The girl who did my hair was extremely kind however I would not recommend a service here to anyone. I came in with extremely blonde hair and a grown out root . I wanted to get an all over color to match my root color and make my hair solid. Initially the receptionist asked the stylist if she was comfortable doing color which should have been my first red flag. When I got behind the chair she told me that she planned to put a filler color in the bleached part of my hair then my root color all over . She 'color corrected' my blonde which turned it pink. She then proceeded to paint over what she initially put in my hair and I asked her if it was a neutral tone because it seemed very yellow which did not match my hair. She assured me that it was. I let her finish the process and wash my hair out and my root was now orange with the rest of my hair being a brown/burgundy color. I was shocked and told her that I didn't think the color was what I asked for. She offered to color over it and neutralize it (like I asked for in the first place). Unfortunately the damage was already done and irreversible. I was upset but quite frankly didn't want her to touch my hair again. I went outside and noticed how severely mismatched it was all throughout my head . I went back in and showed the receptionist and stylist a photo of what I was seeing and they told me they didn't see it . At this point I was in tears and the receptionist asked if I wanted to come back another day and get it corrected by another stylist or get a refund . I was so upset and told her I didn't even know how the stylist could fix it given she had colored my hair so far from what I asked for. She refunded me and let me know she wouldn't be able to refund for color again due to her 'supervisor' s reminder that they 'don't do that on color services.' The girls here are always so nice! They always give the best service whether it's late at night or In the afternoon. I usually get a trim and occasionally I will have layers added in. I have also had my hair colored once and I love the hair dye they use. They don't use the cheap stuff that you can get at the beauty supply. On my hair they used a Paul Mitchell dye in dark brown and it turned out fantastic. The stylist that died my hair was extremely professional and kept the dye off of my face and on my hair which was nice because the next day I didn't have that nasty line around my face from the hair dye! read more

I took my son their this morning to get a cut. first off I noticed the woman (the one without the glasses) sweep up the hair after the client she was working on. She was complaining about the kids just moving around they weren't jumping on the furniture or anything. she calls my son over to the chair,She starts his cut and just starts complaining and making comments that he was moving he wasn't even really moving. Then she goes I'm going to have to stop I can't do this! She turn around to him and snaps at him it's almost done then she asked me how much you want off the top I just told her to leave it. I was over her attitude towards my son, she was extremely rude. I didn't say anything and still gave her a tip. After paying she's still making comment as I'm waking out. He still need a haircut .I wouldn't recommend this place for kids, or anyone rude. I've never experienced this at any other salon/barbershop read more

Definitely won't be going again. Made appt for one time. Got there and they said they were busy, could I come back in a hour. Then we came back and waited20 minutes. I made my appointment online. Online they had quite a few openings. I made it for 3:30. When I got there, they said the appointment didn't go through and that they couldn't see me at all. She said she was booked but funny how no one was there but a few customers. I could have waited. But this isn't the first time that this location one has done me wrong. 2 times is a charm. I will not be going back. In this heat no one wants to be out driving around looking for a place for a haircut. That's why I did it online. Unreal that no one could "see" me. Today I just wanted to get my hair cut without an appointment and a spur-of-the-moment kind of deal. I called ahead and they said it would be 30 minutes, and when I got there I sat down and then they called me up. Tracy was my stylist, she was friendly and attentive told me what she was doing what she was using, as in hair products, and also told me what the charging would be like for the cut or blow-dry xcetera. I was surprised how great my hair came out because I have paid a great deal more downtown for the same services. I will say the parking can be a little daunting, but I found one close to the store. I will be back and if you're on a budget it's way better than trying to get your haircut for 50 bucks downtown. read more

