Let me premise this by saying I very rarely write reviews. My Saint Bernard "Walter" has recently passed away and I wanted to leave a review to let the owners Mark and Judy, along with their staff know how appreciative we are for over nine years of great service. Prior to finding Superdogs we had tried three other dog care facilities and each were sub par. We then tried at home pet care but this left our dog alone most of the day. Out of necessity we decided to give Superdogs a go and it turned out to be a great decision. In the previous daycares our dog would put the breaks on and it would take two people to drag him in. With Superdogs he couldn't get through the door fast enough! He suffered from hip dysplasia and the staff were always very attentive to this issue, and made sure he didn't overexert himself. Without me even asking they had a corner set up with additional foam floor cushioning to support his heavy bones. Over the years they have continually gone the extra mile. When I was pregnant they helped me get my dog out of my car whenever they spotted me pull up, if I forgot dogs treats or food they would have it covered or if they noticed my dogs nails were a tad bit too long they would trim them without a thought. Judy the owner e-mailed me a month or so ago asking how Walter was doing as she hadn't seen him in while. We hadn't brought him to Superdogs as he was having issues standing due to advanced age. I don't usually write negative reviews, but I feel people should know about our experience. We brought our dog here because it was much closer than the daycare she had been attending. At her previous daycare, everyone loved her and always commented on what a sweet dog she was. Her veterinarian's office has always spoken highly of her as well. We only made the switch because the location was more convenient. Looking back, we should have trusted our instincts. As soon as we arrived, she didn't want to go inside. I actually had to carry her through the door, which is completely out of character for her. When we picked her up, instead of speaking with us privately, a staff member criticized our dog at length in front of other customers. We were told she had to be continually reprimanded, kept on a leash, and eventually spent most of the day alone in a crate. This was shocking to hear, especially since we have never received feedback like this from her previous daycare or her veterinary team. When I tried to explain that this had never happened before and that everyone who has cared for her has always described her as a sweet dog, I was interrupted with, "Will you let me finish?" before the criticism continued. The entire conversation felt condescending and took place in front of other customers, which was embarrassing and unnecessary. Whether or not our dog was a good fit for this daycare, the way we were treated was unprofessional and lacked basic courtesy and compassion. We were also disappointed to be told that, after being kept on a leash, she ultimately spent most of the day alone in a crate. That was certainly not what we expected when we paid for a full day of daycare. We understand that difficult conversations sometimes need to happen, but they should be handled respectfully and privately. I hope they reconsider how they communicate with pet owners in the future because no one should leave feeling embarrassed the way we did. read more

Terrible experience. I signed my dog up for kennel-free boarding. I was told he was being a problem and had to be put into solitary confinement. He came home skinny, dehydrated, and definitely did not act like himself. He had been boarded at other facilities prior to that experience as well as after and he has never come home in such rough shape. I caution anyone who sends their dogs there. read more

Bittersweet day today. Our Kylo has been going to Superdogs for a while now and today was his last day before our move to Florida. The staff at Superdogs has always been great with him. He can be very standoffish with people and he was with the staff when he first started there. They were very patient with him and worked with him slowly. He LOVED going there. He was better in smaller groups and had his group of friends and would often get sent pictures of him and his crew. As they were bringing him out to me today I could hear the staff coming out into the hallway to say goodbye to him. Thank you to all at Superdogs for taking such good care of our boy for his days spent there and as well as his extended stays. We will all miss you. read more

