I finally went elsewhere, and the new shop fixed it right the first time. Now I'm $3K deep and a year into a repair that should've cost around $2K. I chose the wrong shop. Pricing was insanely competitive, and Chris even worked his magic to knock some extra off, because having your alternator go out on a Wednesday isn't fun for anyone's bank account in this economy. They pushed to get my car done quickly so I could pick my son up on time from school- and even had a mechanic pause his work to drive me up the road to my house so I could eat and get our second vehicle in case they ran over with the repair. These men never once made me feel like a burden and helped me with a smile, explained pricing to me in a way that felt educational, every employee was kind and generous in going above and beyond to have my car repaired and me as a customer and person taken care of. Lights dimmed then died, the car struggled to keep running. I limped home on a wing and a prayer. This morning I started looking for a shop that would at least do a diagnostic right away so I could figure out my plans for going back to Virginia on Monday. After calling a few shops that wouldn't even let me have the car towed to them I found Hooligan Motorsports. A quick call with Rob and he said he could have a look at it as soon as I could get it there. We both suspected the Alternator and within 20 minutes of having the car dropped off Rob called to tell me that he could have it fixed up same day, and an hour or so after that he called again to say the car was ready to be picked up! On top of helping me out of my sudden problem right away, the cost of repair was surprisingly affordable. I'm truly fortunate to find this shop. Rob is very easy to work with. He was the miracle I needed today, and I have found the local shop where we will be taking our repair needs in the future.

I bought 4 new tires at Tire Discounters on Wall Triana with the road hazard warranty. The sales…read moreman couldn't be nicer. But when I needed a damage tire fix or replaced he said he said he didn't have the tire but would have it by the next day and set an appointment for the following day at 5 PM. The next day I called about 430 and said I might be five minutes late and he said no problem. I arrived at 5:05 and he told me he didn't have the tire and couldn't help me. I explained that the tire was damaged and I took a chance just coming there with it again he told me he couldn't help me. He didn't even offer to look at the tire to see if it could be patched. He said the shop on cabela drive had four of the tires and I could go over there. When I walked out he said be careful, I was so upset and wondered if he would have sent his mother or wife off with a damaged tire. Buy then it was about 5:20 and traffic in Madison is horrible so I went home and was grateful the tire made it . Someone should have called or told me when I called that they didn't have the tire. I think he just wanted to go home and wasn't making money off of a warranty. I will get my tire and then I will never use or recommend Tire discounters to anyone. I'll go to Avis, Firestone or Big Hearted Eddys, anywhere but there.

Nope they told us to come in and wait 4 hours... Update: Went to Express Oil Change.. got my car in in 10 minutes with good customer service.
