This is the place to go! From the get go, as I entered in everyone greeted me with a smile and just the overall vibe of the store was inviting. I was checked-in and had very LITTLE wait time and was immediately seen by my 'stylist' of choice (Trish). FYI - There are multiple ways to get check-in as they have the mobile app, or direct call-ins that you can do to schedule an appointment as well as they take direct walk-ins. Everyone has a horror story or two about getting their hair cut and having someone try to do what they would like when getting their haircut. I have quite a few and as I have been trying to find a stylist who not only knows what she's doing but has great customer service for the past 4-5 years... and I finally did! Trish is a gem I found! Even though hair grows back and mess-ups can be fixed this way, Trish is someone that always has made me not worry about my look or cut, but also someone who I trust. Now, I get my money's worth and not always having an issue month to month with my dew. I recommend this Supercuts location. I also recommend seeking Trish if you're looking for great customer service and a great finished Haircut everytime. After my recent visit, I noticed that all the other customers were satisfied with their stylist as well - so you can't go wrong here. From what I discovered, this is a new Supercuts location that popped up in the Villanova area. Not only is everything just clean, new and updated compared to other locations - it has a nice inviting set up to really just give that local barbershop/hair salon feel. Good haircuts (pending who you see) for good prices. Gracie is the absolute best. She's very knowledgeable and checks in throughout the haircut to ensure quality for the customer. You should book an appointment ahead of time online but they accept walk ins. Usually they're pretty efficient but the last few times have been disappointing. I had an appointment for 12 so I arrived at 11:55 but was finally taken back at 12:25 because they took a walk in before me. He then asked for color when his haircut was done and instead of making him wait since it was 20 mins past my appoint, he was given the color. read more

Just so everyone knows, they say they close at 7, but they stop cutting hair at 5. If you are planning to walk in between 5-7, because that's the only time in the week you have a time slot, to get a needed, overpriced haircut, don't do it. Upon walking in, they will meet you with looks of confusion when you ask if you can get your haircut (over an hour before they close). Do not expect to get a haircut at this Supercuts, they do not do those. I'm not sure if the people who work there actually realize they are supposed to cut people's hair, maybe they just think the hair magically gets on the ground. read more

I got a haircut here 11/12/24 and honestly was one of the worst experiences. First thing I need to say is the lady who cut my hair was completely dismissive every time I tried to explain what I wanted done. During this whole haircut I was just constantly told "yeah, yeah, I got it" on repeat. She definitely DID NOT get it. And that was frustrating cause I even brought pictures and examples and she barely looked at any of them. But the reason I'm pissed enough to write this yelp review is because since that day my head has been itching and for the life of me I couldn't figure out why until finally I googled my symptoms. Turns out I have barber's itch which is something you get when a hairdresser/salon fails to sterilize their equipment. So I'm writing this review so hopefully this can warn people and they don't suffer the same experience I did. It's hard enough dealing with a bad haircut but to get a fungal infection on top of it is just unbelievable read more

I went to Supercuts just to get a trim. I asked for two inches off my hair. When I first got my hair cut, it looked good. However, a day or two after getting it cut, I realized my ends were not even. Now I'll have to go to another hair salon to get my hair trimmed again so they can even out my ends. read more

Sam was the sweetest and made the experience wonderful! I had gone to Lansdowne location near my house and the two people I spoke with their were so rude and condescending that I told them to forget it and walked out. Little did they know I am a BIG tipper when I get good, not even great, service because I try to support women in business. I then drove out to Villanova and it was a clean, little well kept shop and they addressed me immediately and within minutes, knowing I was on a time crunch, sweet Sam took immediate care and did exactly what I asked her for. I will DeFiNiTeLy be going back there...I will NEVER go to the Landsowne on County Line Rd location again, ever, why would anyone go where they were treated disrespectfully and nastily? I over tipped Sam just because she was so lovely and kind and got me out with plenty of time to spare before my appointment. That is what I call Excellent Service!!! I wanted to give a shout-out to Tara at this location. Yesterday I had gotten my hair colored and cut with my stylist in King of Prussia (who I'd been going to for well over a year without incident). For some reason that stylist went rogue on me and F'ed up my color and cut. I am leaving the country in several days and didn't want to be seen looking the way I did. First thing this a.m. I went to this Villanova location as a Hail Mary to see if something could be done last-minute before I left town. Tara assessed the damage and offered up solutions. My hair was so brassy and over-highlighted that the toner wasn't quite doing the trick to tone it down. Tara stuck with it and my highlights look so good and blend with my base color so much better!! I appreciated her attention to detail and care in making sure she did all she could. Next, she corrected the weird haircut I had received - my stylist likes to use the razor blade to create layers vs. cutting them in with scissors. For my hair type it just looks too choppy and isn't blended well at all. Tara got to work fixing that hot mess. So, at the end of my Supercut visit, Tara greatly improved my hair color so that I'm no longer embarrassed walking down the street and my kids can no longer make fun of me - plus I no longer look like chunks of gum were cut out of my hair!! Phew. Such a relief to walk out the door feeling confident about how my hair looks! Thank you, thank you, Tara! read more

My two little kids got great haircuts here from Gracie. They are both a little nervous and not very excited about haircuts. They came in with long faces clinging to my leg but ran out skipping and laughing, just like that scene in Naked Gun when the couple comes out of the movie theater after watching Platoon. While I'm sure other barbers are great, the one I had was awful. Very rude, didn't want to be there, and seemed uninterested in what I actually wanted. I brought in a picture for reference but she barely took a look before putting it back on the counter. After explaining the length I wanted on the sides, she disputed and we went back and forth a few times before she capitulated (note, the length I wanted was the same it was in the picture, a one on the sides). After that, things were going well as she shaved the one side. Then, again, I had to dispute over the other side and how high I wanted the hairline to go. I went along with her this time, but only to see what she had in mind. She decided to blend the side up to the top on that side, but the blending was uneven. I eventually got what I wanted on that side, but only after her mistake was corrected and she shaved the same length up to the top. After shaving my arches, she asked what I thought. But before I gave an answer, she just started attacking another part of my head. She was very poor at communicating, speaking so softly that I could not hear her over the clipper, having to ask almost every time for her to repeat what she said. Also impatient throughout, seeming to just want to get me out of the chair. I'm sure you're more likely to have a good experience than a bad experience here, but if you had who I had, good luck. Didn't catch her name, but I wasn't exactly asking for her business card after leaving. read more

I'm not going to give this more than a single star. I live not far from this location. So other than convenient - that's it. The staff is very rude. They discourage people from waiting and exaggerate the wait times. I've witnessed it nearly every time. Also - the place is FILTHY.!!!! Every time I've gone I noticed a rash on my arms and neck from the chairs. They don't sanitize their instruments or wipe down the chairs and there are piles of brushes around the damp sink. It's really gross. I'm not sure they even wash the robes. It's really unpleasant. Never EVER again. read more

Since opening, this is where I get my hair cut because it is the closest to my home. I am not that particular when it comes to my hair, and will always allow whichever stylist is available to perform my generic male haircut. The last two haircuts I received were awful. Bad to the point of going to a competitor for a "fix". Needless to say I think I have given up on this Supercuts. read more
