If you want hazy beers, this is the place to be. Parking is available on the side streets. The venue is surprisingly huge. Looks like the space used to be a printing shop. I'm thinking this is the place to be if one doesn't want to deal with crowds. There is window bar style seating, a large indoor area by the bar counter, and a long and somewhat narrow outdoor patio. The patio is S facing, but there is a wall with plants on top that mostly keeps the sun out of one's face. Staff are friendly. No complaints. As of the time of writing, there are 8 beers on tap. However, they aren't exactly all unique. Looks like they have 2 main types of hops (citra and Vic secret), and most of the beers are just various combinations of these. With that said, the beers tasted pretty good. I think all of their beers are the hazy type. I didn't see anyone else in the patio having any non hazy beer, other than the fruit one (looked a bit like a smoothie) which doesn't really count. Pricing is a bit high as of the time of writing, at $4 for a 6oz half pour, $6 for a 12oz glass, and $8 for a 16oz pint. Will be back at some point to enjoy the patio some more.

I guess we should get a few to start?

HUGE brewery located lower Clarke St and fortunately for us, NO line up! Tons of seating options, a large bar area, several clean bathrooms, and open concept to the cooking area and beer making area. I tried their new flavor beer (a coffee flavor) and it was super delicious. I like a strong coffee and was very happy with it. Then I tried the Guest tap cider option but it wasn't for me. My friend is obsessed with Mosaic and they have her favorite beers here! Definitely a neat place to check out. I would like to see more vegan friendly food options to go with the delicious beer!

Superflux is a very popular brewery that specializes in hazy/IPA beers. Reminds me of Twin Sails Brewing out in Porty Moody. Finally made it out for a visit when a buddy was in town visiting. We dropped in on a Tuesday evening (around 6:00pm). The inside is open and spacious with plenty of seating. They also have a nice outdoor patio area that's a bit sheltered from all the car traffic. Unfortunately, they don't offer flights but there's three options; 6oz ($4.00), 12oz ($6.00) and 16oz ($8.00). Service was friendly and they checked up on us several times. You can buy 4-packs to go ($15.00 to $19.00). There's a small food menu consisting of hot dogs and snacks, salads & mains. - Coconuts ($6.00 for 12oz) - this was the better of the two flavours that we tried. The coconut notes come through. - Marigold ($6.00 for 12oz) - nothing particularly stood out other than it tasted like a hazy styled beer. - Bun me ($12.00) - sounded interesting on paper but the combination didn't enthral us. It tasted like a regular hot dog. If this was $6.00, I wouldn't be complaining but nowhere worth it's price point. Skip. - Mortadella sandwich ($13.00) - tiny sandwich and that's all you get. This was better than the hot dog but needed a contrasting texture. Skip out on the food offerings. Come to Superflux if hazy and IPA beers is your jam.

Been grateful that Superflux opened amid the chaos of COVID. I've been able to come 2-3 times and it's a cool chill space, always with a line up. We love their IPAs... and for the most part, we love all their beers. Some of their Fountain Biers I've tried (since they rotate) haven't been super to my liking but then it's easy just to order another delicious one. For the most part we always get sat in the tap room first which I guess is nice if they are transitioning you into the main seating area but on our last time it wasn't offered despite wanting to eat. We eventually asked and got in there but eating on a tiny window sill a meal with fork and knife ain't my jam but I guess also beggars can't be choosers. Had their beef tartare and it was delicious (and spicy) but the food here is pretty elevated! I need to try that cabbage bourguignon next time. Their hot dogs are solid too!

A little expensive but really great, strong, creative, unique beers. Good hotdogs too. Wish they did flights. Currently the smallest is a 6oz pour. Can buy cans of beer there which is great. Could use some improvement in the merch section. I've been here once on a cold day and I wanted to buy a hoodie or sweatshirt but they didn't actually have one that I wanted to spend money on :-P

Oh man I did not like this brewery. Although it's kind of cool inside, the beers were not the best I had that day. I decided to to have a flight. Two of the beers I chose were good (the best one was the fuzzy peach). I had asked the waitress for her advice on a third, but told her I did not like hops. What did she recommend? A hoppy beer. My friend also ordered a beer that smelled super funky and tasted just as bad. I believe it was called Nova. Anyways not the greatest experience. We left 2 beers behind cause we weren't going to drink or force down I should say, anything we didn't like.

