Superdome Sports in Waldwick has AWFUL customer service. I emailed them to see if I could register my child for a clinic. They responded it wouldn't be a problem. I registered and paid for the clinic immediately. When I showed up for the first day, they first told me we were late and that I had the wrong time. When I showed them my invoice and their website they then said I couldn't have registered for that clinic because it doesn't exist. It is STILL on the website. They are refusing to refund me. They refuse to admit their mistake. They never informed me of any potential changes or that what I had paid for would not be offered. They took my money and did not provide the service that I paid for. Everyone should avoid this place for their shady business practices. read more

This review is for the kids soccer program only. My experience does not square with the lone dissenting review. The coaches seem well schooled in fundamentals and my 8 year old is well challenged in his 2 - one hour weekly sessions. This is not club soccer for sure - more like winter training to build foot skills and confidence - but for the price ($100 for each 8 week session) and given about 10 kids per class, it suits us. Our youngster has already improved in a short few weeks. If your kid is the star of his club team, this may seem elementary. But if he or she is like the vast majority of youngsters who play rec soccer in nj, this program is a nice way to reinforce the skills they learned in summer and fall. I cannot say enough GREAT things about the Superdome in Waldwick. We had my son's birthday party there last year and booked another one for this year. The coaches were awesome with the kids, everything was super organized and ran so well and the kids had an absolute BLAST! My son also attended the all sports summer camp and it was FABULOUS! Again, it was super organized and the coaches/counselors were excellent! My son and his friends that attended with him absolutely LOVED going!! I'm a little late to getting around to write this review. But we did my daughter birthday there I believe on July 12. It was a very young stuff that handled everything from the front desk to the on field action to the party room after, and I have to say they did an incredible job. They were on top of everything. They made it stress free and the kids had a great time. I couldn't be any more pleased with the job they did. Thank you so much. I did my other daughters birthday party a few days before somewhere else and they wouldn't even be put in the same category of how Superdome handled this party. We were here today for a 6 year old's birthday party. The Superdome is huge! Great space for the kids to run around and scream as loud as they want. A bit chilly for the parents waiting on the sidelines so bring a jacket/coat/something hot to drink! I'm sure the kids are fine because they're active, busy running around. They had two people running the party, refereeing, directing the kids. They split up the kids into two teams, giving either yellow or orange jersey vests. Started off with relay races, running and kicking a ball. Then a soccer game, followed by floor hockey and ending with dodgeball. The kids were having a blast, screaming and running around. Our 4 year old was a bit lost and confused but our 7 year old knew exactly what to do. Awesome way to get the kids active and interacting with each other. After all the activities, we left the dome to go into their party room for pizza and cake. After eating, the kids were given tokens to play in the small arcade next door. With all of the field hockey I've watched over the past six years you'd think all of the fields and venues would all just get jumbled in my head..but that's not the case and I tend to remember them all pretty well-the good and the bad. This review is for the venue during this camp only...it's run by outside people who are very good a running these camps and has nothing to do with the programming offered by Superdome. So, for the second year in a row my daughter had a weekend college showcase camp at Superdome and both years we've had a great time. The flow for 160+ kids and many of their parents is tight since there is one revolving door between the lobby and the playing surface, but we made it work. The surface itself is sport turf and not an AstroTurf type field (preferred by field hockey players), but it makes sense for such a multi-use facility. They also keep the temperature in the playing area cold enough to freeze meat so if you are watching and not playing bring a jacket or blanket. The lobby and meeting rooms are fine, but could use a little more air flow...chairs could use an upgrade for those of us whose butts are a little older. The food here is a little pricey, but the counter people seem nice and moved people through quickly. People tend to eat and then loiter at their tables so be prepared to ask someone to sit with them. Parking was no problem here either. I don't know what the place is like for their own programming, but for this event it's perfectly acceptable. I'd be happy to come here again, but I hope by this time next year there's no reason to return. read more

I used to play here back when the dome was just that, just a dome (approximately 10-15 years ago). Since the addition of the whole complex with a daycare, basketball courts, physical therapy, ballet studio, cross fit and so much more this has become a hot spot for children and adults alike. There are classes offered Monday - Friday and Saturday mornings for children ranging from ages 3 -18 for soccer to baseball to lacrosse and everything in between. They also have adult soccer leagues on Tuesdays and open play on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. The changes over the years have been only for the better, I have high hopes for this complex. read more

