She does the prettiest hair color I've ever had. (And I've had a LOT of hair colors!) Also she uses natural products which was important to me when I was pregnant. Finding a hair stylist who will do what you ask (instead of giving you the hair cut they think you need) is pretty much priceless, which is why I won't go anywhere else. I've seen another girl there, Rene, doing hair and it looks like she's really good too. She's never done my hair, but *if* I was ever going to "cheat" on Elizabeth that's who I'd go to. When I booked, I got a text message wanting to know what type of hair that my granddaughter had, and I told them it was course, kinky, and shoulder length as they asked. I got a call from my granddaughter crying because she was sitting in the chair and the stylist says she wasn't gonna do anymore because it was taking too long. When I got there, she explained to me that she had done the Brazilian blowout, but I had to finish styling it just because it took her too long. I will never go back there again. I'm having to go to a different hairdresser and get it fixed. Then proceed to post my hair pictures acting as if she color corrected it, and it absolutely wasn't at all color corrected. After already going to another salon that was booked up until 4, we headed down to check out yet another salon when we saw Kemp's. We walked in and were able to start our appointment within 5 minutes of arriving. I showed Linsey a picture of the hairstyle I wanted and she immediately knew what and how to do it. She even took into consideration the weather outside and pinned my hair up for me to later take down, so I would be picture perfect. I personally can say I have never visited a salon when I felt that the person cutting my hair was that friendly and likable. I certainly will not be booking anymore appointments for hairstyling at Ulta. The price was also reasonable, and I would have paid even more for the excellent service.