Kale Salad, Colourer & Shapyest, Heavy Fruit Super Summer Slurper

Fantastic beer and food. Had the Colourer & Shapyest, SoulWax, and Heavy Fruit Super Summer Slurper. All excellent, and I am picky with my Hazy IPAs (and smoothies). The Kale salad was one of the best I've had and the Carnitas tacos were delicious. (The salsa is pretty spicy, so get it on the side if you are sensitive.) Wish they distributed to the US. If you like Humble Sea, Alvarado, Treehouse and Monkish. Stop by Superflux. Great modern industrial space with good music at a volume that supports conversation. Excellent attentive service as well. The whole family enjoyed it.

What a great little gem. The Hubs and I tried this place on a sunny mid-week in August and we were not disappointed. This place share the same building/signs as Budget Signage. If you see it, you are here. Free street parking is plentiful. Be careful of Clark as it is a main artery, you may be better off parking in the small side streets. The space has surprisingly large indoor and outdoor space. The beer are super duper unique (ur, that's what we look for - what's your unique value proposition, bro?). Not as out there as Storm Brewery, but the flavour profile is strong enough that what they say is what you taste (ie, if there's strawberry, there's strawberry flavour - not just a little hint). Prices are very reasonable as well - 12 oz sets you back $6. Not bad at all. Taste: Colour & Shape - flagship beer Really good hazy profile with not overtly crazy hop. Double coconuts - damn coco "nuts" Hoppy but true coconut flavours that I haven't tasted from a lot of breweries that claim coconut flavours. The Creamery - juice in a cup Tasted like a waffle cone in liquid form. Wtf. Kinda sweet though. Overall: we will likely come back for some beers.

A newly opened beer pub in East Van, we have been meaning to come here for a few months. We were impressed with the minimalistic labeling they had on their cans and were even more so when we stepped into their seating area. Superflux actually has quite a large seating area in the back which we were not expecting when we looked at the storefront. I was also a big fan of the decor into be eating area which made it feel just that much more welcoming. We got three of their beers to try (Coconuts, Lemon Lime Fountainbier, the Creamery) and although I'm usually a bit more of a sour person, I thoroughly enjoyed all three, in particular the creamery which was pretty much like a beer creamsicle. They also had a few offerings of food which we didn't get to try as we had pizza beforehand but it smelt delicious! Cannot wait to introduce our beer loving friends to this new place!

One of the best breweries especially for IPAs in Vancouver! They have a huge selection and always have new experimental/limited editions. I haven't tried any of their food yet but I definitely plan to. They have nice patio seating perfect for summer/covid

Great beer, great hotdogs and great service! Attentive to COVID safety protocols and made it easy to order and pay in both the lounge and the restaurant.

Our server was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from start to finish. One of the coolest things about Steamworks is the history behind the brewery. The brewery was originally inspired by Gastown's famous steam clock and historically used steam power in its brewing operations. Even today, steam remains part of the brewing process, helping heat the brewing kettles and connecting the brewery to the neighborhood's industrial heritage. Of course, the beer is the star of the show. Fresh, flavorful, and brewed on-site, it's hard to beat enjoying a pint in the heart of Gastown. If it's your first visit, I highly recommend getting the 10-beer flight. It's a fun way to sample a wide range of their brews and find a few favorites without committing to a full pint. Whether you're a beer enthusiast or just looking for a great meal with excellent service, Steamworks is well worth a visit.

The food and atmosphere here are excellent, but be cautious of the wait staff…read more My friend and I initially planned to order one beer each with our meal. Our server suggested that, because it was happy hour, a pitcher would be cheaper and save us money. I specifically asked how many ounces the pitcher was and was told 32 oz, which sounded reasonable since we planned to get 15 oz beers. When the pitcher arrived, it was clearly 64 oz. The server apologized for the mistake, and I let it go, thinking we didn't have to drink it all. However, when the bill arrived, the price didn't match the quote. We were charged $25, not the $20 we were originally told when the 64-oz pitcher showed up, with the explanation that the regular price was $35 and that we had "saved" money. In the end, we were served twice the beer we wanted and paid twice what we intended, based on information that kept changing. Whether this was incompetence or intentional, it left me feeling frustrated and uncomfortable. The food and atmosphere really were great -- but the experience was overshadowed by feeling manipulated. Enjoy the food and beer, but pay close attention to what the wait staff tells you and what ends up on the bill.