I needed to write an edited/updated review after my initial experience. When we first moved to the area in 2015, this was a great find. Our pooch loved going there and used to jump on the counter when going in as he could not wait to go inside. We boarded him there a couple of times and, in retrospect, never really asked anything about how he was boarded. In fact, I don't think we even had a good tour of the facility after he went in (nor did they ever offer). This was all before they made cameras available. We had nothing but positive experiences there. Until we didn't. In 2018, our dog bit another dog. Judy did take the time to meet with us and we did see the outside video footage. It wasn't entirely clear what happened. While we did see the incident, we did NOT see what led up to it. Judy said that, because of this, they would not be able to welcome him back to public daycare. Ever. We were basically "expelled" from a place we had gone to for over years, multiple times a week, boarding on multiple occasions (for up to 10 days on one of them). They said they would take him, but he would be kenneled alone all day. What??? While I appreciate the predicament, it wasn't like he was a new visitor. According to my bank record, he had been there 198 times before without a problem. And they were entirely unwilling to even consider that perhaps he wasn't the original aggressor? I truly don't like leaving poor reviews. In fact, I left a 5-star review back in 2017 as we had nothing but positive experiences there. The staff was friendly and got to know our dog and they have occasionally even allowed us to pick up "after hours". But after speaking to quite a few others, it seems this is the modus operandi. It's "one and done". While I support not putting other dogs in harm's way, you can't tell me that you don't "get to know" a dog you have seen 200 times and know whether or not something is out of character. We have since had him at another daycare for the past 3 years and, to be honest, we have been much happier. The other daycare has full PUBLIC cameras and you can look in the windows to see them playing. We have not once had a single incident at our new provider and we watch the staff interact with them all day. So while I left 5 stars for my initial 2 years of experience, I would leave 1 star for the way in which they handled this incident. Like I said... it was all great, until it wasn't. read more

My dog, Scout, loved Superdogs. She tended to be anxious but was always happy when she saw we were at Superdogs. We knew she was in good hands and that they loved her. We haven't had much opportunity to bring in our new dog since he isn't good with other dogs but may bring him for grooming because they were so good with Scout. read more

My dog, Scout, passed away recently. She was only 6 and had heart disease. During her short life we took her to daycare and for grooming at Superdogs. She loved it there and it was the only place other than home where she wasn't scared. She loved the people and wagged her tail enthusiastically as soon as she knew where we were. They loved her, as well, and I could tell by how employees greeted her every time we visited. Then yesterday I received a sympathy card from them completely filled with condolences and words of love and sadness for Scout passing away. Each person has something to say and it was just the most beautiful thing. It brought tears to my eyes because I still miss my Scout so much. We have a new little rescue dog I hope to bring to Superdogs soon. I know Superdogs will care for him like he was their own pet. Thanks, Superdogs! read more

Our dog Hunter just started attending daycare. He is usually there two or three hours at a time. I have to say this is a wonderful place, full of caring employees who really watch the dogs. There are always at least two people with the little guys at all times which is important to us as he feels safest when there is a person in the room. I have watched him play on their video livestream and his tail is wagging the whole time. If you are looking for a GREAT place to take you pup, Superdogs is the place. We take our big boy here several times a week. They know him and me, and great us even before the door is fully open! He loves going here and playing with the staff and his friends. He always comes home in a good mood, and you can just tell they treat the dogs here so well, and how quickly they become part of a family. I recommend to anyone with a puppy, big or small, start now to get them social to people and other dogs. I'm not really a review writer unless something is either really stellar or really wrong. Unfortunately, this is not the really stellar. I used to board my dog here in the past and then all the negative stuff came out and I gave a lot of cool down time. They added cameras and people continued to seem really happy with them. I decided to give them another shot this past weekend. This morning I was watching the camera to check on my pup and couldn't find him anywhere. I gave it some time, there are blind spots. A half hour went by and nothing so I decided to call to check in. I was informed on the phone then that he had been injured, nothing super serious but he did take a good chunk out of his paw pad. When we pushed to figure out why we weren't informed we spoke with the owner Judy. She said it wasn't their policy to inform the owner until later. At this point they had already put him in a room alone, wrapped his paw, watched him, decided he was trying to go at his paw too much, and put him in a cone. No call to me. We pushed on why they didn't see fit to inform us of the injury once it happened and Judy only became condescending. No apology. My older brother picked him up and brought him to the vet while I made it home. He needs antibiotics and pain medicine. He can't even put pressure on his leg. The vet even said the wound by how it all looked happened last night and not this morning like Superdogs tried to claim. This is a situation Superdogs decided I didn't need to be informed on. That is the problem. Now, I don't think it is their fault my dog was injured. Dogs play, things happen, and sometimes injuries just happen. However, every moment from then on out is where they went wrong. Not informing me, not offering an apology, and being argumentative instead of listening to our concerns. Just because something is your policy doesn't mean you are in the right. read more

I have never reviewed anything but after such an upsetting and disappointing experience I had to. After being a loyal customer of 12 years we are no longer taking our dog to Superdogs. Really disappointing that after an issue the owner thought it was appropriate to scream at us and be so unprofessional. Absolutely do not recommend taking your dogs here anymore. read more