Place could be great except the dome is freeeezing. ! If it's 50 outside - it's 40 inside. Been here for bday parties and it's fine - it's so big and few places offer this space. I would have given 4 stars but the snack bar is ridiculously expensive that my kid cannot get a snack for under $2. How is that possible? Yogurt is 3.25.... yogurt? Really? Robbery. This review is purely for the soccer camp they ran this summer, NOT for the facility on the whole, which I'm fine with. My son is a competitive, but not elite, soccer player. We were planning on sending him to a soccer camp for a week or so. We wound up going with the one offered at Superdome because it's air conditioned (it was in the 90s when he'd be attending) and proximity to our house. Thankfully, we were going to pay by the day because his experience was subpar. First, they had them outside for a big chunk of time. The emails they send reference the hot/bad weather not being an issue, so why were they out on turf in 94 degree heat? Also, the trainers were disengaged and unimpressive. Finally, they bunched the kids in strange groups that were not of similar abilities. We do not recommend the summer soccer camp. read more

3 stars for, "A-Okay." The large indoor dome facility is large enough to host several fields of activities at once. The AstroTurf field being heavily peppered of rubber granules ensures a soft cushion fall, but also a sneaker filled with unwelcome hitch hikers. Drink vending machines are available on the sidelines for the thirsty onlooker. The staff for parties are mainly a pair of teens assigned per party. Friendly enough, but not too well versed on how to handle shy or nervous kids, choosing to skip or ignore them rather than any attempt to alleviate or comfort. That job needs to be done by the parents or none at all. The snack shop opens and closes at will. Sometimes closing as early as 1:30pm on a Saturday afternoon. There is an arcade room that takes tokens. Most machines requiring 4 or more tokens per play. Quite steep. Open to none party guests as well. The party room is large enough for 20 kids and 20 adults with one private but large restroom. Party packages are fairly priced. read more

We just celebrated my son's 3rd birthday here this past weekend. It went seamlessly! The kids and parents placed their gifts and jackets into bins and lined up before entering the dome. Then, they were divided into two teams (differentiated by different colored vests). They participated in 3 structured sports, as well as relay races. The kids seemed engaged and enthusiastic. After the games, they came into the party room where the plates and cups that I had given the staff beforehand were assembled, and the food that I pre-ordered with the staff was set up for the adults. The staff effortlessly flowed between sports, and handled the food distribution, as well as cake distribution very well. The kids received tokens at the end of the party, and were allowed to play arcade games (some of which ideally should be fixed, but for which we were reimbursed if the kids lost money on them). Lastly, they left our goody bags out for distribution, and they placed all of the gifts, as well as our leftovers and the residual jackets on a table, so as to avoid leaving anything behind. Planning the party was easy-both via email and by phone. I felt at ease, and like I could tend to the parents at the party because the kids were so occupied and taken care of. The facility is clean and well organized. The coaching staff (for soccer) is excellent. As I watch my child's soccer training, it is also nice to see multiple sports training there as well. I have observed many young kids enter into the dome and say " Wow! This is awesome!" I am lucky to have a local facility that offers excellent training and fun times for my child. read more

Most disorganized management of a birthday party I have ever experienced. Too bad as the concept is a good one.

If I could give this a negative review, I would. Their kids program is a lie, they don't introduce any kids to sports. All they do is let the kids run around basically free time, while they mix little 3-4 year olds with 7-8 year old rough kids with ADHD. Complained 5 times to the manager only to be told 'theres absolutely no refund'. This place is so unorganized, I don't know how they keep getting people to sign up. Do your research and make sure you watch a few classes before you join. read more

We have been in kids sports camp for four weeks. The coach is good but the overall experience has been so so. The staff that works the door is rude and they send out important information like canceled classes via email. Unfortunately they also spam you with advertisement emails so last week me (and 20 other parents) showed up to closed doors. read more

We attended a 4yo birthday party here recently. The kids had a blast, the staffed managed even the littlest kids really well. The facility was clean and the event executed in an orderly fashion. The restrooms were super clean (very important with new to the potty toddlers who touch everything! ). Will definitely be back at this location for future events. My daughters train soccer at this Superdome for 5 years. Over the last two years I have seen the soccer programs continuously get better and better, with better coaches and better players. This year it looks like they put new lighting in the place and they just installed big tv monitors all throughout which is pretty sweet. Sometimes the internet gets choppy because of the large numbers that are in there at night. i'm not sure why all the changes recently but its been great. My daughter also plays lacrosse and sometime she trains the same time as my soccer kids which is convenient. Its a really good place. read more