I brought my mom in for a haircut recently and had a wonderful experience with the entire staff. The wait was short, the receptionist was very pleasant and bubbly, whole place had a great vibe. The best part was the stylist, a young lady named Nicole. She was very patient and attentive to my mother who is elderly and I do appreciated her demeanor and skill set, she did a fantastic job with my mom's hair and took the time to do it right. I was a little shocked to see some of the negative reviews about this SuperCuts. I've been going here for years and have only had positive experiences. I had to laugh at the 2 star review that was recently left because a customer of 9 years who left a $20 tip every time was pissed because they didn't receive "VIP" treatment. This is SuperCuts, not a club in Vegas. Seems disingenuous and entitled to call this place "the Walmart of hair salons" just because you didn't call ahead and had to wait like everybody else who walked in. Speaking of the wait, yes they do get busy, but you can cut down your wait time significantly by calling ahead or using their mobile app. The free SuperCuts mobile app allows you to choose who you want to cut your hair and set a time. read more

What can I say about a great place to get your hair cut? Now lets start by saying that I have paid upwards of $60 for a good cut at a really nice salon on state st. downtown Redlands. But $16 is a super deal and I have had upwards of 20 compliments on my new do in the past 2 days. I am a very happy customer and am extremely pleased to issue this 5 star rating. Service was great (I only waited 5 minutes). I received exactly what I paid for. The price was good. An awesome selection of hair care products. The location is good. I really do recommend this place for guys and girls alike. It is only fair to mention thatI have been here before and nothing stood out because I had been getting the same color and cut for 5 years. She has great instincts for cutting hair, and she uses a variety of texturizing/shaping techniques that one would pay top dollar for in other salons. Been coming to this branch for close to 20 years, started back when it was in the Tri-City shopping center. I prefer Sandra, but all the ladies are really nice and do an excellent job. My Fiancee had issues here and doesn't come anymore, but I'm loyal until the end. Only Issue I've had since they moved to the Orange location is the Parking situation. Also I would recommend a TV (if that's possible) because the waits can get a tad long. read more

I really don't understand the complaints about having to wait. No matter where you go, there is usually a wait. That's why they allow you to call in ahead of time. If you don't want to wait, call. It's pretty simple and getting frustrated because the stylist isn't on time....really? Have you never been late to work? Kid is sick, car trouble, not feeling well, just didn't want to get out of bed. Things happen. If you're so amazing of a person and your time is so valuable that you absolutely cannot deal with someone being late, get a flowbee and start cutting your own hair. With that said, this place is alright by me. I've been coming here for about 4 years now and will not go anywhere else. Well, if my regular stylist leaves, I'll probably follow her. Haha. Sorry! Seriously though. Everyone is great. They are all good at what they do, friendly and really make you feel like family. When I got married, everyone knew and asked about the wedding and honeymoon. Just today, they asked about me ridding motorcycles. I haven't ridden a bike there in a over a year and they remember. Additionally, I usually do not wait more than a few minutes. Days where the wait is long it is usually do to something like back to school, holiday, big times of the year where parents are grooming their children. So to the people complaining about wait times, not feeling like a "VIP" or just angry because they didn't have time to do your 4 hair hair job, bye Felecia. You're probably not much fun to be around anyway. Anyone else looking for a place to get their hair did and at a fair price, you should give it a try. My mom and I came in yesterday. I used to spend $175 every 2 months on my hair and finances changed so I haven't been able to; I went to "Grace" yesterday and she was so good. My 10 and 2 year old girls desperately needed haircuts and I kept forgetting to schedule them at our regular place. Had a free moment today so I took them to Supercuts between errands. They sprayed each girl's hair with water and gave them a trim. The oldest asked for her hair to be dried and curled. We were there a total of 25 minutes. My bill came to a whopping 54 freaking dollars before tip! They charged me $17 for each spray and cut and $20 for the 10 minutes it took to curl one's hair!!! (If only I knew you could make $20 for 10 minutes of work right out of beauty school.) The lady up front apologized for the prices not being clarified but it didn't make it a difference. Never taking them anywhere but Alexis Victoria Salon where they charge a reasonable $15 to shampoo, give a quality cut and style each girl's hair. read more

