The OWNER literally BUTCHERED my hair. She took less than 3 minutes to cut my hair, even though I was the only one in the salon at the time, not busy at all. She covered my hair with gel to make up for the horrible train wreck. She did not shampoo the gel off before coloring my hair. She did not show me what color she was putting in my hair, she did not even bother to ask. The color is supposed for sit for 10 minutes before you wash it off, I timed it at little over 7 minutes.... guess what, the color did not take. She brushed it off saying that's what you get for blending. I complained about what she had done so she literally patronized me by offering to not charge me for the hair cut, So I left her a tip for the entire amount of my hair cut. There was no apology or recognition of what she had done, she acted like I did not matter. I come in for a f/king haircut, you keep the hand out, just do your f/king job next time. I STRONGLY recommend to AVOID this salon if you are NOT WHITE, the owner.treats you like second class citizens. read more

I initially asked for a little cut off, she barely said two words the whole time she was cutting her hair, when I put my glasses on, I realized my hair looked almost the same. I asked her to cut a little more and she replied "I have to give you a whole new haircut, and it will be another 15 minutes". She ultimately refused to do what I asked her to. Mind you there was exactly one person waiting for a haircut, not busy at all...I left there looking pretty much the same. Not going back to this lady again. i'm not sure who did my hair but i don't like it i asked for see through bangs and they didn't know what that was so i was like scratch that don't do that and asked for side pieces that are sorta still bangs but cut them going downwards, and she did but they were uneven and on my right side it was thicker and my left and i had school the next day and my sister and mother then had to fix my hair as much as they could afterwards but although when my hair was messy u couldn't really tell and they were quite cute but i cant go to school with bed head read more

I had a very disappointing experience at this Supercuts. The woman who I got said next to nothing to me before the cut, asked nothing during the cut as to how I was feeling about the cut as it progressed, and when she decided she was done, whipped off the gown and walked away without a word but with a sour puss on her face. She took my money and tip, again no thank you, and then walked out of the store and went down the ship where she entered another store. That's not the way one should treat customers and I'll not be visiting that Supercuts again. I recommend no one else does either. read more

Horrible place to bring a child for a haircut! I am reposting my review as Yelp removed it ..what, because I was being honest? lady hairdresser named "Emine" (?) cut him on on the neck with the clipper/trimmer!!! I had brought my 3 year old son for his haircut and even if he was apprehensive getting his hair cut, he sat in the chair and let this lady (I think Emine is her name!) cut his hair while I let my son watch his favorite cartoon show on my iphone. I SPECIFICALLY told her that he doesnt like those razors/clipper/trimmer because of how it vibrates/feels against his skin and she said ok, we will just use the small one.... when she started using the trimmer on my son, I kept trying to tell her in a nice way "no he doesnt like it".. And even as my son kept moving away from it, she kept pushing to use it and as my son was getting more scared, she tried to hold my sons head so she can do the neck area!! Before I can say "just stop or never mind dont use it on him.." she scraped my sons neck with it!!!! You can immediately tell she scraped it bad, the way my son screamed and cried!!! The worst part was she DID NOT EVEN APOLOGIZE!!! I tried to keep calm as I was soothing my son and pointed out that she had scraped my sons neck with the trimmer...and if they have something to put on it (like lotion or ointment) ... You know what she offers me???! A lollipop for my son and a hand sanitizer!!! WTF ?! Of course that will sting my sons cut and make it worse!!!! This is no place to get a kids haircut! read more

This is now the second time I've had an issue here. I used the online check in for a basic haircut. I drove 25 minutes to get here. When I walk in, there's a line of 10 people waiting. I told the lady at the desk that I did the online check in and she tells me "no you didn't". What the hell. I showed her on my phone that I did, and she tells me, well, there's a bunch of people here who have been waiting so you have to wait until they're all done. I asked why have an online check in, and she tells me that that's done by corporate, they don't follow that. What a waste of my time. read more

Have been coming here for years. Love the staff and my boys always get a great haircut! The online check in process is a breeze! Never had an issue with checking in. The only issue I've had was seeing the way some customers treat the staff. They are so demanding and except then to be available 24/7! Come on, they are open 7 days a week. You have more than enough time to get a haircut but rather wait close to closing to come in? These girls have a family and life outside of supercuts! Haircut is poor quality. Stylist don't understand what a trim means. I've gotten cuts here as well as my 3 boys. Ambiguous rules on being able to watch and confirm the stylist understood what I wanted for my kids haircut. Sometimes sitting in empty chair is okay. Other times it's not. Depends on who is working. Haircuts are average at best. Speed is good but below average service. It was convenient to go here but will not be back. read more

