Went for basic haircut. Was charged $32. Asked for senior discount- but none offered After I got home I realized the shampoo that was supposed to be complimentary was probably charged for. The person on the phone said since it was my first time, there'd be no charge. I think there was a misunderstanding of some kind but this is the most Ive paid at any Supercuts. I told her I needed a shape and like to sweep bangs to the side. The cut was done in about five minutes without her asking what I liked or how much to take off. All in all it was ok. read more

I always have a good experience with Danielle. She is personable and professional. Her attention to detail is great. I don't need to say anything - she knows exactly what cut/style I would like. Since the new system was put in she made notes and always gets it right. In the past I have worn my contacts to hair appointments because I haven't really had confidence in my stylist but with Danielle I just wear my glasses and take them off. The advertised price for blowdry is 10.99,I was charged $28 to wash and dry my chin lenght bob. How did the price almost double? If I wouldn't have been in a hurry,I would have certainly asked and clarified the price and probably gone somewhere else. Took my son for a haircut as who we regularly use is on vacation. While we got in quite quickly, the person who did his haircut was very inexperienced. Often asking her coworkers for instructions. While I like to support novice and starting workers, I would think they should be provided adequate supervision until they are proficient. Not here! Had a specific hairstyle in mind, but hairdresser wanted something different. She barely took anything off, I asked for more shaping, cutting. She barely did anything, I finally decided it wasn't worth it. Went to register, she told me the price, I gave her the $3 coupon from the back of shoprite receipt, but she said it doesn't have the date on it. It's a 'coupon' that I got yesterday--if the date was necessary to use the coupon, why isn't it on the coupon itself? I'm not bringing in my entire receipt--it was so long, there were 3 supercut coupons on it so I cut the bottom one that didn't have my credit card information. I paid full price, but Needless to say, I won't be going back again. read more

When I came in as a walk in, they took me right away. However, they started off by saying they would only have to take 4 inches off of my hair- which had quite a few dead ends. For reference, my hair was down to my waist. First- they didn't ask me what kind of a cut I wanted, instead started with the cheapest one, spraying my hair with a bit of water and going ahead with it. Second- She made a face when I told her no, I hadn't used my straightener in over a month. Third- She started from the back of my hair, opting to chop 8 inches off of my hair when they specifically said they'd only take off 4. My hair is now incredibly short and I absolutely hate it. I spent the entire day trying to get it to cooperate and walked out with my hair still completely soaked through. In and out in 10 minutes without a care to what I actually wanted. I absolutely HATE my haircut. I came in with a photo of me with a haircut I wanted that I had in the past and that is not what I got. Every single time I look in the mirror I cringe because my hair looks so bad no matter what it's doing. I have really nice hair, I usually love my hair. Usually with a bad cut I can make it look fine if I straighten it, but because she cut so many random short and long layers it looks horrible! I have to spend so much time figuring out how to style it. It can look OK when I put it in a pony tail except that the cut is so short it falls out in the back and she cut a random layer short on the side which also falls out so I need so many pins to keep it up. For whatever stupid reason she cut the layers getting shorter towards the back instead of longer and it kind of looks like a mullet in the front sometimes because she cut a huge chunk of my hair short and left a little bit of the under layer long in the front. According to the receipt I got my hair cut by Barb. My friend also got her hair cut (her hair started out way longer than mine) and we both wanted our hair cut shoulder length and afterwards I found out that I was charged $6 more than her so I don't know how they price things. It seems really arbitrary. We both got the Supercuts III (shampoo, cut and style, $28 & up). I was charged $39 and she was charged $33. I can get a way better haircut in my neighborhood in NYC for $25! I really wish I did that. My friend got her hair cut by the younger girl with a bob and her hair came out looking way better than mine and was the cut she asked for. The woman I got with tan skin and lots of eye make up went through my cut so fast (she also cut it shorter than I asked for). I thought maybe it would get better, but it hasn't. I can not wait for that short layer in the back to grow out long enough for me to get it cut again. Ugh! read more

I went to this supercuts because I needed a quick fix. My hair had grown in oddly from a previous haircut and I needed a fix right away. I was able to walk in for an appointment and hardly had to wait. Brenda took me in and fixed my crazy hair. She listened to exactly what I wanted, and the cut turned out better than I could have hoped, especially because of the reasonable price. I was skeptical walking in the door, I didn't think I could get a quality hair cut at a place like super cuts, but I was pleasantly surprised. I only stopped at that shop because of the convenient hours and the necessity of a quick fix. I will definitely go back for my next hair cut. Brenda and the other girls there are great! read more

One of the worst hair cuts I have ever gotten! I honestly should have refused to pay after it was done but felt sorry for the lady....Worst fade of my life if you can even call it that...Showed her a picture of what I wanted and she just kind of glanced at it and said yeah yeah. She said that she is not a barber like at a barber shop because she dosen't have all the tools..She didn't have the tools..HA...Also don't have any skill..Nobody was even waiting and she rushed right thru it...Couldn't even get a straight beard line...Now I remember why I never go there and this is why...live and learn. read more

This place is absolutely horrible! I went in asking for the Shane haircut from the L word and I walked out looking like Darryl from the walking dead! I went and got it fixed at another hair salon and the woman couldn't believe how messed up my hair is! She couldn't believe that I actually walked into a hair salon to someone who was licensed to get chopped and hacked like this! My hair was so uneven it looked like Edward scissorhands cut it! I forget the woman's name at supercuts that messed my hair up but I will NEVER go there again and I will always try to deter anyone who is even thinking about going here! They were very unprofessional and did nothing for me but take my money and give me the worst haircut I have ever had in my life!
