My husband and I made an appointment online with the stylist we like. We chose the time she was available, and showed up on time. We checked we had checked it online and told the hostess when we arrived. After sitting there for 15 minutes we were asked our names. I reiterated we had checked on online and she responded yeah we don't use that. I told her we pick the time and the stylist that we wanted and she said it doesn't work that way. I told her we use the app and she replied we don't use that. So you will be taken in the order you came in today. There was three people ahead of us and only two stylists available. The people ahead of us had not checked in online or made an appointment. We were not waiting for them to get their haircuts to get ours and left. I asked to keep my hair long but apparently long to them is taking 2 inches off and giving me almost a complete buzz cut with the scissors. On top of this my sideburns where uneven and needed to be fixed after I got home. I will never be back and have never received a worse haircut. read more

I wish I could attach photos of such a good job the stylists do at Supercuts Morrell. My hair has finally grown to the length and healthy condition it has not been in for about 5 years. I am in my early 60s and my husband and friends say I look about 45 with the new length Updated 2019, color, shine and condition. If you are out of town, you really should save some $$$$$ by going to NE Phila Morrell Supercuts. It is more than reasonable. They do color, the conditioner which is awesome you will not even think about costly keratin and just being comfortable and really relaxed, no gossip, no pokey questions just a nice mini getaway for a great haircut, style, updoes and curls are the greatest well...my son and I have been coming here for about 10 years. this is by far the worst haircut i've gotten. I've been going there for months and they give okay haircuts. My hair was 5-6 inches long and i said take an inch off the top with shears and she left an inch and a half of hair on my head and have me a hard part when i never asked for one. I have been meaning to write a review for the longest and finally sat down to do so. I cannot recommend Milly enough! I started going to her when she was at a different salon. During that time I was going through a nasty divorce and needed a change. I gave her the freedom to do whatever she wanted and we went from super long to a short styled bob with low lights. I was so amazed and felt like a new person. some time passed and I moved to Delaware and I went to a different person for a cut. It turned out absolutely horrible. I ended up finding her online and found she was working at Super Cuts in morrell plaza. I took the hour and a half drive to her and she fixed the horrible haircut I got. I opted for a straight cut just to fix my hair because it was choppy. This may sound weird but I was happy with that because I've also had people not be able to do a straight cut right. I let it grow out a bit and just went back recently for another hair cut and dye. Again I let her do whatever she wanted and it turned out absolutely amazing. I was even more ecstatic because I got a whole now look for my graduation. This is the shortest I've ever had my hair and I love it. I also have watched her cut mens and kids hair and it always turns out awesome. She is the best and its worth the hour and a half drive to her. I've had some seriously bad haircuts through the years, so as a result, haircuts tend to be a dramatic thing for me. I've been to this particular supercuts 3 times now, and I'm always pleased with the results. I make sure I see Tiffany every time. She completely understands my anxiety and has such a calming effect. Plus, she always does a great job, doing whatever I need of her and giving me honest opinions when I ask. She's great with hair tips, too! read more

It's nice to get my hair cut by a professional and not someone who got their license out of a cereal box. I've never had a bad haircut from the wonderful staff at this location, I would know my grandmother used to use a bowl to cut my hair. Seriously disappointed... I typically go to Supercuts on South Street and am very pleased with the hair cut I get there. SO I figured this should be just as good right? WRONG. The woman cutting my hair (while very nice) was more interested in talking and telling me about her dogs than giving me a decent hair cut. I am all for the typical banter between a barber and their customer, but it obviously distracted her from doing her job well. One side of my head was shaved higher than the other, she forgot to cut the hair on top (until I reminded her), and didn't trim around my ears at all. When I got home I had to do that part myself. So I definitely won't be going back here in 2 weeks when I need another cut. read more

Terrible doesn't even deserve a single star. Gave the place a second chance after getting a terrible (boxy and uneven haircut the first time!) and they not only cut my hair so much shorter by probably 5 inches when all I asked for was a trim, but they messed up the lengths of my hair so bad that even after getting it fixed it's terrible and boxy. I informed the lady cutting my hair that I had angles. She then continued to cut my hair the way she wanted to straight across and not the way I asked and it still looked terrible. The pictures I have that I took after coming here, I show to my friends and they wonder how someone thought that haircut was even okay to make someone pay for let alone leave the store like that. I won't ever go back, used to be convenient because it's across the street from but they just lost a loyal customer. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION TO ANYONE. If you are a female looking to get a haircut go somewhere else because it seems that they can only cut men's hair. Long hair must be too complicated for them. read more

my husband and I went there on Saturday. so unorganized only two girls working then a new girl came in (which is fine you have to start somewhere. practice makes perfect. )they were turning people away. instead of starting with my color then doing my husband, they did him first. then started me. with the new girl. again fine. however, she had NO mentoring I was there for almost 4 hours. I do like the color and the blow out even though it took forever.. needless to say I will not be returning . they don't know how to delegate their work. read more