First and foremost, I want to say the staff is incredibly rude and condescending. That was my first red flag. I have been taking my puppy here only for a few months and we have noticed major concerns. My puppy has been going to another daycare where he cannot wait to get out of the car, and never wants to leave to go home. When I bring him here, he whines, he is stubborn, he does not want to go through that door. When I picked him up the other day I noticed his tail in between his legs, he was whining in the car and had sores/scabs under his neck and along his stomach. I just got him groomed, those were not there the morning I dropped him off. I just want to say, that I will find out what shady things you do to dogs behind closed doors and I will report this doggy daycare. I will never ever be taking my dog back here as I can tell when he is trying to tell me something, I wish I realized sooner. I have known since day one, that this isn't a good daycare and my dog is not happy here but i have tried to give Superdogs the benefit of the doubt but no I was so terribly wrong. Not only was he given "verbal corrections" for HUMPING, he was taken out of the group and I did not see him all day on the cameras. Lastly, I want to add, I was talking to a coworker about Superdogs and how I was nervous to continue bringing him there, almost immediately I was told of a similar story. I can't say enough about Superdogs, they are awesome! I have a year old Golden, not my first dog, but my first Golden. I had her at daycare yesterday, and when I picked her up, I was told that I needed to get her to a vet, she has hot spots! I am so grateful to the folks that work there for being so attentive to my Molly to notice, I didn't. I would never have brought my dog there if I had known just how they treat some dogs there. I picked up my dog and discovered that there was a huge gash on his toe which I had to take him to the vet for for evaluation and meds which cost me over $200, when I called about this, they just scoffed at me and accused me of blaming them for this injury! They didn't apologize or even offer any compensation. Also while my dog was going there, the vet had found that he had a mouth full of papillomas 7 to be exact which is very contagious among dogs. The only place he would had got this was at Superdogs. Which at the time was his only contact with other dogs. That cost me more money to have removed. They obviously don't screen for this and when I initially brought him in to be evaluated for distemperment test to see if he would be ok to go they had him for about 3 minutes and said "yup he's fine". Which I thought that was too quick. Knowing that my dog was good with others, I was worried about the other dogs there. Now about the girls who take the dogs to the back... I never felt like they were good with my dog, a little rough with the leash and yanking on him as I saw them going through the door to the back. Never saying hi and just giving me a look like they didn't care about the safety of my dog. In the end, they ended up "kicking him out" for no good real reason. Which they did us a favor, because I would never suggest this place to anyone who cares about their dog. Since then I've heard of 2 others that had been "kicked out" and dogs being injured. Decided to get our dog groomed here as we heard great things about it. Mistake. Our dog came here for the first and last time today for grooming. Was told she was ready for pickup at 1:30, drove across town and was not ready. Was told "come back at 2:30 she will be ready". We came back at 2:30 and my dog was STILL not ready. Finally had to come back a third time. Brought our dog home and she drank a significant amount of water which leads me to believe she was there ALL day without water. And to top it off her grooming was also awful- her hair was cut crooked on her face and still charged $70. Plenty of reasons to not return. read more

The owners Mark and Judy are like family to me. I used to visit quite a bit when I was little but now only go once or twice every other month. I often go and get nails cut and they do a great job. Everyone that works there is real nice and very patient with me. I was really happy when they started boarding. Mama and Papa sometimes have to go away for a few days and I know I am going to be well taken care of and in a safe environment. One!!!!! Over night Away From Home. My Senior, Jack Russell Terrier has spent only 1 night away from home in his entire life. He spent his (only) one night away from home, at Super Dogs - Merrimack, NH. Being a Jack Russell Terrier, he is very set in his ways and is also elderly. While I cannot say that he was happy about being "left behind" for the night, he was cared for in a very nice manner. His special food was given to him, he had plenty of fresh water and a nice quiet place to rest. The young woman who was the attendant that night, just adored him. He was pretty blue, when he realized that he was staying there and he can get pretty miserable to deal with. But, we all worked hard and we perservered through this boy's unhappiness. He survived the one night at Super Dog, and was pretty darn mad when I picked him up the next morning!!! The poor young woman (attendant), thanked him for coming in, and for spending the night with her. My boy completely ignored, her sweet farewell. Jack Russell's, can be a tough breed to deal with, if they do not get their way. Any changes in their life style can make them utterly miserable, especially the super spoiled ones, like mine. My two dogs Sam & Bella are simply in love with this place. Way back I was skeptical to try it as they were in a strip mall. However, after their first daycare experience when they came home fatigued, yet happy I stopped ever bringing them anywhere else for their occasional daycare appearance. Although I am that guy who prefers to travel with my dogs they became the only place that I would board my dogs for the same reasons. Fast forward to today and Super Dogs now has the most cutting edge and comfortable, freestanding boarding/daycare facility in the area. The owners are so dedicated that when they made this new facility they also made part of it their house. I don't think I have to say anymore than that. All you have to do when going away is drop off your dogs and enjoy seeing pics of your dogs having an even better time than when they are with you on the company's Facebook page until you get home. read more