I had been coming here for 9 years (I followed them from their precious location) and the haircut is ok. I kept coming back out of habit. I always tip $20 for the $15 dollar haircut. For the past year it's been harder and harder to get in because they are too busy. If you call in ahead you can save some time, but I really hate waiting. I guess I was hoping they would treat me like a VIP because I've been coming there for so long and tipped so well but NO! This place is the walmart of barbers. Nobody cares about you. I went here to have my beautiful hair, (which was thick, wavy and down the middle of my back) layered, just slightly. I went to Missy. When I got home and my hair dried, I discovered that my hair was now hanging in short chunks!! The shortest piece didn't even touch my shoulder and it was like she just cut it straight across from the chin into the back of my hair. I am horrified!! Nothing, short of cutting off 4 more inches will correct this! The pieces are so uneven, when I put a curling iron to it, nothing blends at all!!! I went to another salon and even they said I would have to cut a lot off to make it even slightly better. I will NEVER be back!!!!! read more

I needed a quick cut but this is not what i expected. I had a bad experience once before at another super cuts location but I thought I would give them a second chance, bad decision on my part. I wasn't pleased with the service I received. I showed the stylist a picture of what I wanted and it came out nothing like what I showed her. I was very disappointed and now am going back to my regular more pricey salon to fix the damage and get the cut that I want. The stylist did not know how to cut bangs correctly even though she stated she worked there for 7 years and she don't seem to know how to handle the scissors like a professional should. If your looking for a quick cheap trim then you'll have no problem, otherwise save your money and go to an actual salon. Won't ever go back to a super cuts. read more

I have been getting my haircut by Leanna for almost 32 years (started at the Tri Center Supercuts and followed her to the Orange Street Supercuts). Great styles, fabulous service, excellent prices, and you can call in before you go......and you feel like you are with friends and family. Can't imagine going anywhere else! Just this weekend I visited and requested a super short edgy cut, and Leanna was excited to give me the cut I wanted! Everyone I have come into contact with has given me so many compliments. If I could give this place one star I would. My sister came to me in tears after her experience here. If you are going to go here for a haircut do not have Sandra do your hair. She razored my sisters layers in, did not make sure her hair was coated in the hair dye and thinned her beautifully thick hair to not return. She went in for a simple trim and dye and now my sisters only solution is to hack her hair off. $70 down the drain. read more

I hardly know what to say.....my arm in a cast, my hair really needed washing and it is Monday, so my regular salon is closed. At that salon, Technicolor, I am welcomed with a warm tea tree infused towel. I pay $25 for a shampoo with PMitchell tea tree products in a dedicated wash room with mood lighting. The shampoo always includes a fabulous head massage and is followed by a blow dry and expert styling using Paul Mitchell products. I made an appt. at Supercuts for the Tea Tree Experience. The stylist never introduced herself so I don't know her name, but she asked if I wanted the tea tree conditioner, and I reiterated the Tea Tree experience, which according to the Supercuts website, includes a head and neck massage and a warm towel to finish. My Supercuts Tea Tree experience began with the hot towels, and they were generously infused with tea tree oil. But the centerpiece of the experience, the shampoo experience, was really inferior. Usually, at my regular salon, the PM tea tree conditioner provides a refreshing scalp tingling, but here it did not, and there was no head, temple or neck massage. And country music was playing quite loudly in the foreground. Both my stylist and Missy at the front desk indicated in response to my questions that the TT experience was about the hot face towels. When I said I didn't get a head massage, Missy told me I wouldn't have, as it was mostly about the towels. Supercuts charges $5 for a regular shampoo. Supercuts charges $12 for the TT Experience. Two and a half times the price of a regular shampoo. Two and a half times the price for some warm towels at this location!! Wow! That is false advertising. The manager at this location needs to ensure that all staff are familiar with the services as advertised. There are several videos on YouTube that show what the Supercuts Tea Tree experience should be. So, what was I charged at Supercuts for this experience? $12 plus $13 for a super basic blow dry (they begin at $10; no idea what could be more basic than what I got) So, $25 for this shampoo and basic blowdry at Supercuts.
