I wouldn't say that I had bad experience but nothing extraordinary as well. Better to say that it's your luck because barber keeps changing here and hence i never had a particular hairdresser to go for all the time. Got almost new barber to cut my hair everytime. Few times satisfied and other few times with mixed results. Management has tp ensure that barber stick for long. Pricing is anyways not less. read more

I made my appointment on Super Cuts's app . My appointment was with Lucy. There was an hour wait; so I went to get something to eat. When I returned in 45 minutes, Lucy managed to pawn me off on Victoria Chapman, so that she could cut a man's hair. I was called by Victoria first. The man was called back after me. This was not logical; it seemed selective. I didn't want Victoria cutting my hair, based on her own uneven cut and poor dye job; but I opted to continue. After all, how hard is it to cut a straight line? Apparently, more difficult than I gave credit for. She proceeded to the back room to get a spray bottle and clips. I mentioned that I requested a wash and cut. Her response was "oh; I don't read those things." Why have it as an option on the app then? After the wash, she asked how I part my hair. In the middle. She proceeds to comb and clip my hair. I mention the part isn't straight. She said "oh, that's okay; it doesn't have to be." I'm sorry... what?!? I let her continue for two more minutes and then explained the uneven (non-centered) part is really bothering me. She fixed it. She proceeded to tell me how she just got her license two years ago and started working here seven months ago; all the while, making it sound like she's been here for a long time. I'm not sure my cut is even because she never handed me a mirror to look at the back. I'm going to wait until it dries before I evaluate further. There's an app where you can check in to save some time. This location doesn't get as crowded as the others nearby. I've never waited more than 10 minutes even on weekends. Every stylist who has helped me here has been friendly and usually very fast. It's a no frills, straightforward, family-friendly, reliable salon. First let me say that the only reason I gave this place 2 stars was because a former stylist named joey was fabulous. He cut my hair twice and was SUPERB. I've been back 2 more times since Joey left. 2nd visit....waited 45 minutes. This was after my online check in time. I saw Jackie. Meh. a flat tire has more personality. I give the cut an 8. She didn't smile, didn't ask me anything. Jackie shouldn't be in the retail business if she's not a people person. 3rd time- I checked in online for an 11:20 appt with Michelle, the manager. Got there at 11:10. It'll be 20 minutes. fine. no problem. She's talking about herself to the customer. Talking to another stylist about hiring another stylist. Asking if this other stylist tick tock tick tock tick tock tick tock tick tock. ONE HOUR LATER She's sweeping the floor taking tape out of the register takes something out of her purse and goes into the bathroom. 10 minutes more! I'm not sure what the reason is for checking in on-line if we're just going to sit there for an hour anyway. I sat there for an hour on purpose, waiting to see if at least ONE person said anything to me as I was the only one there. NOBODY said anything. I left. Not a phone call (you have to check in with a phone number) I'm going back to my "real" salon where they care about their customers. read more

I had an appointment at this salon for highlights and a trim that I made in advance. I got checked in and sat down to get my hair done. I sat there for 15 minutes only to be told that they couldn't do my color because nobody would be there to do it. The lady that checked me in could have easily told me that she was leaving and that they couldn't do it. Not only was it extremely unprofessional, they were also very rude about it. It would be one thing if I hadn't of made an appointment but I made a plan ahead of time to get this done only to wait for forever and then be told no. This isn't the first time it's happened. The previous time I was in they refused to color my hair the way I had asked them to after being told two days prior that they could do it. If I could give this place zero stars I would. read more

Had a hair cut appointment at 3:30pm. Got there at 3:20 and checked in. There were 2 people cutting hair. 1 was doing a color and the other has 2 people she was helping, a hair cut and another getting color. After she finished with the haircut she said she had to take care of the person getting there hair colored and would be right with me. The other was sitting down talking with the customer getting their hair colored for over 20 minutes. I waited until 4:05 pm and left. Either help people or block out the time if you don't want to help while doing a hair color. Very poor customer service. read more

Went in for an overdue cut today. It's nice to have a location closer to home. The wait was pleasant and I was taken care of very quickly. What I also really like about this salon is that they are a full service salon, they provide waxing services and at very reasonable prices. I went and seen Lucy today. She was wonderful. Her conversation was casual like I prefer and she trimmed my hair and gave me layers. Here's my thing, I've been growing my hair out since last year so I was scared someone would go too short. I told her I just wanted layers but she was able to do layers and trim hair so it didn't look so raggedy AND also made it look like I didn't lose length. She's going to be my "go to" from now on. Uneven with no style as ask for, one only trim 1/4 inch off and one a style cut charged $20.00 each and sold expensive hair products. Told really needed it. Worst experience ever. I am always concerned when it comes to haircuts and need perfection and that's what I told to Coryn during my visit last month. The very next week I was going out on a big adventurous trip and needed to fix my hairstyle. Coryn was very patient about my requirement, and understood everything with all the details I was telling (even though I was not good with explaining the part by my side). After the haircut, it was so good that I wish I could give some award to her but posting it here so her work will be appreciated. The stylist was nice and haircut is fine but unfortunately I left with a bad taste in my mouth. Apparently the owners do not allow coupons that aren't printed. Which is so silly. I register my email address today, downloaded the app so that I could check in and save time. I received an email with a $2 off coupon. I checked in on the app, arrived. Waited 30 minutes.... got my haircut and then tried to use my coupon only to be told it had to be printed to be accepted. I think that is rediculous. We are in a digital world. It should say on the coupon that it must be printed to be honored. It's too bad that the owners make up a bogus policy and require the stylist enforce it. This makes the final minutes of the transaction unpleasant which could effect the amount of a tip (I still tipped appropriately). It did definitely confirm the fact that I won't be returning to this location. read more

Supercuts by far has been the best place I have been apart of. I love that Im apart of such a great team. Unfortunately we are short staffed currently so our wait time is longer than we would like it to be, we do have online check in by downloading the supercuts app. When you check in online it puts you on our list in the appropriate spot for your check in time, but it wont show your name on our board until you actually enter the salon and let us know your checked in online. We are trying our best do serve everyone that walks through our doors but we are only human and can only do soo much. This place doesn't want your business. I think it must be under new management in the past few months because it has gotten so bad. There is usually only one hair dresser who doesn't want to work. The past three times I've been in she has turned away walk-in business and people who are calling to check in. They don't want to take you unless you check in online. It is crazy! Well when they say you get what you paid for don't be surprised if they mean here. It's clean I will say that but since I was the only person in there for almost 1/2 an hour I guess that's too be expected. Bad! I have been using this salon since they opened. Its close to where I live so its convenient. Over the last 6 months I have been going when they open@8 on Saturdays as it works best for me and each time I feel like I am an inconvenience its the same stylist "jackie" this last time was the end all for me with the salon not only did she open the salon late (as usual) she didnt say one word to me other than "how do u want it cut" no good morning nothing she then did one quick swoop around my hair pulled off my cape and said ok ur done never even asked if it was ok if I needed anything else etc. Although I was disappointed I still left my normal 5.00 tip but won't be back.