Made the biggest mistake taking my kids here today. They both look ridiculous. Worst haircuts ever and to make it worse they charged adult price for a 2yr old and a 4yr old. They were both perfectly behaved and sat still yet my daughter looks like Jim Carrey in Dumb and Dumber :( I guess you go to a crap salon you should expect a crap cut. Supercuts - Route 23 north Wayne NJ - Just has the worst haircut ever! Last time ever for me at Supercuts! Never again! The hair cutter (not stylist) Narda didn't listen to the only two things I asked; 1) let back grow out 2) and I will trim my eye brows later. I watched her look all over the salon, paying attention to everything else and talking with others while she snipped away without looking at what she was doing. She cut my back hairline too short and it's at least 3/4" above the natural hairline and its uneven! She unexpectedly trimmed my eyebrows and too short! There's a huge chunk missing above my left side burns.... She used the hair dryer to blow hair clipping all over me and down my shirt... The music was too loud, the store was dirty and seems unorganized.... Never again. read more

I've been going to this place for almost 7 years and never had a problem until my last visit. But it was so bad I'll never set foot in that place again. First when I walked in I could see that there were all new people working. I've been going there so long I know all the usual employees, but none of them were there. Then they jumped all over me asking if I had "signed in". Never even heard of that in the 7 years I had been there. I could tell that all the other customers coming in never had either. But they made it sound like life or death. Then they ask me for my name. Ok no problem, I assume it's to "sign me in" or whatever so they can take people in the order they arrived. Then they start asking me for my phone number. I decline. You don't need my phone number to cut my hair. They get huffy with me because I decline and then start pressing me for my email address. Are you kidding? Just cut my hair! You don't need any of that. They start getting nasty with me about it. One lady actually said "it's just for coupons, it's silly not to give it to us!" Are you kidding? Seriously? If I wanted coupons I'd go online and get them. And she says "we won't spam you or anything. PFFFFF yeah right. I've heard that before. I guarantee if I had given her my info I'd be spammed until the end of time. Been there done that. No thanks. And then to say I was silly for not doing it with a sour look on your face? Made me so mad. So anyway my son and I finally get our hair cut. Lady actually does a good job on me. But my sons hair looks like it was chewed by rabid cattle. His "fade" had a distinct line all around his head. And his bangs were still down over his eyes and a FULL INCH longer on one side. The whole top was clumpy and uneven. But I didn't notice until I got home because I was in such a rush to get out of that place before they tied me up and forced me to give them my blood type or something. What a shame. I have been getting my hair done by Jackie and Ameerah for years. Those girls are absolute treasures! All the girls there are absolutely wonderful! I would go to any of them to get my hair done..I have seen the beautiful work all the girls there do and I am amazed at the experience they have ! And amazed that a salon could act and make you feel like a family! That is, unless you're going to Jess, who is a miracle worker. I went and was absolutely butchered by the woman at the second, middle station. After going home, drying my hair and seeing just how bad it was, I got in the car and went back. Jess took me in, took one look at the back of my head and gasped. She did the best she could to straighten out the mess her coworker left. She had to cut a lot off and basically give me a whole new haircut to fix what was done. She was wonderful, actually. She spent about 40 minutes, cutting a bit, drying it to see how it looked blown out, and kept going until she was satisfied. Then she wouldn't take money for all the time she spent! Didn't matter, I tipped her the price of another haircut because she was so wonderful. The single star is for the woman at the middle station with the dark hair. If she calls you in, tell her you'd rather wait for anyone else! read more

First time I went there I had an amazing experience..prob the best cut and blow out I've ever had. Next time I needed a blowout I went back because I was so pleased with the service. A different stylist did my blow out, and it was awful. There was no 'how do you like your hair?', and when she was finished, it looked like I did it myself. In fact, the back of my hair wasn't even dry! Didn't notice until I got home and I had to redo the entire thing. To make matters worse, they charged me the same as what a cut, conditioning, and blow dry had cost. Doesn't make much sense to me, so I called the next day to speak to the manager. She was very nice and offered to redo my hair, but would not issue a refund. I declined because after such poor service, I will not be returning...really disappointed. read more

I don't even know what to say, worst haircut and highlighting job ever. I had asked for ashy brown highlights, what I got was hair that looked like hay with yellow/orange highlights. Looked like something from a bad bleach job. I also was getting a trim, apparently it wasn't noticed that my hair was slightly angled and longer in the front with some layers in the back. Even after I said that while my hair was being cut, the girl just went scissor happy and cut it straight. I can't even say it's straight because it's all uneven with more hair cut off on one side than the other, all choppy uneven layers. Looks like my 7 year old niece cut it. Nothing I said was heard and even after when I was saying it wasn't what I asked for, etc, the girl doesn't even try say sorry or anything but tries to act and convince me that this is what I asked for. As if I don't have eyes. If it was what I asked for then I wouldn't have been upset. Horrible experience! read more
