I went for a cut right before Thanksgiving and asked for a shag haircut. It was wasn't until Christmas day that my mother (a hairdresser since 1979) pointed out to my that the layers in the back were all jacked up....something I failed to notice because I always wear my hair in a poinytail and pay little mind to. My mother could how badly the cut was while it was pulled back in a ponytail!! The stylist, Sandra, was nice enough but the experience leaves a lot to be desired. Did a call was told 2 minutes wait, walked in for my 2 year old son ...... sat 45+ minutes to watch 4 other people walk in without appointments....... Guy cutting hair obviously didn't want to take a young kid........ not the first time issue here, also had issues with my 7 year old. The service and employee attitude is piss poor here. My partner came in on 417 w/one stylist working and left. Made and appointment for 4/18 at 11a and ended up walking out due to employee telling him she could walk away and go into the back room "because she could" and after the fact he asked why she and the other staff member weren't cutting hair of the other clients who made appointments. She didn't like he stood for himself and pointed out her nasty attitude! read more

Whoever the woman is that just cut my husbands hair today, she should NEVER be allowed to TOUCH a pair of scissors again! OMG she made my husband look like the little Dutch girl with an uneven cut and super thin bangs! And she didn't even bother to do the back right! I am so disgusted right now! I went in last week for a simple trim and wash. I usually wear my hair up when I go to work so I didn't notice until a few days later with I dried and styled it. My hair in the back is two different lengths. I called them today to see if I could send pictures just so they are aware of the work that they're employees are doing. She offered to fix it. I then asked for a credit because there is no way I would ever go back to this place. I went in and took off 3inches, now I have to go elsewhere to have it fixed and take off another 2inches just so everything is even. I'm very unhappy. Would've been okay with a credit so I could purchase hair products. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE. I could've cut my hair better myself. read more

Ms.Theresa cut my one year olds hair today. She did a wonderful job keeping him happy and safe while she cut his hair. He did wiggle around and she did a GREAT job making his hair even and cutting it exactly how I asked her too. He looks great. I highly recommend her for your little ones. Normally Claudia cuts my hair(amazing customer service and results) but today went in and she was busy another lady ended up cutting my hair ( won't be making that mistake again). She was extremely rude and spent maybe 5 mins in the chair she missed the whole left side of my head and then was just very rude overall. Took my daughter there just to get a trim. Her hair is pass her butt, only wanted 3 to 4 inches off. showed the guy exactly how much to take off. he took off about 8 to 10 inches!!!!!! he must have been blind or just mentally messed up. my daughter was so devistated. we were both in there crying. on top of that we wanted long layers. The man literally just chopped her hair, no layers at all. it was short on one side and long on the other. completely horrible. Most horrible haircut I have ever received. She shampooed my hair for about 30 seconds, and missed washing half my head, cut it completely jagged and one side is about half an inch longer than the other, not to mention cut 3 inches off when I asked for 1 off. Did not thin the back as I asked, and I had to re-wash my hair when I got home because she left so much product in it. My mother was shocked when I got home and even said my hair looked dirty and horrible. I called back to get a refund and the very rude lady refused. Poor customer service. Don't answer the phone and have online check in turned off. So when you show up two hours prior to closing they ask if you called ahead (tried to but you can't answer) then proceed to let you know they are all booked for the day. Didn't even take time to ask what service I was looking for. read more

I asked for close shaves sides and trim the top. This is what I got. The lady didn't even notice the long pieces of hair until I pointed them out then the lady (I think the owner) next to her said it needed to be trimmed. She fixed that one section and left the rest all different lengths. If that was the owner she should have jumped in. I went home and fixed it the beat I could. read more

Let me first begin by saying how desperately I needed a haircut. As someone who has alopecia it can be tricky to find someone who takes care of all my needs. Today I went on a whim to get my haircut here. I called and was able to be seen the same day by an absolute delight named Teresa. She was attentive, caring and just so pleasant. I am so happy with my results!! She did exactly as I asked and gave me great advice on how to maintain by hair. I have spent so much money at big salons and realize how disappointing it is to spend hundreds but I spent $23 and have gotten the best haircut I have ever received. Wow I will be back. Funny my boyfriend actually gets his hair cut by her as well! Thank you Teresa looking forward to my next cut :) read more

The pricing board states for a shampoo and blow out $21 & a flat ironing $10. Not only wasn't I informed that apparently a blowout is being charged depending on hair length but they actually charged me for long hair while my daughters hair is more than obviously medium length. Instead of $31 I payed $45 and since I'm not an asshole I including a $10 tip; so I payed $55 for a service that left my daughter and myself more than dissatisfied. That's a fabulous start to a Saturday (yes, that's sarcasm!). The store (I refuse to call this place a salon) itself looks like it hasn't had a decent cleaning and / or upgrade in forever. It's quiet disgusting, really. We won't be coming back here; that is for sure. That's 2 haircuts ever 4 weeks you lost plus my husbands, who gets his hair cut every 3 weeks. Good job! read more

Went in to have my hair trimmed and thinned obviously the girl did not know how to use the thinNing shears my hair is ruined all the way around my hair line I have thin bangs, goin to take for ever to grow that out ,I had one length of hair. Went in to complain manager was very nice but said nothing she could do about it Now and was sorry, she it said it was a LearNing curve for her stylist ok my hair is ruined!!! Jordan, new manager there, has been our family stylist for several months. I'd say if others have issues perhaps they should ask for pricing details taking services, as with any service business. I left the salon in tears. I asked for 4-5 inches off and I got 9 inches cut off. Not only was it so short, it is choppy and my stylist was extremely rude. I will NEVER return to this salon, nor will I spend money at another Supercuts. read more

You get what you pay for I guess. Only one stylist there on Friday mornings, she had a long line of people waiting. I was in and out of the chair probably less than 10 minutes. And it showed. She parted it in the middle and after I told her I part to the side she said it didn't matter and it would be a "universal haircut". Literally makes no sense. My hair was so choppy. Once it dried it was so terrible, I had to go get it fixed elsewhere. Save your $20 and get a real haircut. read more

I went to Famous Hair for the first time tonight and I must say the two stylist working tonight, Amber and manager Jordan, have the best customer service. I listened to the lady sitting in Jordan's chair talk about the death of someone close to her. Jordan was very compassionate and told the lady her haircut was no charge because it was the least she could do. It restored my faith in humanity and I even teared up. They were both very kind and my daughter's hair looks great! read more

Walked out without any service (I only needed my eyebrows waxed and they truly acted like they were doing me a favor by speaking to me). Won't be returning.
