out very well. While she cut my hair I had the rare opportunity to enjoy the silence and relax, though we did share some funny stories with each other. Another thing I loved was how cheap it was. She cut off a ton of hair and did a great job for $15.50! I will be asking for her next time I come back! read more

I would give 0 stars if I had a choice. They made me wait forever about 40 mins and said the wait was only 15-20 mins. They gave me wrong info over the phone and said a blow out started at $15 and then quoted me a ridiculous price on my blow out after waiting forever. A blow out in River Oaks costs much less than the ridiculous price they quoted to me here. This is not even a proper salon. They refused to take an appt, made me wait forever and the customer service was terrible. Never again will I return! Btw, this is the Super Cuts in Pearland near the HEB! I would just like to rave about Erica!!! I came in today with a mess up from another salon. Erica was very quick to help fix it. She was incredibly thorough while Cross checking the other stylists work. I have been in the hair industry for over 10 years now. However have not worked in a salon in about five years. ALL they know how to do is boy cuts. I'm an African American with a short hair cut. Two different times have they jacked up my cut. I grew it back out after 3 months and went back to then like a dumbass just to clean it up and cut the back. I walked out damn near bald headed again with a boy cut. I'm almost in tears. I know it will grow back, but I worked hard to grow it out just for them to fuck it up again. If only I could turn back the hands of time. read more

I came here again, against my better judgement for another quick cut. This time I can say the cut and stylist was actually decent. The salon itself though was a bit dirty and stylist that did not have customers were sitting down and playing on their phones verses cleaning up the messy salon. I'm really disappointed in this location as I really do want to like it. The one thing that got me to come back, the reasonable price is no longer valid. As I surprisingly found out when I went to check out, that $13.95 price before any coupons had jumped to $17.95. Totally not worth the increase in price. I have a feeling they will lose even more business from this. For the price you can get a much better cut and experience somewhere else. I won't be back. read more

I just had a haircut here on a Saturday morning. Here is how it went. Hair stylist "June" was assigned to me. She asked me scissors or machine..I said scissors and mentioned a size 5 to make aware of how short I want. She just took a trimmer and started doing the haircut. I asked her why would you use trimmer when I asked you specifically for scissors. She said 5 is only for machines and when I said her 5 she thought I was referring machine. She offered she can do a scissors cut if I want at that point. I said okay and she continued to cut my hair very roughly and clearly see that in her actions that she is upset and showed it on my haircut. Finally I had a bad haircut with a short and funny hair for my conference next week. Communication is very bad with this hair stylist and the way she treated me also is not certainly the way to deal with a customer. I don't feel like I am valued at this location with her actions. Of course I made a mistake of asking her scissors and gave her a number but she would have told those won't match with each other. It's not just that day's haircut but you have to live with that for few weeks. So when you are at this location for any reason, please avoid these kind of rude hair stylist s(June was her name). My husband has been getting his hair cut here by a lady named Erika for almost 2 years now. She's always super friendly and cuts his hair the way that he actually asks to get it cut. The staff is very nice to my children and they always give them a lollipop which is the highlight of my daughters day. They keep the place clean as well. I am not sure about the other stylists, but Erika is good! read more

For a hair cut its an ok place. I brought my daughter in for basic hair cut it was done ok. What did surprise me is that there were about 3 people waiting for hair cuts while one stylist is busy doing her own hair treatment and blow drying her hair before taking in any of the waiting clients. I could see them starring and I was starring myself. As a customer did not seem to be appropriate. I won't be coming back for sure. read more

I came here today with my little girl. The experience I had was awful. The stylist was Shantell she was horrible with my two year old. Very unprofessional and saying words like "you're so stupid" and laughing loud as she spoke to another stylist. I was not trying to make things uncomfortable so didn't say anything when she kept yelling at my daughter "stay still" "Stay still"!!! It was just not nice at all. I will never come here again. I also got a haircut from her and I asked her for the package that included the shampoo and blow dry but she seemed like she didn't want to work today, she says to me "so you're going to pay $30 for blow dry?" I said no I want the package that includes all she said "Oh no! I don't style it I'm just going to run my fingers through your hair with a hair drier until it's not so wet" I was like ok never mind just a haircut then. I think this place can use a little cleaning, the mirror at shantell's booth was dirty and her station was dirty as well. I don't recommend this place. Take your money elsewhere there's plenty of better places to get a haircut from. read more

Good basic haircut for $15 that is quick with no wait. They don't do any extras like a shampoo either before or after the cut and no massage at all. If all you want is a quick inexpensive men's haircut then this place should work fine. read more

I sent my mother to this location because its the closest one I usually go to the one on Braeswoodand. Ive come to this place and is "Okay" maybe a 8 but I sent her here thinking she would get her hair done quick, its about 5 min away from home. Now, my mother doesn't speak much english but she understands every word. When she got there there was no one. Lady in the front desk said to wait for Erica. She waited 2 hours so that "Erica" could not have the nerve to come out and assist my mother. They called her several times and never came out.. My mother didn't care who helped her at this point all she wanted was to get a hair cut. She felt discriminated and insulted. While they laughed and giggled NO ONE BOTHERED to make sure she was assisted. I will continue to make my drive to Braeswood and never recommend anyone here. I work for customer service myself and the most important part of this is how you treat and make people feel. This treatment they gave her was horrible and I hope no one has to go through this because its very upsetting. read more