I unfortunately cannot say I have had any real experience at Superdogs because unfortunately, we were not given the chance to. New to Merrimack and adopting a nine-month-old puppy, we brought him to Superdogs with a goal to wear him out, as he is a very energetic puppy, and to get him socialized with other dogs. I brought him in for his schedule temperament test. They took him from me and walked him into another room and shut the door. Within about a minute the owner came out and said my dog was barking and being "defensive" toward the staff. He has never barked at people. He sometimes barks at other dogs if they are both on leashes and held back, because he is curious and wants to play! I was told that he would not fit in because they're dogs are much more laid-back. She also added a comment that "he just needs to run "... which is exactly why we are trying to get him into a daycare. So I'm not really sure what this place does but if you have a dog that barks or are looking for a place to bring your dog to get rid of some energy, this is probably not the place for you. In response to the comment below: Judy, While I understand your concern and that you have a responsibility to protect and care for your staff and the other dogs, I don't understand how you can reply to my post with such incorrect information. However, I should not have been surprised given the numerous other similar reviews about you and your facility. If my dogs temperament test did last for 12-15 minutes, with the same results, I would not have written this review. But the fact is I was there for a total of about 3 minutes; enough to write my name and half of my address on the application before you came out to speak with me. In addition, I did tell your staff about his previous appointment before the test. And while I appreciate your professional opinion, I think I will stick with the doctors orders. read more

