I do not even know where to start but Don and Adam provide fast turnaround and CUSTOMER SERVICE beyond expected standards. I am quite ignorant when it comes to technology and went in shop to upgrade the software on my Mac and I mentioned my interest in having Google chrome application. They were patient, informative and presented a can do attitude. The main reason I was hyper concerned about upgrading my MacBook was due to a big boxing match that would take place two days later and I was concerned whether or not the upgrade would work with my tv. They mentioned that they will be on call and provided the time to deliver the PC with a functional check on my tv. My 5 year old Dell laptop was not loading. I ran the diagnostics that said my power cord and battery were failing. After attempting to try again, the computer made loud beeps then crashed. I took it in to Super Geeks and Don diagnosed that it needed a new battery and power cord. I agreed to have them replaced as well as have the system upgraded to have it process faster. I was told it would take at least a week to get a new battery shipped. To my surprise, the laptop was fixed and upgraded in five days. I am very pleased with the customer service and quality of work. I had an issue with my desktop computer where it would sometimes power on with the power switch and other times it would not work. I took my PC to Don at super geeks and it was actually one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had with any store. While Don could not identify the problem right away, he worked with me every step of the way to try and rectify the problem. He even came to my residence to try and work the problem from my end to see if the problem was something to do with my building. In the end, the problem was with my PC motherboard. Don went through the trouble to return my faulty motherboard to the manufacturer with the warranty and put a new motherboard in my computer to use in the mean time. Took my old and new computer down to have the hard drive cloned, was told it would take 5 - 7 days and not guaranteed that all days would migrate over. Dropped it off Monday morning and was notified it was done on Wednesday. Before leaving they showed me what was done and even they were surprised it went so quickly and smoothly, from what I can tell, 100% migrated over, price was very reasonable, they even set up my portable back up drive with no extra fee. My 8 year old Toshiba had seen better days, getting slower over the years despite all my best efforts. I finally decided to upgrade to an SSD. They recommended a 1 TB unit from Samsung. Advertised TAT is 5-7 days. It was ready on day 7. My prayers were answered. She's now a lot faster with more storage space. I was more then satisfied with the service I got from Don at Super Geeks. I took my old & new computer in on Tuesday and picked in up on Wednesday. Instead of transferring my data from the old to new - he was able to "clone" my computer so the new computer looked exactly like the old one and I didn't have to figure out where everything was. I paid $166 (included tax) and I found that price to be very reasonable. Don was very clear and easy to understand in explaining things to me. This review is for the only time I had used SuperGeeks back in 2011, when my desktop computer somehow crashed and needed some immediate assistance. I thought for a while that it was something I had downloaded (virus) before the system went erroneously bad, but as it turned out, it wasn't. The system was acting strange before I took it in, but I thought it was just acting stupid, until it really went nuts and I just couldn't handle it anymore. I kind of panicked, so I just searched for the nearest and most reputable computer place I could find, and I was referred here. SuperGeeks offers a host off services at your disposal. What I got was the $199 express package, which included the virus removal and the system performance upgrade with the installation of anti virus software (avast). The service was expedited and I had my computer back within 3 working days. Since I brought it over on a Saturday, it seemed longer than it was. The SuperGeek offices here in Honolulu seemed sparse, but they know what they are doing. Thankfully for them, it wasn't a virus but something just finally crashed. I thought I really downloaded a virus, but as it turned out it was something entirely different. But they suggested that an anti virus be installed to prevent anything for the future. Good customer service and I would certainly come back when the time arises. Price wise, it's kind of up there, but when you don't back up your files regularly and sh*t hits the fan with your hard drive, you'd pay for the service. At least that's what happened to me. My mom had an amazing experience at Supergeeks! She had a Mac that was been damaged by smoke and water and wanted to see if she could get data extracted from it. Before going to Supergeeks, her friend had originally taken the computer to another place located on Beretania near the main police station. Those guys charged $170 JUST to open it up and to check it out - not including the cost of data extraction (which they said could end up costing several hundred dollars)! Like seriously?! That same day when she found out they charged her friend the $170, she went to pick it up and demanded a refund. There was absolutely no mention of that charge when she had spoken to them on the phone. ANYWAY, back to Supergeeks! When she went to Supergeeks, Don opened up the computer - which, mind you, took less than a minute - and she ended up paying only around $100 total for the data extraction! Don is the man, I mean seriously after ordering a computer online for gaming purposes I quickly realized that I was sold a lemon to make it simple. On the second day my computer shuts down and days with no alternative in hand and knowing very little about computers myself I take it down to Supergeeks where this gentleman named DON greets me and offers me the usual price for a quick check up to diagnose the possible issues. After making his discoveries he contact me to let me know the damage in terms of dollars and I quickly realize that the repairs will cost me as much as the computer it was. A week goes by I receive a text telling me that the computer is ready for pick up..... On his own time he decides to do what he does Best and slaves together some components to make his computer feel Brand New and running as smooth as anything else. My son's Seagate external hard drive no longer recognized his data & made beeping sounds. We dropped it off at SuperGeeks & I received a call from Don the following day. Unfortunately the data couldn't be recovered locally. However Don was extremely helpful in providing alternative options such as sending it to the Clean Room etc..The HD was still under Seagate warranty therefore he also provided info on how to file a claim & what may happen if the HD is sent for replacement / recovery.