UPDATE: The below is a response to the owners claims. For people reading, please carefully realize what she admitted in her response: 1. My dog apparently was not always in "cage free". Even though thats what i was promised and was never informed otherwise. 2. The owner claims my dog "treated her horribly". This speaks to her character and should not be said by the owner of a daycare/ boarder. How can dogs purposely treat people horribly? He's a beagle! 3. She makes many false claims to distract from the facts. I go into detail below, but please wade through the muck if you feel like your pet isn't happy either. The signs were there, i just didn't listen 4. There are many good, local choices, with plenty of positive reviews, better facilities for the pets, larger accommodations, outside play areas (Real ones). Hello again Judy, Some of what you say is accurate, most is fallacy and distracting from the truth. Starting from the beginning (But not with the most pertinent aspects): I agree, we have been a customer for 2 years, however you and i have only spoken once before this incident (About 2 months ago, after the "slamming the door"- which i get into below), and nobody ever spoke to us about any barking or any issues the prior 2 years. Our dog barks when he is on his way to and from Superdogs. You are correct, I should have noticed that he hated it so much and taken him out much sooner. Now that we are at another establishment he has been much happier, to the point where he didn't want to leave. He never acted this way with you. Especially when he barked in my face- he was clearly telling me something. I regret not listening to him. I am ASTONISHED that you say he has only been cage free "numerous" times. Why were we not informed of this?? I was told he was always cage free.. Once again, thank you for reaffirming my extreme happiness with the other firm and confirming your ill behavior. Regarding the "slamming of the door"- Its a pull and walk out door. How do you slam one of those? Yes, i walked out with haste, due to your staff mis-informing me on your strict treat policy. But really, slamming the door? I don't think thats even possible. Now, onto the "fake name". Does it really matter what my name is when it comes to reviewing services rendered? So I'm not a public guy, thats my choice. You have confirmed i am in fact an ex-customer, and its clear others feel your service was worth writing about. I have never had an experience like this and have never felt the need to review. What does your husband recovering from surgery have anything to do with this? I see you like to distract people from the fact that you mis-treat animals. Hopefully people will be able to navigate through the fallacies you claim and realize there are better options for their loved animals. This place is such a joke. The staff is lazy and won't bother working with any dog less than perfect. I brought my deaf dog in for the temperament test and he passed. So I bring him in today for his first day, and after 40 minutes I get a call saying he was too nervous and since he can't hear them that he's unable to attend. I asked them if they would work with him to acclimate him, as this is a new experience for him and he was on a leash, so of course he's nervous. They just said that because he wouldn't warm up to all the dogs he's not allowed. So clearly this place doesn't actually care about working with dogs. I think they are just lazy and didn't want to put in any extra effort. I found a new place, and after explaining the situation, they are more than happy to work with my dog and get him used to the setting before saying he's not allowed. Side note: I'm not just saying this because he's my dog, but he is literally the sweetest dog. He LOVES playing with other dogs and all humans. Another side note: as my dog was leaving, another dog was coming in and my dog sniffed then licked this other dog. I find it Hilarious that I posted my experience on instagram and you reported it because you can't handle the truth!! Your place is awful !!! Your people working the front desk are rude! I've watched my dog all 2.5 days on the camera and your people just stand around and don't even pay attention to the dogs! My dog was literally getting harassed and humped all day long and no one put that dog in time out! Then you tell me that my puppy pinned down a 14 year old dog trying to jump her bones.... why would you ever put a 14 year old dog with pups?!?! Hummm don't worry I will never return. I wish I could give this place a zero, but I can't. So I see now with the other review, where he was coming from when he said that "if they don't like your dog they don't want your business". It is entirely true. First I called about boarding my dog, he is an American Staffordshire Terrier. He is a 60 lb "pit bull", a rescue dog, that I rescued about a year ago. He is energetic, loving and affectionate. The best dog I ever had, and I consider him my son. I have a daughter that hangs on him and he could care less, he doesn't show any aggression ever. he just loves his family and other people. They had me fill out a form regarding his temperament with people and other dogs. I put how much he loves people and loves playing with other dogs, but thought I'd mention the fact that he just doesn't like the mailman. (Which is the case for many other dogs). They took him out back to give him his "10 minute temperament test", and stuck him directly in a kennel immediately after and told me that he was " humping" other dogs, which means he would be isolated all weekend in their basement, alone in a quarantined area, With 3 times he would be allowed outside and having interaction with people, but no dogs. They did not allow me to see this "area". Which is an indoor place, with a concrete floor and a plastic bed. They did not allow me to give him his toys, his blanket or anything that would make him feel comfortable, and their reasoning for this was "sorry, but we don't want him soiling his bed or blankets, we want him using our stuff". he doesn't "soil" his own things. I decided to tell them that I wanted to speak to my friend outside about this (because my motherly instinct was telling me that my dog is more Important than my vacation.) I had a lot of second thoughts, because of his isolation, and how he can have any of his own things, and I wasn't allowed to see the place, or even go and say good bye to him, Judy was also very rude the entire time. She told me that even with training" you'll never be able to fix the humping thing that your dog does, he's just like that". To my knowledge she is not a dog trainer. I could tell how careless she was about animals, she's in it for the money unfortunately. While I was talking to my friend outside, Judy(the owner) came storming out with Max on his leash and said "sorry this isn't going to work for us, you said he doesn't like the mailman, and you don't seem like you would like him here" we told her that we only wanted to talk about it, and were telling her how friendly of a dog he is, and she just kept cutting us off, and being so rude. Max jumped in my car, he was very anxious,his eyes were red and his skin was flushed, and his feet were soaked in sweat. I am so glad I didn't bring him there. If you have a energetic dog, a pit bull, or a bigger dog that may look intimidating, I suggest you don't even bother wasting your time. I am very sad that Max was isolated, discriminated, and treated this way, and since this experience, I am worried about ever leaving him anywhere. read more

Do not take your dog to this business. They do not take responsibility for energies to you dog while in their care. We had our 12 year old pet groomed there for the first time. Petsmart, which we have used for the past 12 years, was busy. The groomer cut our dog's eyelid with the clipper. The vet bill was over $600. Superdogs would not cover any part of the bill, blaming the dog for moving. They clame the dog was a problem. It would cost us more for the lawer than it is worth so we have not pursueing farther. read more

Not a great experience. If your dog is not a PERFECT dog, they are not interested in having them there. I have had my dogs at MULTIPLE daycare/boarding/grooming facilities and have NEVER been told that my dog wouldn't be allowed to be there. These dogs are very energetic and have been cooped up for a while because of the weather.....they were excited, not aggressive. My dogs love when I say the word daycare!! This place has a lot of solutions to problems that most daycares have! The owners are incredibly knowledgeable. Robyn seems to remember everything about my boys. She never rushes me out when I have questions either! Her and Nikki are super helpful all of the time. There are so many pros when it comes to superdogs. Your babies are never alone. You feel safe leaving them here. For me, the only cons are: I wish it was closer to were I live. And I wish that pictures were posted more often and of all the dogs. Sometimes daycare days/overnight weekends go by and I don't see any of my boys. It's satisfying when you get to see what they are up to! Even if it's a group shot of the room and your baby is in the background, you know they are ok. read more

My dog is seriously my baby! I cook for him. He has his own bedroom(a bit much, I know).... After reviewing many options locally(just moved here), found Super Dogs and I LOVE THEM!!! My guy RUNS out of the car to the owners or the girls at the front desk! They always give me an update on who he played with, how active he was. I started with 1 hour then went to 2. I finally used their grooming services and I was very happy with it. I let my dog play for the day and they groomed him closer to the time I was going to pick him, so that flexibility was nice and I liked that he was able to play first. They have a nice grooming package and you can pick too what you want if you do not want the full grooming. They gave my dog a cute little bow tie, which I liked, because I hate those bandannas :) read more

I want to start off by saying the reviews that state they only accept "perfect" dogs is pure bunk. Our pup Norah, while adorable and sweet, was/is also chaotic, skittish, stubborn and a huge drama queen. I was extremely nervous during her temperament test, which she passed after first taking a moment for what the staff member kindly referred to as a "nervous pee". She has been to other daycares, highly recommended ones with much larger facilities, more amenities and for less money. Previously, she was let loose with essentially a huge pack of dogs, nothing stopping her from being bullied, no pause in play time to the point where she got home she was so amped up she'd be running around destructive til 2AM. Not the case with Superdogs, where she ha truly blossomed. She's become more confident, learned to relax, and perhaps most importantly, her excitement about going to "school", has helped her conquer her debilitating fear of car rides. She knows the exit and is bouncing off the walls the minute you pull off the highway. Their insistence on a structured day has helped her immensely. She comes home tired, happy and functions like a normal non psychotic dog. I will admit I'm the worst kind of helicopter mom. For the first time in 15 years we're down to one dog, a tiny baby puppy who is the embodiment of all our hopes and dreams. As a result, I know I'm annoying. I ask a lot of questions, I pre-printed a Norah Instruction Manual for her first day, and another one the first time she got groomed. (I would like to say that she came out EXACTLY how I wanted after her groom, and have convinced myself my missive helped). I call way too much. I've been around the dog world, I have opinions about things, and yeah, some things rankled me a bit. I was annoyed she couldn't wear her leather collar when no other place had an issue with it. I was miffed that there were no webcams and they had no plans to install them. But you know what? I got over it. She has a collar just for daycare, which works great because she knows what's coming. The explanation for no webcams (client privacy especially in terms of custody disputes) made a lot of sense, so now I just obsessively stalk the Facebook page. The rules make it a better safer place not only for my dog, but everyone else's as well. Before making the decision to visit Superdogs, I poured over every review source I could find. I have a tendency to not trust 100% glowing reviews. Fortunately there were some stickers here, stinkers that were obviously left by people who just wanted something to be mad about. While I don't believe I've ever met Judy, I have full faith in her and her team as competent and well intentioned. I legitimately trust them with my dog, which isn't something I say lightly, but it's the highest compliment I can give. read more

Judy and mark (owners) work very hard to groom every dog the best they can! With 65 years combined in dog care, grooming, breeding, etc. they have more experience than most daycares/ groomers around here. I decided to try Superdogs for daycare because it's right down the road from work. So glad I did! My younger dog has been attending for a few months now and really likes it. She's been to a few different daycares. If she doesn't like a place, she will refuse to go inside. But as soon as we pull into the Superdogs parking lot, she gets so excited. One day last week my older dog, who has no interest in daycare, decided she was going to check it out. She loves it too! When we pull in to the parking lot, she muscles her way out of the car to get in there. Which is great because she could use the exercise. If my dogs love it this much, they must be doing something right :) And they have discounted rates for two dogs! I think the facility is impressive. It's very large and very clean. All the staff are friendly and know all the dogs by name. I feel like my dogs are well cared for. Just tried the cage free boarding and will definitely use again. I do wish they had webcams because I miss my dogs when I go on long trips, and it's nice to see they're having fun. But Superdogs does update their facebook page with pictures all the time. read more

Only reason I did not go full throttle with my star rating is that there are so many things there I haven't had a chance to try out. For starters they offer KENNEL FREE boarding that allows your dog to spend the night as if they are at home. Futons, beds, TV to add comforting noise and a real human staff person to stay with them the whole time. I know because their Facebook page allows viewers to see photos and video all the time. While I haven't had my dog groomed there, I ask frequently for the staff to clip her nails for me during her daycare time. Not only do they clip her, but they file each nail smooth. Great job every time! Mark and Judy make you feel like part of the family. Every time I pick up my dog, the staff person will tell me how her day was, who she played with, etc. Very personal. Pricing is a tad more than others I researched but location is great. read more

Let me preface this review with the fact that my lovable floppy eared mixed breed Mercy attended doggie daycare at Mukota Kennels in Swanzey NH 5 days a week for over 3 years before I had my "experience" at SuperDogs. We arrived for Mercy's temperament test early because it was snowing and I didn't want the roads to get too bad. A begrudgingly nice girl greeted me and asked me to wait for my appointment time. She never told me her name. Nicely she ended up taking me early. For roughly 5 min they took a bewildered Mercy out back without me, introduced her to staff members and 1 random dog. Now Mercy, whether overwhelmed with a strange place or being surrounded by strangers or just having a plain old bad day did not like the introduction of a strange dog so suddenly! Shockingly-she growled and became defense?!? No kidding?!? Sadly she was not allowed admittance. I guess at SuperDogs every dog gets along with every other dog always. In fact they are not animals at all they're robots. This place is a joke. read more

Love Superdogs! I take my pup here to be groomed every few months and am never disappointed. I specifically chose Superdogs because their website stated that they specialize in challenging dogs and mine has a bit of anxiety in new situations with new people. I really wanted him to have an environment where he would be comfortable and I've definitely found that at Superdogs. The staff are so good with him and I can always tell that he was well cared for during his grooming. The groomers here are also extremely talented. I have an australian shepherd who is very very furry and I know grooming him is a challenge. They always do such a fabulous job and he looks amazing every time. Plus they only charge me 65 dollars which I think is a very fair price for all the hard work they put into him. I wouldn't take him anywhere else! read more

Below you can see my original post, but I was reminded about our experience with Super Dogs today and realized I had never updated my review and rating. Our dog was 6 months old when we sent her to Superdogs. She is a mastiff and happened to be a energetic one. One day she came out with a large cut on her leg, and no one could explain why. It was the first concerning instance. Shortly thereafter I came to pick her up from daycare and was told that she was not invited back. When I asked if she had been aggressive or been in a fight, I was told that she was not but that the owners felt she was too big to be playing like a puppy and she was going to hurt a small dog. I had originally been told she would never be in a room with small dogs because they separated the dogs by size. Apparently that wasn't the case and my dog was being kicked out for being a normal big puppy. I took her to another location where the dogs were truly separated by size and she was in a room with mastiffs, Great Danes, German Shepherds, etc. She did great. She has never been in a fight and has not been injured. We are able to see her on their video cameras as well. Since then I have heard some very disturbing things about the animal treatment at superdogs, and some of what I have heard explains some of the fears my dog has to this day. She is extremely confident but is terrified of long objects like brooms, etc. We were always confused since it seemed irrational. I now wonder if that is due to being hit with a paddle as some former employees have stated occurs. I certainly hope it's not. Original Post: My pup loves going to daycare at Superdogs. They say hello when she enters and her whole body starts wagging, not just her tail. She seems very happy there. Her reaction is important to me because I have often questioned whether she is loved and cared for there or not. She obviously enjoys it and loves the girls in charge of her there. read more
